Where do I see that it has only Asia language support?
The Image is named ASIA_WWE so I assumed this Image contains also english language.
I think just change CID and MNS for WWE ! i ported but camera not working !

Have you tried switching the htclockscreen.apk for one from the Kingdom / Pyramid ROM?
Oh and also, the EGL libs, have you tried the new ones? If that doesn't fix the icons, then try the old EGL's.

This was a problem with another rom....in fact was it yours? No icons showed up, but it did get fixed.

it would be nice to see this ROM kick off.. i have seen others try it but then gave up on it very quickly but since the actual MT4G Slide is out now maybe we can get this ROM going. Dung your best and TDizzle and Lang helping out with testing and ideas on fixes I know it would be in my rotation of daily users.. Thanks for all everyone does to help us keep the Great HD2 alive and still kicking other Native Android phones butts...
Since the glacier rom works with no more glitches graphics (thx to haldric). I wanna give this rom a shot later tonight.
Hope it can fixes disappearing icons too.

Did you try use other Kernel (like Tytung Kernel R11) for this ROM?
Maybe Raf 1.9 don't work well for 2.3.4 and 2.3.5

i port this rom for SD build but bootloops
i think must change someting in framework.jar & framework-res.apk
also i try with (framework.jar + libandroid_runtime.so + libicui18n.so + libicule.so + libiculx.so + libicuuc.so + libskia.so + libskiagl.so + libwebcore.so ) from Pyramid 2.3.4 ... ok boot no loop but i dont See Anything except the background !
also i try init.rc + init.android from Orginal Desier S ... same way bootloops

When the phone boots it'll show Samsung GT-5660M instead of 5660

Yeah I have seen that in zip file.
I find it a bit inconvenient when choosing option in AROMA.
It only works with volume button and power button.
Btw,all of kernels can't works on 2012 wfs.

Can't install the ROM : I configure Aroma, but when it comes to install it just says Installed immediately, doesn't print anything and finishes with status 2.
BTW, would it be possible to fix HTC Keyboard auto correction ? Or even swyping ? It isn't working in every Sense 3.5 ROM I tried :-/
Also, did you add flac support as in .sense ? I love Sense 3.5 music player but the stock one doesn't play flac.

It worked fine for me with Status: 0. Could you post your log.txt here and try refashing. Wipe everything except external storage. And don't forget to select mindhaxor's kernel.

This is quite reminiscent to .sense,which in my opinion is too big to download.......launchers can be downloaded separately..it might just reduce the size

Deodex_10.6.1.8.zip WW - Version !
Switch_To_US.zip US Version !
Installation :
update your device to the last Asus Firmware 10.6.1.8 Android 4.2.1 ;
install TWRP 2.4.4.0 recovery - ! for new bootloader version ! - ( via fastboot method -> fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery file_name.blob ! ) ;
put the downloaded archive on your device ;
go to TWRP recovery and choose Install ;
Wipe Cache/Dalvik ;
If you want to use US version , please apply patch Switch_To_US.zip !
Reboot System !
Now you have rooted & deodexed the last officialy Asus Firmware 10.6.1.8 !

The file downloads fine, twrp will fail when trying to flash, I tried to test the file in 7zip - failed also - The MD5 is fine.
I have a US TF300T,
I was already on stock and had TWRP 2.4.4.0-4.2 installed, so I just installed the swith_to_us, and it worked.

Yep. A problem with META-INF. I don't know if it cause a problem with recovery install, but i can't change anything in this zip. So, i give up.

After installing the Asus stock rom, you have to install the new TWRP.

Don't be afraid: usb icon miss now in recovery. It's normal. Use the tuto step by step and it will be fine.
After installing the new recovery, you can directly install the deodexed version.
MD5 is correct, but cannot extract sucessful

It seems that the keyboard.apk and the launcher2.apk are corrupted in this file. Those were the only files that I was unable to get out of the zip. I transferred everything out and used a different keyboard and launcher apk and it seems ok again. Haven't flashed it yet though but the zip corruption errors are gone.
