Oxygen 2.0.1 screan calibration - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

where can i find the screan calibration option in oxygen 2.0.1 ?
thanx

No where, there is no screen calibration. The only thing I can think of is the htc keyboard calibration, which is part of the htc keyboard and not the rom.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium App

so if my screan neads calibration what do i have to do? get a rom that has that option?

Are you sure it needs calibration, cause I don't think it can be done nor needed.

[Q] New desire user... please help me!

Hi, i'm a new desire user coming from wildfire.
The development of desire is very new to me so I need some help with it.. When i bought my desire it was already rooted by the previous owner, so how do I tell which HBOOT version mine is, the CM7 one or the stock one. Next, I was wondering if there was any battery mod that's free similiar to the CirclesMod by Hoolm. Lastly, is it very normal for the battery usage to be about 80% on screen and eveything else under 9% when you check about phone>Battery?
Please help me, thanks in advance~!
1st question. Turn phone off. Restart phone with volume down held and power on. Post everything the screen says.
The screen does usually chew up most of the battery

On my bootloader screen,
Bravo pvt3 ship s-on
Hboot 0.93.0001
So what's this?
And the battery drains so fast that I have to recharge after using 6-6 hours .. I tried calibrated but no difference.

as you are s ON you are on stock one... For battery mod try uot kitchen... Battery drain can be rom related... or Heavy usage?
I'm using stock rooted Rom so I doubt the battery is caused by the Rom.. is it better to use this mod that you recommend or flash a undervolted mod that is provided on the Rooted stock Rom thread page?
And thanks everyone for the advices so far, really appreciate it!

Hi i always go for under-volt as battery is better... so have a look in development which ROM you like.... at the moment im using cool3d sense aces s from coolexe... few modification posted by the other from the thread on top of that...
or try to flash new kernel from snq or bananacakes... they allow you to overclock and undervolt... MAKE BACK UP BEFORE FLASHING
Ok I shall take a look at the various kernels available. I have another problem now, whenever I charge my desire, it will never reach 100%, and only 99% as the maximum. I have calibrated the battery so I'm unsure why do I have this problem..

The one where i tried to charge it till full when powered off then wipe battery stats
99% is a normal issue (from personal experience).
Very rarely, I get it at 98%.
The trick is to unplug your charger, let it sit for a little while (let the percentage go down by 1 or 2) then recharge it. I also recommend you use an AC charger for this as I have found that I usually get this "problem" when charging from a computer.
I managed to solve this 99% glitch by reflashing the entire Rom... So its working fine now.
I was thinking of flashing other roms but seems they require partition of SD card.. I don't have a usb card reader so how can I partition it then?
Sorry I think I have never ending questions..

get a reader?
Swyped from my CM7.1 Desire using XDA Premium App
So means no other way to partition it? Cos I have a built in SD card reader but I can't seem to get it to work with Gparted...
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
You can partition your card in recovery also
Swyped from my CM7.1 Desire using XDA Premium App
Which recovery? I'm using clockworkmod recovery. Is it able to do so?
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
In clockworkmod recovery 5.0.2.0 it is possible, but i guess older versions also should be able to do it also...
But i know for a fact that version 2.5.X.X can't, so if you are using so old version, then you can't...
Flash the latest recovery...

Try putting the sd card into the reader while Gparted is initializing.

Sounds like a hardware problem, have you tried any custom roms to see if they help?
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
try flashing another ROM...will work....
Did you put any other kernel on your phone. I had the same problem when I put manu kernel. if so go to oxygen forum and download a kernel from there that is compatible

In your signature is written that you use LeeDroid Sense rom. If it's like that you shouldn't use Manu's kernel cause it's made for AOSP roms, maybe that's the problem.

you could also try an app called watchdoglite
it alerts you when a certain app uses processing power above a certain threshold.

Mild wild 9.5 lock screen settings

Hi
Been running this Rom for some while now, but I can't seem to find the setting like:
Long press home on lock screen to activate torch
Adding calendars to lock screen
Screen on while loading
These settings I found in mild wild 8 stable, but not in this Rom
Is there also a way to improve the swipe to clear notifications? Worked like a charm on mw8, but on this one I got to try several times before I succeed
Thanks

I'm guessing this is the redux flavour of MildWild. .. there have been so many it may be confusing some. .. like me!

...yes indeed its the Redux version. Didnt have these problems with MW8 Stable....so still thinking of switching back
Use Widgetlocker Lockscreen.

[Q] HTC Desire A8181 G7 Accelerometer not working

Hey forum!
I've recently rooted and installed Cm 10 jelly bean. Since then my accelerometer stopped working.
I dont get any error message but the bubbles dont move on jelly bean or on my NAND Backup.
Does anyone know how to fix this without sending it off to htc?
Also does anyone know where you can calibrate g sensor on jelly bean?
Does it do the same on every rom you try? If yes, then somehow your sensor got broken.
It actually does on most is there any rom I should try?
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda app-developers app
I've never dropped my phone. I tried the akmd method but no luck. People also say I should try wipe rotation data but in my recovery I only have wipe battery stats in advanced but no rotation wipe :/
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda app-developers app
I just got android sensor and turns out my orientation sensor is broken too! Any suggestions?
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda app-developers app
BUMP
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda app-developers app
If it does the same on all roms you try, then it's a hardware problem. Either a cable somehow got disconnected, or your sensors failed.
