elixer app question - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How do you guys see if you are in 3g or 1x? Do you need to purchase the full version?

I just looked in the market there seems to be a free version which looks like it shows signal, data etc. If you're looking for "True" signal why don't you search the market for mobile signal widget. It's great. If this isn't the info you're looking for I apologize.

GPS/ROM question...

So, I think I have read all of the nearly 3000 posts in the ongoing Skyraider thread, and somewhere in the middle a few had mentioned gps issues. I have none of these problems, I was simply curious where one finds out their gps strength and number, etc. I looked everywhere in settings with no luck; I'm sure its something ridiculously obvious....

There does not seem to be an module built into the settings that allows you to look at GPS signal and satellite data, but there are good apps out there.
A fairly good app I've found is GPS Status by EclipSim, a free or donationware (plugin that gets rid of the ads) app available in the Market. The web site is here: http://eclipsim.com/gpsstatus/
Thanks!

I must have this app
I would love this, anyone find it yet?
If it is for android it would probably need permanent root to flash it as a theme and fonts. My friend has a rooted evo and thats all shes been doing is changing up the fonts and stuff. Looks very similar to what ive seen from her screenshots but ive found no way to implement them with temp root.

Search for MXHome, one word. As for the actual mod, I agree with raylusk. Though I can say from the limited amount I saw, I hated it. I'll take another look when someone takes the plunge and buys it but until then I won't lose any sleep thinking about how it might work. I despise the single clock screen with set icons.
Tried it. Aside from the 3D clock, the app list is a bit more structured. If you tap the app icon or slide up from the bottom, it brings up an app list that can be sorted by name, date or category. It looks okay, but it seems pretty limited especially when compared to a shell like LauncherPro.
Tried it. Imo they are trying too hard. Its neat but over the top bloatware.

[App] Pandora new transparent version

I'm planning to make a transparent version of the newest release of Pandora. Can someone do me a favor and post the newest .apk? I really don't want to go through the motions of pulling it while I'm setting all the theming programs up. Thanks. Yes, I'm being lazy about it.
Can this be made EF02 compatible please?
I'll definitely try. Won't it be compatible with any build? I'm just going to be tinkering with the theming.
This sounds great! Thanks for working on this Root. I love the transparent apps.

Whats the scoop on this?

Still working on it. May take a bit of time. First project and want to make sure it goes well. Work and family events have also slowed it.
THX 4 update = I'm gettin' trigger happy
Just so you guys know there is a transparent of it already. It's just the version before the newest and works fine.

Word. After this u should check out tune in radio. A. Its the radio app I use as it handles tons ove trance n dnb stations n podkast. And b. No add spyware that pandora is notorious for. I am hella interested in seeing ur work so post a pic as I will not install pandora on phone unless, and I hope someone can, tell us termenal codes for us root users to stop any mallicious or spyliccious software pandora may run. By stop I mean freeze like I did to some sprint services.

Onavo

Has anyone tried the data monitoring app called Onavo which is free in the market.
I quite like the look of it but would love opinions of it.
Thanks.
