Today i tried switching to swype and it said you trial has ran out, i have version 2.15. So i was wondering what was the latest version.

In order to install a new version of Swype you need to remove the previous version. You may not be able to remove it by going to Settings>Applications>Manage>All Applications as the uninstall button may be greyed out. If you dont have it already get yourself root explorer from the Market (Assuming your phone is rooted) and you will need to remove the swype.apk from System>App and then go to http://www.swypeinc.com/ and sign up for the beta to download swype. I just had to do this the other day as I had the same issue you're having...
I have been using the version that came with our latest update.
I uninstalled it and trying to install the beta getting screen size not supported

Has anyone downloaded the new Flash 10.1.92.8 yet?
Runs smooth on my Dinc, but doing an about:debug and switching my UAString to Desktop, Hulu doesn't want to work.
What will it take to get Hulu running? Anyone heard of an .apk with the latest Flash that will run Hulu properly?

The same patch that fixes audio breaks hulu - that is a known issue.

Application not installed
Hey guys, I'm running Sky Raider vanilla 2.2 with the audio fix patch. When i try to install the new version of flash it says "Applicaton not installed". Anyone with this problem?
I've rebooted the phone and tried again. Tried installing from my SD card and internal storage.

Try uninstalling Flash first, then install the version in your SkyRaider folder.
Uninstalled the skyraider version I had installed and now this version works.
Edit: Does this version break my Hulu app?
The version of flash that enabled us to view hulu in the first place was a modified flash version that projected itself as a Windows version to all websites... (that's how it got around the hulu block).
The original thread was over in the nexus one forums... I have it linked on the hulu/flash app thread over in the applications portion of the inc forums..
Not sure if that same person will be updating it or not, will look into it and ask them.
Is it possible to install Flash player 10.1 on Kaiser with android 2.2.
I tryed with few versions and installation can't be finished...

I believe we lack the kernel support for Flash, which would explain why it cannot be installed, not sure what needs to be done, but I do know that it also does not work on some other android devices, such as G1.
I am actually wondering if it has something to do with the browser. I installed flash for 2.1 successfully, but the browser dies (without fc message) when I tried to launch with it installed. Does anyone know if the officially supported phones have an updated browser? If so we need to get that update and I think we will be good to go.
edit: I also tried the official one, and beta 2, before the 2.1 apk
I installed older version of flash 10.1.61.68 successfully, but now the browser dies.
just uninstall the flash app and your browser will work again
Okay I am not rooted and had a previous swype. I updated to the 2.7 version and it always force closes. How do I update the lib file to make it work?

okay, i'm not sure what happened exactly, but i am guessing you were a beta tester, and updated to 3.70 ota while the beta was still installed.
i'm sorry, but until you root, you are stuck on the ota version
so to get the ota one working again, go to settings, applications, manage, all, swype, and hit uninstall. you should be force closing swype if a promt ever comes up regarding it (happened about 20 times in this process on my moms phone)
then reboot. you are now stuck on swype 2.7

I saw there was an update to swype that solved a lot of issues, like the hidden word popup. Is there any idea of when the one built into the EVO will be updated?
i deleted the stock sprint swype via adb.
i had to change my device over at swype.com, then i downloaded and installed the updated version.
Hello, is anyone else experincing a similar issue of when you try to download and install the Google Music app from the market? Everytime I try to install it it'll tell me the package file was not signed correctly..

If you have the beta version of Google Music installed (the one that came out several months ago) you will have to uninstall that first. It is probably trying to do an update instead of a fresh install and they were probably signed with different keys.
