On the battery indicator which shows lined up right, there is a way of showing the% figure?

Are there any battery indicators like on this picture?
Can someone explain this? before I went to bed my arc was at 97% battery when I woke up it was 100%?
Cellphone battery meters are not that accurate. That is why on "stock", the manufacturers do not put numbers, just icons. No one has "invented" an accurate meter yet that shows exact percentage left. So don't worry about it too much.
If I am correct your percentage is also calculated by the use of your phone, so kind of like when moving a big file in windows, at the start it says two weeks and after a minuut it says 5 min remaining cause the cpu is less stressed
ive also encountered this kind of issue before because i always look at my battery widget. before i use it i look at the battery it was 30+% and then after playing it came back to 42% it was weird..
Base: All stock firmware(rooted) with OEM hardware including OEM battery that came with the phone.
Issue: I observed incorrect battery indicator in the status bar. The battery indicator will remain nearly full for 4-5 hours after its been fully charged. Than it would show drain quickly.
I enabled the percentage battery indicator from settings and it shows correct battery percentage. Battery status indicator is way off from battery percentage value as can be seen by the following images. At 61% battery, the indicator shows it nearly fully charged(around 90%) as seen from the screenshots below.
Has anyone seen this on their phone? Is there any solution/workaround for this?
Mine stays pretty full looking for awhile as well, probably to make us think it's lasting longer then it is. Doesn't look really low til 50 ish.

Mine is the same way

Yes, it stays almost full even when it is around 50%. Just to give us placebo effect? I would prefer accurate status instead of placebo effect.
I wonder if its only 3 of us or I747 specific or all Galaxy S3 models.
It's because of the % increments on the battery image most phones come kiem this stock. Someone will eventually make a mod for 1% incremental decrease.

Hello I have this problem where the stats are wrong(or so I think...). Besides that, I had my phone charged to 100% and after half an hour it got to 70% (guessing it wasn't actually at 100, maybe just a bug). I included a picture.
EDIT: Now the battery appears to be full, screen now consuming 100%. Another weird thing I found is that there is no more charging symbol on the battery icon. I'm still plugged in tho. Included another pic.
Couldn't add the pic, so here goes:
When the battery indicator on left of taskbar shows 20% I put the tab on charge, but the charging indicator shows the battery has having 70%,which indicator is right,i once left the tab on until it said 10% but the charging indicator still said I had 60% left, running Lollipop for the last few days, but it done this when I was running KitKat.Thank You.Longlegs
The battery percentage on the far right is the Samsung battery gauge so i would trust this one, the one on the far left is normally when you install a battery app, they show up on the far left.
John.
Thank you very much John,
