I want to just say thank you all for all the hard work you do that sometimes goes unpaid or even a simple thank you. I want to say thank you for making our phones everything that the corp greed machine doesn't want to work for.

Id like to say thanx to Cyanogen, Drizzy, all other notable people who have optimized Hero as well Cupcake and DONUT...

[Q] How to donate to the Rhodium Android project?

I was just looking for an excuse to do something else instead preparing for exams, and there it was, sound finally working on Touch pro2!
To tell the truth, I've given up hope. I even started looking for a new phone, but never found anything that could compete with Rhodium's features, namely the awesome keyboard.
But I should have known better.
Now it's just down to the opengl driver and camera. Well and BT but I consider BT in any form non functional anyway
Anyway, to show my appreciation for the hard working awesome devs I'd like to donate to the project. How do I go about doing that?

Welcome to the world of free. People still want it to work like devs are getting paid, but not pay anything.

i started with 10$ it's ridiculous i know, i pay more for my lunch each day.
but everyone here downloading hard work for free should consider doing the same. think of it, it's a good way to thank for the work already being done and encourage the guys for continuing if they still want to.
personally, i will continue to donate for each release i download

Hmmmmmmmmmmm this guy wants people to donate to [email protected] ..... i really wonder if he is a developer assisting or if he is trying to rip people off of money belonging to those who deserve it for all of their hard work.

huh? It's the developer (reef). Unless you're sure about something don't make false accusations.

Um, Karan, just posting links to paypal is bad, as lots of people don't hang around here enough to know who the real devs are.
A legit donation page is much more trustworthy.

We're in a developers forum here. People sacrifice their spare time so that other people can profit from it. BTW market apps are mainly cheap and should be considered a little donation to the devs. So nobody here will apreciate your last link

I don't think hurting their feelings is the issue. Stealing always seeks one's own benefit at the expense of your fellow man. Totally selfish and utterly uncool if you ask me.

I'm happy that so many positive people have gathered here help this community to grow. Specialy developers and modders, who are the most important part of this forum. But every user counts. If there would be no regualr users, the develpment would be useless ! And yes I'm a little bit proud, that my effort meant something to other .

Hi qzem,
You are right, BUT.... im working on a full new from scratch rom
Cause i hate it that when you do a restore from Titanium the whole phone is crashing.
So today i want to try a different strategy, and i really hope its gonna work.
And so much thanks to Cow for motivating me, without him i already had given up

ROM is nearly finished, did test it and seems to work right
Runs very smooth and restore from backup is also going to work!
