thanks man,
But http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
That is the kitchen which I have installed. But what the FAQ doesn't say as if I want to create a NAND based ROM for my HTC HD2. Do I just grap an existing NAND rom and use this as base??

Yep, you've got the right kitchen installed. The easiest way is to just grab an existing NAND rom, yes. Are you planning on flashing it via DAF or do you want to apply it as a ZIP ROM via CWM? If so, all you need to do is get unyaffs and extract a system image (from a DAF ROM) or just unzip a ZIP ROM.

We already have those. Fat free froyo, my barebones builds and lastly I think there is a 1.6 donut build out there thats cut down but I am not certain. So they already do exist. If your applications are crashing with 2.2 it could very well be a kernel issue. What kernel are you using?

I would say this is a good idea apart from it's so easy to modify the androidinstall.tar before installing anyway so a guide showing how to do this would be much more usefull then using up bandwidth uploading the same build with a couple of apk applications removed. As long as you have 7-zip editing the build is as easy as :
1) Extracting the system folder from the androidinstall.tar
2) Navigate to the /app folder in the /system folder you have just extracted
3) Delete or add the apk's you don't need / need
4) Right click on the /system folder and compress to a 'tar' archive with 7-zip
5) Rename the archive androidinstall.tar and install like normal.
*Obviously this is only easily possible with un-odexed builds but you can odex again once it is installed anyway

infact even if its still in the .tar you can right click on it and open archive and mess with it from there

Even the standard builds will fit easily on your kaiser. If your using 2.6.25 then any of the non-cyanogenmod roms will work fine. I'd suggest giving fat-free froyo a go if you want a minimalist build.

[ROM][11/11/10][G2/DZ] NO SENSE: 1.22.531.8 HTC Vision Stock with Online Kitchen (r1)

I'm pleased to present my repack of the stock ROM for the HTC Vision! READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU START! No, really, it contains everything you need to know.
Remember that if you use this ROM, you do so entirely at your own risk!!
About MoDaCo stock ROM repacks
Unlike a MCR (MoDaCo Custom ROM) release, a stock ROM repack is as close to the stock ROM as possible. Only root / Superuser and an insecure boot image is added. The benefits of the repack are providing a rollback option in update zip format as well as providing an online kitchen to remove parts that are not required.
A MCR release of this ROM is also available!
Requirements
In order to use this ROM on your device, you must have a custom recovery image installed (Clockwork Mod).
THIS ROM SHOULD RUN ON BOTH THE G2 AND THE DESIRE Z!
Features
Repack of the 1.22.531.8 (OTA) ROM
Pre-rooted with su and Superuser Permissions by ChainsDD
Insecure boot image (ro.secure=0)
Changelog
Please see the post below this one for the changes in each release.
Installation
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card
Upgrading
No wipe is explicitly required in order to use this ROM (unless you are coming from a 'Sense' ROM), however if you do encounter issues of any kind, it is recommended that you wipe your device and reproduce the issue before raising it here.
Downloads
This ROM is now available in the online kitchen - see the post below for details! In addition to the kitchen, a prebaked download is available.

Thanks
It's impossible to mention everyone who contributes to the Android community by name, but to everyone out there who does great work and shares it with us all - you have my gratitude and respect.

Details on how to donate should you wish to do so are in download topic at MoDaCo.
Enjoy!

COOKIN' ROMS LIKE A BOSS
Thanks, Paul. Looking forward to your SenseUI build for American Visions
Works perfectly. Very snappy. Using it with the ROM kitchen is a nice way to customize exactly the ROM you want. I used that to keep my old email.apk that doesn't ask for a alphanumeric password every time I want to use the phone.

Pual, I for the life of me can't seem to get this overclocked. I should be able to overclock this using the steps in the link below correct? Oh, and by the way I love the rom. I used baconbit, which was great until i found out I couldn't use my extended battery on it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=813681
I've done a total wipe and installed your rom and my app with titanium. Here's the link.
I've put the ota ko file in the root of the my sd. And ran the attached .sh files in gscript, but all i get is errors.
Edit: nevermind I see that the OP to the overclocking post no longer supports it. I guess ill have to go with the new kernal and hope it works with extended batteries. Thanks for reading.

Have Fun!
it seems nice... Thanks!
Yet, i have some noob questions about this:
- is this useful to backup / restore entire phone content (kernel, apps, data, config, ...). That is what I am looking for. I tried Rom Manager but it seems that ClockworkMod does not work with the U8150...
- I guess scripts have to be launched from a linux terminal (Ubuntu OK?) after connecting the U8150 with USB? (should I mount it before?)
- User only has to launch Build-bootimg to create a backup?
- and Unpack-bootimg to restore??
- what about Build-ramdisk?
- I guess the tools mkboot* are called by the scripts and do not have to be launched manually, right?
Thanks for your work and help!
Hi, i've croos-compile new kernel with new modules and get new zImage. With this scripts i get new boot.img but when i flash the boot partition (with fastboot) the phone freezes at main screen.HELP!!!
Great post man. I've been looking for this.
Thanks, this is a big help. Compiling the Froyo kernel source from Huawei was easy, but I was pulling my hair out trying to generate a working boot.img. It's pretty confusing that there are so many unpack/extract/split scripts out there...
Thanks to both you and mt2e over at Modaco for doing the hard work on this one.
Thank you
Thanks for Bootbuilder That's too usefull for my project thanks again

bootworkspace is inside the tar file, see:
Code:
[[email protected]: ~/Downloads]$ tar ztf BootBuilder-U8150.tar.gz
BootBuilder-U8150/
BootBuilder-U8150/Tools/
BootBuilder-U8150/Scripts/
BootBuilder-U8150/bootworkspace/
...
...
BootBuilder-U8150/Tools/mkboot/sha.o
BootBuilder-U8150/Tools/mkboot/rsa.h
BootBuilder-U8150/Tools/mkboot/bootimg.h
You have to unzip the tarball and then you'll be able to see the folder. Place your boot.img in there and then you can unpack and repack it using the scripts in the Scripts directory.

[Q] cooking my personal rom

Hi,
I use android from 2 years and now I'd want to start to understand how to cook rom.
In beginning I'd want to try to start from a stock rom and apply to it some personal apps changes.
I have a galaxy gio and galaxy s2.
Could someone tell me if exist a guide or tell me what software needs for cook my rom?
Sorry foe my bad english
there are no guides

Before any rom cooking i personally think is best to learn how to backup you're installed rom. I gues adb program will help ore a nice nandroid backup from cwrecovery.

[SCRIPT FOR STOCK] AutoScripts

AUTOSCRIPTS
Hi Everybody!
That's my first work for the Moto X Play so I hope You'll appreciate it.
It's simply an automatic flash script, just in case You won't have to remember all these shi*ty codes.
It's personally created and tested by me, so I'm sure it works, but I don't assume any responsibility for damaged devices.
!!REMEMBER! I DON'T PROVIDE ANY STOCK ROM!!
My script (as you'll see) works both with Ubuntu (and derivates), Fedora (yes, both with dnf and yum installer) and Windows.
If you have any question/suggest feel free to post it here and if I helped you feel free (too) to hit thank and maybe buy me a coca (I don't really like alchoholic drinks).
HOW TO1) Download it from MY GITHUB PAGE.
2) Put on your Home Folder (or anywhere You want).
3) Unzip it (You'll see a file called flash.sh, for linux users, and some files for windows users).
4) Open a terminal and cd the folder where you have saved flash.sh.
5) Copy the code below (for Linux) or simply double-click on flash.bat (for Windows. It doesn't request administrator privilegies).
Code:
$ chmod +x flash.sh
$ ./flash.sh
6) Follow the instructions on screen.
7) Enjoy.
BUGSAll the Scripts is tested personally by me before any upload so I'm sure they'll work. Anyway if you encounter any problems please post it in bug's tab HERE!
VERSIONSAutoScript Linux
Fixed Wipe and NoWipe options.
Added support for ArchLinux (both with pacman and yaourt)
BugFix
NEW:
1) Added sperimental support for Gentoo linux and other OS's with emerge (I haven't Gentoo so I don't assure it works as expected!)
2) One script for rule 'em all!
AutoScript Windows
Added a script for logcat.
Cleaned the codes on flash.bat.
Added ability to exit the script on any question simply press K.
Fix some bugs and clean code.
Added ability to relock the device
BugFix
F.A.Q.1) Why it doesn't work with device XYZ?
It's because my AutoScripts is developed only for Moto X Play.
2) The Scripts have only formatted my device. You piece of sh*t!!1!11!
Have you downloaded the ROM and put the files on the Flash's folder? You can find it HERE.
3) When do you upload an update?
I'll do it as soon as possible. Don't hassle me with that unuseful quest please.
4) Thank man, your work is fantastic!
Please hit thank button, don't write a post for that.
5) I've read your work and the codes is fuc*ing ugly and long.
I know. If you have a suggestion please tell me and I'll see if i can do anything.

Thanks man! I'll add it to my main script (with proper credits )
I'm uploading the V2 with the script for Windows, thanks to @axxx007xxxz, (I haven't tested if it work 'cause I haven't Windows).
In the script for linux I've also added the possibility to delete (or not) userdata
P.S.
For XT1563 and rooted version expect tomorrow 'cause I'm too busy, sorry
i need unlock the bootloader?
Sorry for my loong absence but I was really busy on the real world. I'm working on a few bugs of my AutoScript (I was missing some codes). I hope @axxx007xxxz will update his Script for Windows soon.
Tried this yesterday, works like a charm, I used the windows script.
@ismatab this script is for people who have unlocked their phone and want to return to stock build. If you have your bootloader locked you can't flash it
Uploading new build. Now you don't need to put your device in bootloader mode before plug it to the PC 'cause the script do it automatically

I'll upload Windows script soon, sorry for the delay.
So right now i have CM13 installed, but would like to go back to stock. I am rooted and have an european version (dual Sim) I am on windows.
If i use the windows script, i just have to follow the instruction ? do i need to download a stock rom first ? is (/XT1562_LUX_RETEU_6.0.1_MPD24.107-52_cid7) the good one ?
It doesnt matter if i loose my data. i would prefer to actually as i want a fresh install.
Will i keep my phone rooted ?
Thanks for the tool and your answers !
Cheers

If you open Download's tab you'll se a file called Stock vX.zip. It contains the stock rom plus the file script.bat. You have simply to double click on it.
For the ROM 6 .0.1 it most be added the system.img_sparsechunk.9 line to the script, also the Stock vX.zip dont say if is compatible with XT1563, the Windows.zip in other comments said this, also, in Windows Zip the ADB is missing.
Anyway, thaks for the script
