Force home in memory - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Android Development

I've activated the "force home in memory" option in cyanogenmod config and since then I've got no more black/white screens; i used to have at least 2/3 white screens or locks during the day, but since I've made this change I got no more hangs... now it's about a week that I have no hangs .
Someone else has experienced this?

Few issues with my Verizon TP2..

Ok, I've had my TP2 for a couple of weeks now and I love it, but there are a few things I wanna get addressed and possibly fixed.
First things first, my phone was originally bought brand new from Verizon. It is now fully flashed to CricKet.
The first thing I wanna know is if there is a way to disable the built in HTC messaging interface. I'm fine with the older style of messaging (like that of the TouchPro 1). The HTC messaging seems slow and sluggish, and aside from accidentally clicking on the text message, I never use it. (Pics 1-4)
Secondly. After texting a message and pressing send, if I hit OK at the top right hand corner, it goes out and back to all my messages and usually hangs for about 40 seconds before I can do anything. Nothing will work. If I hit the end/home hard key, it will just beep, light up, but do nothing. I know when it hangs because it leaves a small part of the message at the top. (See top of pic 5)
Lastly. If I have my phone at the home screen and I get a text message my keyboard opens up on the home screen. Is there a fix or setting for this? Yes, I do have Swype (from the OmniaII), but this was a problem before swype, so I have eliminated Swype as a culprit. (See pic 6)
Oh and I'm running windows 6.5 professional
anyone? help?
This cab may disable the HTC SMS module for you...there's a couple of cabs that can do that (some work with some ROMs), this is the only one I happen to have handy. If it doesn't work for you, you can find others just by searching "disable HTC sms cab"
The attached worked for my keyboard, but mine was only appearing in txt messages, not on the home screen like yours.
I experience that same text at the top of the screen, but mine only lasts for seconds at most. I just reset my phone a couple days back so I only have a couple hundred messages, but even with a couple months worth I never had to wait that long. What are your running ram %s?
Whats the exact ROM you are using?

Updated - [screenshot] - Annoying Lock Screen Issue with 2.07.401.1

Am currently running WWE ROM 2.07.401.1 and what happens is, when the screen is locked and I receive a call, and then end the call either with the hardware button or screed button, the lock screen comes back instantly, but for the part over the bottom menu where it says all people and menu.
If you ignore the call, there is no issue...
There is a good 5-10 second lag before this disappears. Does anyone else have this issue or knows of a fix? (apart from reverting back to an earlier ROM, 1.86.xxx definitely doesn't do this )
Any help would be much appreciated!

Are you using Co0kies Home tab? I noticed with the latest version there were a lot of options for how the screen locked, one of them was to lock when ending a call.
Nope, totally standard
yup I'm having the same issue but i'm running the energy sense 2.5 rom. I was never running sense before this so didnt know if it was a issue with it or what. I disabled all the locking stuff and installed the new pocket sheild that does all the locking by proximity. I pull the phone out of my pocket and it unlocks after a few seconds
It'ss definitely a strange one as it only does it when you press the end call key(s) everything else is fine and refreshes instantly.

[Q] ADW EX issues

I bought the new EX ADW launcher and threw it in CM 6.1.1 before I flashed it. This thing is great, well worth the money and by far the best launcher out there. My main issue though is that for the life of me I can't get my phone to lock now. I can press power and the screen will time out like normal but when I 'unlock' it the screen just comes back on - no lock screen or anything. Even tried setting a pattern and got nothing. Anyone else have this issue or figure out how to fix it? I figure I just did something wrong
The second issue is I can't get my home button to do anything. No previews and it won't take me back to the home screen - in fact aside from vibrating when I touch it, it doesn't work at all. Could it be conflicting with the cyanogen settings or something else?
Any ideas would be appreciated and helpful.

Hmmm...I'm using adw launcher ex and I don't have either of those two problems you mention. I'm running 6.1.1. I'm using lock screen gesture to unlock the phone instead of pattern lock. For me, turning off screen and immediately waking it shows the lock screen. As for your home issue there is a home binding option in the settings, maybe there is your problem? I have mine set to default screen/previews when I press the home button.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Lockscreen issue has to be due to CM because ADW EX doesn't mess with that.
Check the input settings in CM Mod to make sure you don't have the lockscreen disabled.
I ended up re-flashing the ROM and it works now. It does it randomly - the last time it occurred after running a fix permissions, kind of strange. No sure if that's what caused it or not.

[Q] Lock screen and messaging issues

Hey guys,
On my OGP, I have noticed that once I press the side button to unlock the screen, the touch keys light up instantly but the actual screen takes 1-2 seconds to light up after the button press. It may have gotten worse over time, or that may just be me being paranoid. Also, in messaging settings I experimented with messaging skins, and those seemed to lag my messages a lot (like when I clicked on a conversation, it took 2-3 seconds for the conversation to load, whereas before it was instant). When I removed the skin and went back to the default one, the lag still persisted. If anyone knows how to fix these issues, I would be grateful! My device is stock unrooted with value pack update, US AT&T. Only settings I changed was turned on quad core optimization.
Thanks,
killer
Fixed the lock screen lag by removing my dewdrop screen animation. Leaving it at basic drastically increased speeds to easily under a second. Now for the messaging lag...
