Okay so when I turn my phone to landscape mode it takes like 3 full seconds to turn. Also my kernel seems a but slow...and not to mention how do I get that launcherpro zoom effect again? My battery drain is unreasonable considering I'm on wifi..so I appreciate any help btw I'm running myn's warm two point two and I doubt this battery tweak is working.

recalibrate the 'g sensor'.
settings>display> at the bottom
That helped a bit, thanks..but it isn't instant like I see other people with..appreciate the help though.

Just tried every kernel Hydra has to offer and every one put my phone into a bootloop. Had to revert back to stock.
Any tips to get these working?

I just think some phones can take it, and some cant...thats all i can help

I used the OC/UV ov, kernel #2 from Hydra. It was working ok but made my keyboard really laggy.
Sent from my rooted IncrediblÄ™
My keyboard is sometimes laggy but usually really fast. I've isolated the issue to the dictionary, I'm sure if auto suggest was off you wouldn't notice it.
Although, after using it for a day, the keyboard lag seems to have gone. Maybe it was repopulating or something.. no idea in this department.
Edit: these kernels are meant only for froyo

Don't like donations but I enjoy the thanks button.... lol

I'd say go with heyitslou #8, just my two (possibly worthless) cents...
(right now, I'm on AOSP with Tiamat- amazing battery life and gained 10fps in FPSE)
And are all those for power saving? Because i dont want to change the rom. I love it. I can littery watch the batttery deplete... i even tried fully charging and going into recovery and using some shell comands i ffound to help amd nothing. I think its just a heavy rom
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Sorry for double post but were would i find #8?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Go to the link I posted above
Make sure it took you to the first page if it didn't go to it and scroll down till you see heyitslou kernels click on the link under him then go to the front page of his post and you will find it there

Just go to the Development section, and any threads that are kernel threads will have it in the thread name, like [KERNEL]...
Chad, Ziggy471, Lou, are some of my favs just to name a few. For Sense you need a Sense kernel, ASOP needs ASOP, don't flash ASOP to a Sense ROM or vice versa.

Okay so I noticed that even with the Tiamat kernal my battery life hasn't been great. I always see above 60% android system usage. I recently did the "GPS FIX" but I never upgraded my pri or NV. I need some help, I may skipped a step.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I would update all of your radios. Also, I think in settings under privacy, unclick back-up. Also, have you considered turning down how often your phone syncs?
It also could be a rogue app stealing resources... Let's start with my first suggestion, radios are in my Sig.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
Okay this is weird, I turned off background data and now no system use. Is that saying it's a rogue app?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
How many days was it high android use?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
Ever since I flashed the GPS fix but possibly after Google+ app. Either way its at 81% usage.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
It's still high as hell ATM. 77% consumption. I don't understand. Wish I could get some help.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
There is a fix for it you'll have to search for it I only saw it once
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
Someone had a link for me in their sig but they changed it...and I searched to no avail. Sad cause I don't want to ditch cm7 for something so dumb. Just want my GPS to work without having my android system through the roof. Myn's Warm TwoPointTwo is on the other line. -.-
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I had the same problem. Here's the fixes I did before I finally just ditched CM7
I updated my radios (and everything else).
All my syncs were on 4 hour intervals (except weather = 1 hour)
lowered screen brightness
uninstalled facebook, g+ and gVoice (my 3 highest used apps).
rebooted about 6 times
held it wrong
prayed to the gods of android
flashed Synergy RC2
So if you were considering doing those, don't. They aren't the problem.
Ironically, my GPS has never had a problem on any aosp rom (and I've tried darn near all of them), but like you, even with the kernels my stuff just wouldn't work right. I think it has something to do with our phones just not liking the kernel. Give toastch's "godmode" kernel a try or flash back to stock to see if that helps.
Ok so switch kernals or just switch to synergy?

I have a weird problem with my phone. Every so often, my phone wjll vibrate twice, in two really short bursts that arent powerful at all. It is completely random. And whenever im playing music, it will stop the music for 5 seconds. If anyone knows what this is it would be greatly appreciated because this is happening on my new phone, as well as my last two galaxy s 2's (ive gotten 3 replacements)

What apps do you have that give off frequent notification? Do you have facebook, friendcaster, word w/f, etc.? Can you give us a small run down?
you can also download betterbatterystats (free here on XDA) and look at what frequently runs perhaps it appears as a wakelock.
or you can always look at logcat

It's a kernel crash. It's a part of android. It usually happens to let you know that it crashed but android reloads where it last left off. Hence the reason for the gap in music. If you press home immediately after you will catch it trying to finish reloading.

Try running master's kernel cleanser and reinstalling the kernel, that's a place to start

You will have to root first... Unless someone with more experience chimes in with a different idea

Is the same app running every time it happens? It may be a 3rd party app that isn't completely compatible running on your phone. Try deleting any third party widgeta.. then going into your task manager and clearing your memory. Then add one widget at at time til it starts doing it. If it doesn't do it, then open one of your e eryday apps at a time till you have the vibrating again. You may find some crappy lil app that you installed is causing all the problems.

Ill try that thanks

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this or hard about it happening and can tell me why it's doing it and/or how to fix this issue. basically when my phone is turned off and charging if i try to power it on ill feel a quick vibrate and then instead of turning on it just displays the battery charging icon again. it will do that every time until i physically unplug the charger from the phone and then when i press the power button it starts turning on as it normally should.after that i can either plug the charger back in and let it continue to charge or i can just leave it unplugged. if anyone has any info on this irritating issue it would be a great help . thanks

Are you using a custom rom? I think this was an issue with one of em (freegs3 maybe) and the dev hadn't been able to fix it yet. Its been a bit though so I could be wrong on that one.
If you are on a custom rom, search that thread or ask there as well and youll prob get a quicker/better response.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
I've had this happen a few times before. I am running stock rom with trinity kernel. it's pretty weird
sorry I forgot to mention what I was running. this should explain it best.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Yup. FreeGS3. I saw a few people mention this a while back. Dev knows about it and said he will look into it. Haven't seen much about this since but I could have easily overlooked it. Search through that thread for any other info.
