Are there specific locations file for Icons, and music need to be or can I stick them in any directory that I like/Make?

Hi All
sorry if this has been posted before and i have missed it but is there a way to change the folder icons displayed in my programs menu. On some ROMS i have noticed there are different folder icons for folders such as "multimedia" but i have been searching and cant find how to do this myself.

i'm trying to create a theme and i started modding the images but i've found some images in framework-res.apk that i can't locate where they are in the ui
can you tell me what is the purpose of these files? (maybe with an image where they are to be found in the ui)

If you search device/data/app you should find the apk for the inconset/theme.
Copy and paste to a folder on storage and extract the contents, have a dig around the folders and should find the icons.

I've found the soundfile by myself.
I got it from the HtcBlinkFeed.apk.
The file "updating.ogg" is located under /res/raw/
