Did you install it onto fresh or restore it from a titanium (or similar) backup?

1. Dial ##3282# "No need to press call"
2. Choose edit mode
3. Put in password "call sprint and ask for MSL code, or password for ##3282#, they will give it to you"
4. Choose Advanced
5. Change HTTP PD Proxy Port: 0
6. Change HTTP PD Proxy Address: 0.0.0.0

Search market for msl
There is an app rhat pulls your msl code for you instead of calling sprint

[Q] Default EPST values?

Hi, I'm getting really bad reception in my home, it used to be better, and my 3g speeds suck... I'm wanting to get my EPST back to stock as I've tried a number of the hacks including the 0.0.0.0 thingy and I was wondering if there is any way to get these values stock so I can start fresh. Thanks in advance.

Just did, proxy information is still all "0"s
If you get bad reception at home, call Sprint and complain. They'll send you an Airave for free. My signal is bad in my house, I pretty much just called them and told them that & they sent me one. You need to have broadband internet in your home for the Airave to work.
I know it doesn't help your situation, but it'll help your connection at home.
(from... Evo/MIUI/Tapatalk)
Your EPST values will reset when you reflash the ROM. Default values are
HTTP PD PROXY PORT: 8085
HTTP PD PROXY ADDRESS:
pd.vog.sprintpcs.com
So just ##3282# enter your msl and change the values back to the defaults I provided

Go into EPST, Data Profile, hit the menu button and choose restore. Just sit there, your phone will reboot and everything will go back to default.

[Q] MMS Settings Help

I've searched the forums for the answer but can't find it. i want to flash my Sprint E4GT over to the ICS FB21 Rom, and have read the how tos on what to do. They all state that I need to make note of my MMS settings and give you directions where to find it in the phone. Problem...I can't find the setting under "mobile network". Could someone point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
What settings exactly are you looking for? Try going into messaging, hit menu, then settings and see if you find what you're looking for there.

There are some settings that will require you to know your MSL. Are you trying to set the mms server or what?
Its the settings for the mms config. And I'm a bit of a noob....dont know what MSL is.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
The instructions say to go to Wireless and Network > Mobile Network and its supposed to be in there. All I see is the option to turn off/on 3G data.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
There are some settings in the messaging app. Just open it - menu - settings
If you're trying to set the mms server it's using or other things like that type:
Code:
getprop ril.msl
in a terminal emulator and hit enter. That number is your MSL. Now open the phone dialer like you're making a call and dial ##3282# (##data#)
Now select EDIT - OTHERS - MMSC URL (it will ask for your MSL after selecting EDIT - so write that number down)
That will allow you to change the server used for mms messages if you are looking to do that.
Okay thank you. Hopefully this will solve my problem with the mms service not working with the fb21 rom.

While that may be correct, really has nothing to do with apn settings.
While I can't help you on the iPhone. To edit the e4gt apn settings try dialing ##data##. If you know your 6 digit spc/msl you can edit the apn settings in that menu.

Honestly it has been so long that I did that that I don't remember. I sold my epic touch like a year and a half ago.
But this thread should have all the info you need:

Install anycut from play store... Or use a launcher that supports shortcuts... Make a shortcut for settings/apn....
Or open voice command app and say"open apn"

None of my voice command applications recognizes "Open APNs" as a proper command. Is there another way to access APNs on GB 2.3.6 with the People's ROM v 2.22 ?

[Q] GB08 No MMS?

I'm on Boost Mobile, just flashed to Kobridge's Stock GB08 Deodexed with extras. Everything works great! But I cant send MMS. I can receive, but not send. I tried getting my MSL through terminal emulator. I grant SU, type "getprop ril.MSL", then nothing. So I cant get any further to go change things around. Any fix for this? Many thanks!

If you'd like to get your MSL, look in this thread - Acquiring MSL Fix! (For ICS & JB)
Also, once you get your msl, verify your mmsc/apn settings.. here's a starter for you - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31680542&postcount=3

I just went through this last week- call boost and ask for your msl. They didn't ask me what I wanted it for or anything...AND, here's a direct number to a Boost representative I found that works- 877-438-8643 -it's magic. No phone trees or anything.
edit- I guess they don't always want to give out the msl, but they did for me with no problems or questions. Good luck!
Get your msl. Once you have that, open up your phone and dial ##data# and hit edit, enter your msl, then hit others. Change the mmsc url to http://mm.myboostmobile.com and then change the last digit on the proxy from 7 to 1. Then you should be all set

Those are the stock apn settings for each carrier.
Settings > more> mobile networks > access point names.
To check imei.
Settings > about phone> status> imei (anything other than "0" is good)

In one of the things I was searching, a Bell website came up and told me to also set "MMS protocol: WAP 2.0". Do I need to do that?

Still won't send. What network mode should I have? I am currently using GSM/WCDMA preferred. I have two other options:
LTE/WCDMA
LTA/GSM/WCDMA
By the way, I prefer to use 3G because LTE drains my battery I heard. And I can't use 2G because the signal completely disappears.

Select lte/gsm/wcdma and try that. Worry about disabling lte after you can send a text.
Are you using the stock mms or a third party app?
Some third party apps don't play nicely with some Roms

With this problem I have found that I have had to completely delete the APN and then add it back in and reboot. Delete, add it back in manually and then reboot.
You might have to reboot between deleting and re-adding.

I have one labeled "Bell Flex"
APN: inet.bell.ca
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: Same as "Bell" APN
MMS Port: Not set
Can I delete that one?
Not familiar with Bell APN settings but I'm sure they can be googled. I deleted all the APN's in my phone and only added then one I needed.
I believe you can restore defaults at any point as well.
