[LIST] Top Android Games

Hello peeps, i was thinking it would be beneficial if i created a tread where people just post the games they think are the best for the platform both paid and freeee!!
Wanna help me out here?

I found my favorite games to be Angry Birds,Tank Hero, and xconstruct can be fun if you like that kind of thing, then gets boring after you beat it once. All of these games are free.

Angry Birds ->>>> Quite Possibly the best/most addictive game I've played on a mobile platform
Jewels ->>>> Bejeweled Knockoff if you're into the puzzle thing (Free as well)
Tetris ->>>> Call me old school but I can never get enough of this one (goes by Tetronomis on Market, Free)
Kongregate Arcade is also a lot of fun, don't use it regularly but when there is free time, its decent entertainment.

By far the best games to have are...
-Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus ( if you don't have this game you trully aren't seeing what android is capable of. Ridiculous first person shooter)
-Angry birds
-Tank hero
- Super ko boxing 2
- and finally the classic robo defense

dungeon defunders.. works great for me oc at 1.2 ghz.
gun bros.
heavy gunner.. one of my favorites.
modern combat black pegasus as someone already mentioned is waaay sick. =]
need for speed shift..
speedx..
and slide puzzle is fun for when you only have a few minutes to kill..
idk if you would consider this a game. but tripping fest is tight ithink. its really fun to play with and you can make really tight designs. free as well.

I just got my HTC Desire Z yesterday and I am already addicted to:
Angry Birds
and
Cestos 2 ( really nice but hard to explane Multiplayer Game)

id usually be more into light games like doodle jump nd all those really long games usually aren't good on a phone.

NFS: shift
gun bros
meteor blitz (paid, geometry wars clone)
dungeon defenders
gba, snes, genesis emu's (genesis is tigers emu, others are paid yongz's, w/game gripper)
had pocket legends but once u get past the mmo-on-phone wow-ness its lame.

mini-squadron original (paid)
phone is oc'd to 1Ghz, all games run buttery bottom smooth. running enoms official 2.14.2 w/pershoots kernel.

whiskey's got some of my cash
so does cyanogen, well they DID until I switched to samsung that won't drop source. also...
Asphalt 5 rocks. Ninjump is fun. EA's Tetris needs to be mentioned, and Pool Break Pro looks and feels great and u can play online with ur 3g connection.
Cant wait for nullDC.....soul caliber on my phone!

Madden NFL works great

Samurai 2 works perfectly for me. Looks sharp and runs smoothly. You can also add Dungeon Defenders to the 'good' list.

Nova 2 n nfs shift works fine...drag racing looks neat.

But in order to play these games on your SGS2 you need CF3D and the Tegra plugin

Dungeon Defenders works for about 5 minutes but when I get to the 4th wave of Deeper Well it crashes on me. I have uninstalled and redownloaded everything and still the same problem. Anyone else having this happen?

It doesn't crash for me, but it does get crazy hot by that time. I can't play this for more than 5-10 minutes because I'm afraid to damage my phone.

Mine gets insanely hot too. I was thinking it may have something to do with it crashing, maybe a fail safe but I doubt it.

all phones gets hot when they are on 3G/4G or WiFi, or 3D games a lot

Could be a fail safe. Maybe I never gave it a chance to crash by quitting manually.

that used to happen on my MT4G.. it would get insanely hot but it never FC on me

Best games for galaxy s2

Everyone please suggest which are the best games for our galaxy s2. And I also suggest those over clocked to1.5Ghz to comment to let us know whether they can play better performance games than 1.2Ghz users.

Sims Freeplay has amazing graphics and it's free. Also try Modern Combat 3, Sonic 4 episode 1, Anomaly HD, Osmos Hd, Edge Ex, Wind-up Knit is free and an amazing platformer, Blood and Glory. Also you can play if you like with emulators , I have played Diablo 1 for the sake of old times

Landrule ( Risk board game clone ) is rather entertaining.
World of Goo works well.
Still deciding on Zookeeper, the difficulty spike when the bunnies are added is extreme.
RoboDefense kept me busy for ages.
Plants Vs. Zombies is good for quite a while as well.

Really hooket to one game specifically atm

I found wheres my water to lag very badly, playable, but as a high-end PC gamer i am used to 100-200FPS and i found it unplayable at 15-20.
Angry birds lags at later, more complex levels.
Dead space 30fps, runs ok, not too much fun of a game though.
Raging thunder 2 runs great, and actually is a very fun game.
Don't know much about the other though.

You are running CM7.2 Nightly, All the above games work perfectly with m1ndh4x8r's rom.

I encountered a problem with Fruit Ninja, where it would disappear from my phone for no reason and then I would install it again and it would work with all my highscores intact. And just like that, it stopped its 'disappearing' act and all is well now. Ran into this behavior with Wildchild v1.1 ROM!
Just thought I would post it here to let others know and find out why it did that.

Uhh are you talking about just android based games for the xperia play?
Not that great of a selection if you ask me.
But when you include GBA, SNES, N64, PSX, and others, which the xperia play can emulate you get a wide selection to choose from.

The bard's tale is a rpg, other games i would recommend: asphalt 6, 9mm, battlefield 2, modern combat 3, tomb raider, there are tons of good games, might have a look at xperiaplaygamer.net
