Hello everybody I have a HTC TD P3700 my problem is: i tryed many times to build my own custom rom but i always get the same problem!
When i flash the rom on my pda not all the ext package sucessfully install...and the settings icon on the start menù is not present!
I've tried a lot of WM builds, i usually use ervius kitchen but recently i've moved on osKitchen but no success....

Could you tell me if roms ( I am not talking about the extended rom) are the same on the different brands for same PPCs with same language ?
Just want to know this to see if I need only to install the extended rom of another brand on my Compact to test this rom (as I want to test the imate jam rom).

afaik radio & os roms are the same.
They are developed by HTC themselves
To be sure you can check the version & build numbers (build number van only bee checked when installed . . .)
thanks edsub. So if understand to test an imate rom on my mda I need only to to do an hard-reset, then a soft rest before the extended rom installation and then to install manually all the .cab from the imate extended rom ?
please can any one help me i've just had an an htc herm300(t-mobile mda vario II) as a gift but there isn't any OS in it so i need a rom (windows mobile 6) compatible with
i've downloaded several roms but unfortunately no one was the right :S
so if somebody could help me i'll be very gratefull

what do you mean by 'no os'?
basically, you first need to flash Hard-SPL from the Hermes Upgrading thread and afterwards any ROM from this thread.
I'm not sure how you could remove the os from one of our phones.
Try something like the stock at&t rom, just to see if it will flash and get the phone to a working order.
Then you can do hardspl, and flash any hermes rom you like.

sorry but the flashing stops in 1% then the mda automaticly reboots
This ROM was created using my dumped ROM and Diamond ROM Kitchen.
I haven't done any modification, this is just the ROM as it came with my HTC Diamond bought from Claro operator. It's not the newest software for HTC Diamond but it's a good option for those brazilian customers who want to use their phones in brazilian portuguese again after using other ROMs available at this forum. Only ROM, no radio.
I've tested at my HTC Diamond and it worked fine.

Can you help me? I tried to install this Rom from Claro and just after the uptade, my Diamond froze in the first screen (Touch Diamond and radio/Rom version).
Even if i do the hard reset, it freezes again in the boot screen.
So, how could i go back to the Rom i was using before?

I have two solutions, maybe can help you :
1. On your phone: simultaneously press the volume down and reset to get into boot mode.
Once you have managed this, follow the instructions on the screen of your computers with installation of rom.
2. Possibly you do not succeed the first step, obtain a version of HardSPL Diamond, .nbh or ROMUpdateUtility.exe, and running, with the phone connected to PC and in mod boot loader.
Should work, good luck and more attention next time.
No matter which wm6.5 rom i flash my o2 xda orbit with, i go onto sim manager and get the message 'Mobile Errror'. Can anyone help me with this please

I currently installed the great Babbelut ROM WM6.5-28005 v0.3 NLD/WWE to replace my Dheewatara Beta test 1 rom.
There is one problem : HTC Network Wizard is NOT included in this rom.
I downloaded the cab version + also the manual version where you have to put all the files in the windows directory + click on "doubleclick.reg , none of them seem to work.
The error I get is that this program is made for an older windows version and that it may not display properly. But when I click to start, nothing happens at all!
