[Q] Ip Camera Viewer - Windows Phone 7 General

Is there anyone out there that know how to setup IP Camera Viewer. How do I find the ulr for my embedded laptop webcam

Embedded laptop camera's aren't network based and don't have ip addresses. There might be software that can serve the video for you turning it into a network camera but I've never tried doing that before.

use webcamxp

Need something like Teamviewer to my HD (WM)

HiGuyz,
i need some software like Teamviewer to my windows mobile, because i dont have "strong IP" (?) in my desktop, is there any possibility how to connect to my remote desktop from my HD?
Thanks in advance.
You mean Static IP.
You can use a service like www.no-ip.com and then connect to your pc using via remote client on your htc.
Search youtube
I think when you say "strong" IP you mean static, for example, it never changes? If so and you use a half decent router then you could use a service like dyndns. Basically, your router will report back to dyndns if it's IP address changes. Then from your HD via remote desktop you can connect to, as an example, mycomputer.dyndns.org. dyndns has a free service which I use for exactly that. Your router may not support that particular provider but most support one.
Hope that helps
You can Also use hamachi and connect true Remote destkop..

Is there any webcam software that support netcam for PDA/Mobile phone?

Greetings:
My mom has Altzeimer. I would like to install an outside Wi-Fi netcam such that my Dad can watch her, using his PDA and Win Mobile with Wi-Fi capability, from anywhere in the house while she was wandering outside. I have been searching for hours and still unable to locate a webcam software which supports netcam for Window mobile devices (Axim x51v and HTC 8925). Does such software exists? If not, any suggestion to achieve this?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
WebCam
Hi
You can use Webcam XP "webcamxp.com"
with any WebCam (WiFi or USB).
This soft create a Server http in your personal Computer.
After you create a NAT (network adress translation) in your ADSL Box .
and you can watch your Webcam with any Internet Browser (PDA included)
I have try at my home, it works.
Thank you so much for your help.
It would be awsome if I can set this type of software and webcam for my dad. I think that I am kinda techy or may be more of a gadgetry type. I can figure out and troubleshoot hardware and software on most of PCs (friends, home, work etc) problem either by myself or by googling. However, I never venture into NAT, network, http server etc kind of things and wonder how difficult if will be to set this thing up with a router instead of an ADSL box.
By the way, which webcamxp, single, pro, mobile... do you use?
Anyway, I will post my question if I bump into any problem.

[Q] USB tethering MS DirectPlay Issues

Hiho,
I just tryed to play Anno 1602 in LAN mode, what is using MS DirectPlay. And wondered why it doesn't work. Regardless who creates the group. When someone but me creates it, i don't see it and when I create it, others won't find it, either.
Then I viewed the configuration http page of the router to find out what the DHCP server is doing with the MAC of my phone an just recognized that it doesn't have any "name". There is just the MAC, the IP and an empty area after "name".
Even if I search for the IP in the DirectPlay assistent it doesn't find my PC (with USB-tethering Desire).

WebCam

I have an older Galaxy Note 8 that I am trying to use as a webcam to monitor the inside of my home.
I have it connected to my home network and I am running IP Webcam app on it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pas.webcam
I can view the camera from any device that is on my home network but cannot view it remotely (i.e. the grocery store).
I have opened the required ports on my ATT router but still does not work.
I am not sure if the IP Webcam app is even designed to allow remote viewing or not.
Does anyone have experience with this type of thing or can suggest another camera app to try?
Update: Never mind.
I have opened the required ports on my ATT switch yet at the same time does not work.
I don't know whether the IP Webcam application is even intended to permit remote review or not.
learn about port forwarding, plus you need a static IP address (mandatory). if you don't know about these 2 critical elements, you will not be able to remote view. I know this from experience doing the same thing.

A workaround:
Google remote desktop/teamviewer to a computer and view the ipcam stream through there?

Connect ip intranet cam to Internet?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I'm looking for an app so maybe this is the right place?
My ip cams are intranet only. I use Chou's ip cam app to see and record at home as well as D-View Cam. My cams won't connect to DLink.
Is there any Android app that will connect by wifi in my home then export video to me on the Net so.I can see feed when I'm away?
