New Splashscreens for Blackstone - Touch HD Themes and Apps

hello,
I maked 4 new splash screens for the HD. The splash screen is this one with "smart mobility". It must be flashed like a rom but hard reset is not needed. I attached the custom rru needed for the flash and the tutorial (founded here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405118) for anybody who want to make his own splash screen.
Tested with HSPL 1.56 and everything was ok.

Thanks! Works great, the carbon quietly brilliant version is my favourite already, that is how a splash screen should look like :] not that boring smart mobility typed in some random generic font...

this is original screensplash right ?

the "original splash-with smart mobility.zip" is not the original splash screen. This one is from here from the forum and I tested it after I have posted this here. Sorry about that.

Custom Splash screens

I have been looking for splash screens and decided to make one of my own.
I am also looking to remove the red Vodaphone screen when soft resetting if it
is possible. Let me see your custom splash screens and share if you can. I have this one loaded now.
All I did was remove the read only tabs in WM6 on the original file and then copied this file over the old one to the windows directory.
windows/welcomehead.96
Works perfectly! , just need to know how to get rid of the red voda screen.
Thanks
Black Satin
1.51 radio
too much to list
If you're feeling adventurous, there's a "How-To" guide for creating custom splash screens that you can find on MrVanx's website >HERE<.
There was a thread started in the Hermes Mobile 6 forum a while back and people submitted hundreds of example splash screens - >HERE< - not sure if any of them will appeal
Cheers,
Mark.
Thanks thats a big help!
I love my device! after the first rom flash I have been hooked!
Eagerly awaiting the tytn 2

That rising sun is very cool!
Curious why you don't make your own, it's super easy (little harder if you have to have the HTC insert) I have dozens on mine that I whip up in seconds....
I like that start-up image. i'll have 2 try it. I have been using this spalsh. HTC logo white background with animation and a quiet tone. sorry no pic. Can you uninstall the rising sun splash like you can with a cab program if you dont like it?
Stupid newbie question.. How do i install that sun splash screen?

No cab since this is a rom os file... To change you would have to flash another splash over it. More info available in the WIKI.

Rom version for schap's 4.01
Hello !
I'll try to write in english, but it's not an easy thing....
I'm searching for the schap's 4.01 radio version to install it on my hermes device...
Can you tell me the way I'll find it ?
Thank's
Pascal
Schaps 4.01 Lite or Full does not include the radio. if you wish to flash radio files, you may look under here:
Here
All the files that are prefixed as HERM_Radinly_1.xx.xx.xx_CustomRUU.rar are Radio Upgrade files.
Make sure you have HardSPL installed prior to upgrading your device. Fail to do so may give you a bad-blocked radio flash and that means your device CANNOT be bootable at all.
Cheers, and have fun

Change operator bootscreen

Hello,
I flashed my trinity with the Faman rom wich works great.
However, i've still 2 splash screen when i turn on my device with the operator logo.
The first one comes directly when i power on the trinity, then i have the HTC Logo with the sound and right after that, i have one more screen with the operator and finally the screen of the HTC with the faman text at the bottom.
Can anyone tell me how can i change the 2 operator splash screen ?
Thank you in advance,
Regards.

Thank you tnyynt, but that's not this one, this one is ok.
I'm gonna check further but the post you putted above speak about the second splash screen i think wich is also ok for me, i'm looking for the first splash screen and the third one (those with rom version, radio rom version etc...), hope it's a bit more clear.
Thanks anyway, i'm gonna test.

There are a total of 4 screens:
1. MainSplash (ROM)
2. SubSplash (ROM)
3. OS Splash (animated/or not) (a gif file, usually HTC.gif in \windows folder)
4. OS Splash (the welcomehead)
1 and 2 can be changed via a flash, as fktsndr said, pointing you to the thread.
3 and 4 can be changed from within the OS.
Hope I am clearer now!
yeah it's clear, but a bit strange if i check the sequence of my boot
Will test and get back to you.
Thank you

Call to Diamon Rom Devs

Ok I'd like it if one or more rom Developer/Cooker/Chef(Whatever) could assist me in creating a Rom for the HTC Diamond. I'll be attempting to modify the Following;
Boot Splash GFX
Manilla GFX
Media Player GFX
Comm Mgr GFX
Incorporating Tweaks as per other cooks.
I've got the WM6.1 Naked Kitchen but it looks like a hermes rom as it's available on the Hermes Forum.
Has anyone got a Diamond Kitchen?
have a look here
hope it helps
http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=17813065
Cheers
Thanks I just tried to build me a rom from another custom rom but got stuck at the Diamond Splash Screen. Is this because the SPL boot loader is incompatible with that particular rom?
Or is it because I copied to the Memory and flashed via the phone method?
1st time I've tried that method.
I've recovered by going into the standard boot loader and re-flashing using software.
