Hi, I found another old 3d with this problem stated but no solution was indicated.
The problem is that touchscreen reset it's calibration after every reboot of the phone... Don't know why but it's a pain to recalibrate it everytime I reboot my kaisy... anyone know a solution? It's seems like that calibration parameters are not saved when I power off my phone.
I don't have a problem with this... When I calibrate it holds it even after a reboot.
Have you tried going into the Boot Options (Holding down Center button during boot), and selecting Fix Permissions?

Hey everyone, I need some serious help with my phone!
I have launcherPro, but today I started my phone and suddenly I get this error saying that LauncherPro has been unexpectably terminated and that android.process.acore stopped working. I don't know what to do, because it just keeps popping up and I can't do anything with the phone.
I also don't have the 3 keys combo.. I tried to reboot, take out batery, take out SD/SIM card, please I don'T know what to do!
Is there anything I can maybe deleted while my phone is connected to PC? Also, I have USB debugging off atm and I cannot go to menu so I can't use ADB to boot to recovery
Any help is appreciated.
P.S. Since I didn't do any flashing or anything out of the ordinary, I didn't use the 3 button combo fix..
i had the same problem
just hit the 3 button Recovery Mode
then select wipe data
reboot
fixed

yes it wipes out all user data
there's always the heat trick for the non 3 buttons capable
if all else fail go back to the store and have them exchange the phone
I had this problem on my old Hero and only a wipe solved it. Incidentally, it wasn't a LauncherPro issue, more a general Android problem.
if you had adbd (debug mode) running you can start any program (e.g. twlauncher) and therefore easily recover your phone. otherwise i would return the phone ...
I would say, get yourself a hairdryer... Heat the phone up untill it's scary hot... And then try the 3button combo.
If that fails you should rerurn it, as this wasn't your fault at all.
i just flashed beastmod and when i power off the phone ends up rebooting evrytime
i was wondering if anyone has a fix for this...
(yes i searched the forum for answers but they were for diff phones, and the fix didn't work for me, i think the fix may be device specific)
anyone...?
so your phone wont boot? your stuck in a bootloop?
i would recommend reflashing, did u factory reset, format cache, dalvik, fix permissions?
yea i figured out the issue was the kernel i flashed. i flashed faux kernel 6u on beastmod4.2 and this started happening. the issue is when i hold down the power button and select power off it would just reboot, i also selected "reboot into recovery" and it also perform a normal reboot. basically the only way to power off my phone and get into recovery was to pull the battery out

Factory reset can be achieved by holding down volume + power buttons at the same time.

You don't know what adb is,? Android debug bridge. Google search adb and you should get everything you need.
Hi All. I am trying to fix a phone that is stuck on the LG boot screen. I have tried to put the phone into recovery via the volume- and power buttons. I get to the screen that says delete all user data and I press yes and get to the second screen to reconfirm the delete. I press yes and nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try next? I want to reset this phone for my friends son. I suspect he might have over heated it playng games. Thanks in advance.

Mine had this issue also
Hi folks.
I am looking for some help in recovering my phone. My phone was fine till a couple of days back, all of a sudden i see that it is at "Phone is starting" phase for days now. I am on Android 11.
What i have tried so far:
1. Rebooted
2. Wiped cache and rebooted
3. On boot menu, tried repair apps
None of it is helping. Not sure whats going on. Is there hope?
Try a factory reset... you'll lose all data which you hopefully backed up before this.
It maybe malware, a software issue or a hardware failure.
Is there anything else that can be tried without factory reset?

If you can repair what's causing the boot loop if it's not hardware related.
That's beyond my knowledge limits.
See if you can boot into safe mode.
The 2 times my N10+ boot looped on me because of a buggy launcher after a few boot attempts it automatically defaulted to safe mode.

Well, i have tried safe mode and it ends in the same state as "Phone is starting". The phone starting phase comes after my fingerprint is authenticated, ie phone is up and when i login, it goes to this state. I can access the top menu, and go to the settings, cannot launch any apps though.

Try booting it plugged into the charger.
At this point I would have done a factory reset especially if I didn't know what caused it.

Connect phone with pc and set it into Download mode: as soon as the device is in Download mode, this issue will be fixed automatically. You should not remove the device or use it until the fixing process gets over, else the device can get bricked. After the fixing process is over, the device will restart, fixing all the issues.

What should i do after i go into the download mode?
I have the same issue, did you find a fix?
I already have this issue. i just turn off the 'Power Saving' And it be back to normal, welcome
I'm stuck in the same situation, only i cannot turn off "Power saving" via the shortcut (no reaction at all but all other setting buttons function) and when opening "Battery and Device care" settings closes and back to "Phone is starting".
Also connecting via usb in "Download mode" makes no difference whatsoever... I'm at a los because I'd rather not factory reset because of loss of data...
Any more things I could try by any chance?
Thx a lot!!

Boot into safe mode. If you can first backup your critical data which should have already been done. Then try to correct the fault. If this works it's likely a 3rd party app.
Thx Blackhawk but safe mode doesn't make the smartphone startup and is also stuck on "Phone is starting". I know backup's should of been taken but it's the phone of one of my daughters (and yes kids don't always do as they're told) so I might as well dig my own grave if I reset the phone
On the other hand, this might learn them a valuable lesson
Any other tips/tricks someone?
