Anyone use RSS feeds for the XDA forums in Google Reader (or another rss reader)?
For some reason, when I copy the thread URL, for example:
Epic 4G Android Development
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=716
into Google Reader, it picks up ALL xda posts.. instead of the new posts to the Epic Android Development section.
is there any way you know of to do this?
Just tried with the link and a search... it appears that the entire XDA thread appears and not by subject or sub forum

Hi, I'm sure this has been asked already but can't find an answer. Whats the point/benefit in using xda-app over just tapatalk? I saw in the demo video that it was developed with help from the tapatalk team.. what's the connection?

Tapatalk is a paid app if you want the one that can post. XDA app is free to download and use
If you have the paid app, there is little benefit of the XDA one over the tapatalk one just now, though the portal is accessible via RSS in the XDA app from the "more" tab iirc
Good answer, thanks

Thanks - another gem regarding the "more" tab.

Would someone please sort the forum list of devices? It's messy as hell with no coherent order. It needs to be in alphabetical order.

On the website, you can use the compact view to sort fora alphabetically by OEM. I use it everyday.
I just found an app and it is awesome.
To give credits to me , i am linking to my forum about the app http://www.forumhookers.com/topic/5...m-your-android-and-iphone-crowdcall/#entry300
I'm sorry but I've gotta say this...
Link Building much?
Can't seem to report threads in the mobile app. Guess I'll have to use my desktop.

It's not cool for you to use XDA to spam links back to your own site. You're using them for free advertising.
If it's an App that you can get in the Play Market then link directly to that page, not to a link of a link of a link on someones forum!
Besides, all outbound links on XDA are No Follow links but still...

I have to say, instead of linking to a post of you in your own site, you could just post here.
Hi, I like this site. Does it have an api so I can write an app for it?

No I do not believe there is any api, the portal has a rss but the forum uses tapatalk and has its own app
I don't think so. Contact the admins if you wanna make an app for XDA. Btw, it already has one.

Looks like I have to decompile this tapatalk app *^* I actually wanted to search this site for topics by keywords like google would
O wait. Apologies. I found this app has a search function. Kudos to the developer
Hello,
I just wanted to report a bug recently found in the xda premium app. Every time I want to read my PMs, the app crashes. In Tapatalk, this works perfectly. Why?

Hi,
It might be better to post bugs etc in the dedicated XDA App Thread.
