Hi, When I got CyanogenMod 7 I found a setting where I could change what toggle icons showed up on top of the notifications dropdown (WiFi, Sound, brightness, 3G and orientation changing toggles etc.), now for the life of me I can't find this setting?
Using CM7 stable on the normal HTC Wildfire
I think it's under interface.
Not sure right now, I can't check atm
Settings > Cyanogenmod Settings > Interface > Notification Power Widget
Anybody know if it's possible to add power control buttons in notification menu? I'm running kings alliance hybrid 3d rom. I really like this rom but would like to add the power control widgets from evozone hd rom. They are the ones that are in hd color. Appreciate any help
Does anyone know if there is any tweak/mod for cm10 which would enable the stock phone statusbar to be switched to the bottom of the phone and reversed (so you have to pull up from the bottom of the screen)?
Or even if there is a way to move the cm10 toggles to just above the carrier label at the bottom of the notification bar when expanded?
Maybe you should try ParanoidAndroid with tablet mode?

Nova launcher Pro has gestures which you can modify to whatever shortcut you want. Including what you have asked about.
@maniacaus i think he means throughout the phone not for the launcher. and yeah ontzaboy is correct, paranoidandroid with tablet will do the trick.
I installed CM10 M2 yesterday and it's amazing and seems very stable so far. But there are a few things I miss about the stock ROM.
1.) The slider lockscreen were you can have the slider with the quick shortcuts and weather and then you get the security screen. Is there anyway to have both on CM without using an app like widget locker. I will be happy to have the default google/CM slider screen
2.) Stay awake, any good apps in the play store?
3.) The notification bar, in stock if you swipe your finger from the top of the screen in a full screen app (like when playing a game or watching a movie) it would bring up the notification bar for a few seconds within the app. This was very handy to have and hope an app can bring this back or a CM mod.

Hi there,
There are some mods that makes us choose a rom hoping we will be getting also a good battery life at the same time. My mods are:
Navigation bar button order
2g, sound, torch, data in tiles
Screenshot on power menu
T9 dialer
Volume wake
Center clock
Share your deciding mod list.
Cheers
PIE
Theme chooser
Want good battery? Just use stock with a custom kernel like Fugu.
Customizable nav bar(option to keep a power button) , this along with slide to awake makes it a totally button free experience
Expanded volume mod
Option to kill all apps in the recent apps menu
Battery percentage

Notification toggles is usually the only thing I really "demand".
I like weather (lock screen and notifications). AOKP like (not the cheesy CM icons).

My reasons why many mod's are senseless to me:
Navigation bar button order - Stock's fine, doesn't bother me. If anything, it may take a while getting used to the order. Then again the same applies if you reorder them.
2g, sound, torch, data in tiles - Thats pretty much a given. Aren't these stock anyways?
Screenshot on power menu - Not necessary. Vol - plus Power
T9 dialer - Again, not a mod?
Volume wake - Don't want my phone doing funny things whilst in my pocket
Center clock- Its nice, not essential though. Covers up some of the notifications
PIE - In my experience, quite laggy, bogs down the headset. The extended screen is nice though, but the laggyness is a deal-breaker. Whatever happened to project butter? (Again, these are my experiences, your's may differ)
Theme chooser - Most themes aren't fully polished and add a sort of tackiness to the UI
Battery percentage - Keeps me from checking my battery life every 5 minutes.
Quick settings/tiles/whatever - Stock, not really a "mod"
I dislike having a myriad of MOD's on my phone. It brings me nothing but issues with laggyness and unresponsiveness. I just want the essential, fast, smooth, and stable.
PA's hybrid settings are a must for me. I think PA's colors stops a lot of my screen burn. If I could ever get touch to wake to work the way I wanted, that would be a must (but that's more of a kernel feature.)

For me, the fact that a ROM is built with linaro toolchain is important. My phone has never been so fast. Using Purity with AK kernel.
I just back to stock because afaik its the most stable and smooth and that's very important to me. I do miss some features like the quick toggles and the extended power menu.

For toggles, just install Notification Toggle. I've been using it on the stock ROM since ICS. Change the icons to the SquareGlassJellybean ones and it fits in the JB style perfectly.
