Have anyone had experiences / successfully connected their Desire to the Logitech MX5500 Bluetooth keyboard?
I know you can connect its smaller dinovo mini cousin but i couldn't seem to find anything regarding the MX5500.
When i try, it appears that the device is successfully paired but... after pairing my phone's status on the connection is "paired but not connected" and my keyboard will constantly flash "connecting"
Any ideas?
Hi i've solved myproblem.
Downloaded a third party app called "bluekeyboard JP", seems that although the desire is able to pair with the keyboard. it does not have the drivers to use it.

I've searched for this issue on the forums but can't find anything that addresses my particular problem. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or suggestions.
I'm running CM 7.1.0 stable on my HTC Desire GSM and all is well - all except bluetooth. I don't seem to be able to pair with any devices.
The particular device I'm trying to pair with at present is a PLT BB903+ headset. I know the device works fine since I was able to pair with it when I was running stock Sense and I can pair with it using my wife's BlackBerry without any issues.
The device always appears in my list of found devices, whether it's in pairing mode or not, and even if it's switched off. I've wiped my Bluetooth pairing data using Titanium Backup but it still appears there as "Paired but not connected". Trying to connect fails but no error message appears. Unpairing then repairing has the same result - failure, no error message, and the next time I scan for devices it still appears as "Paired but not connected".
I've installed "Bluetooth File Transfer" from the Market as suggested elsewhere. When I attempt to pair using this I get the message "Pairing operation was aborted by user".
Any thoughts? Anyone had similar issues, resolved or otherwise?

There sometimes is a Reset-Button on under the Panel. Take it off and see if there is something.
i`m on 7.1.0 and my bluetooth works fine pairing with an alpine CDE-133BT.
But i have a different Issue:
a crackling and swishing noise in the background as soon as the bluetooth-channel opens for a2dp... with loud music it`s not hearable but with soft and quiet music it`s so annoying!
tried cm7 stock kernel, different Manu`s and Tiamat`s and i flashed the latest Radio... I think i try a different ROM... let`s see...

Having an issue with my bluetooth connections after updating to 4.3, anyone else having this problem?
When I try and connect to anything I get "Cannot communicate with xxxx", tried it with my car, my roku, and my laptop and got the same error across the board. Tried a factory reset and got same results....
Is this a known issue?

Hi Taxik,
No, it seems that the app was dependent on some feature that only older androids had available. Anyway don't despair, Xiaomi has already announced that it will make android 10 available for Xiaomi mi 9 SE device in January 2020. If you don't know, android 10 will come with native support for the control just by connecting via bluetooth with full compatibility! :highfive:
oh thats sound great! Really even with Bluetooth? Is it for PS3 Controller or only for PS4? I know its possible to use controller with USB OTG, but at the moment i don't have USB (type C) OTG cable and of course wireless option is much better.

Yes, you only will need a Bluetooth connection to pair you controller with your device, currently, when you connect the control via bluetooth or OTG, the commands are delayed and inaccurate. About the PS3 control, I have no concrete information, but it is quite likely that it will work as well. For now, I know about the PS4, XBOX One and Switch Pro controllers.

Just put the dualshock 3 in pairing mode, look for the control in the cell phone's bluetooth list, "Wireless Controller", and finally, this is how the dualshock 4 is connected. However, I researched a little here about dualshock 3 on android, and it looks like it wasn't as simple as the PS4, I think you'll have to do a little research. Hello, I want my car to say a welcome message by tasker Via voice, as soon as my phone connect the vehicle via bluetooth. However, although my phone is connected, tasker sees Bluetooth connections as closed and returns with an error like this. "sorry no data available on paired bt devices."
How do I get Tasker to detect that bluetooth is turned on.
