I only use yahoo so this is perfect for me, I've been waiting for this app for months! Amazing
There is also yahoo mail, but how to use stop the mail app from synchronizing? I don't want it to check the servers all the time... and give me notifications.
I've never been a fan of yahoo mail.. email ends @ gmail imo.
The messenger app works great tho, well happy with that. I'm sure there'll be bug fixes to come, but for now I've not had any problems.
zonkkk you could email yahoo and ask them, I'm sure the devs would be interested since this is yahoos first major Android implimentation
Hey all,
I watched all the videos/read all the reviews, and I couldn't find my answer.
We know that the "What's new" feed in both People and Pictures aggregates facebook stuff, but what about Facebook Inbox? What about notifications?
Could some one enligthen me?

I like the inbox idea. That would be useful. But the rumour was that FB was developing 'Project Titan' a mail app to become more email like, so perhaps integration would come when FB updates this.
As an aside, I know MS has a 5% stake in FB, but too much integration might be too much if another Social Network becomes popular quickly (akin to FB killing My Space).
Somehow I don't see that happening, Facebook is here to stay,Myspace was too late to change the game when FB came along. FB is now akin to Google in the sense its here to stay or at least imo.

??? It is integrated into WP7 however not all of the Facebook features fit into the WP7 model. For those things, you'll have to jump into a facebook app. Maybe they'll be able to integrate with the various hubs (namely people) so that you could, for example, hit a button to send a FB message to someone and it would open the facebook app directly to do that?

Actually, I can see the FB inbox happening (has another tile with, kinda like Gmail, Outlook and WL Mail). As for notifications, they could drop from the top, like for Messaging...
What about Facebook friends requests ? I don't know how it would fit into WP7 model, i guess the FB app will be needed at some point
To have all the options of FB you'd have to use app anyway..
That's why I hate all those default integrations.
Let's make Microsoft to make this little but handy thing! To make them to put Google+ in their People Hub for wp7, for all of us who migrated from FB to G+ and for all of you who using both of them.

i just think it would be great to have G+ there, since I really hate FB and G+ have bigger chances than any other social network. They have linkedIN, for God sake!

i think there is all of one person in my google+ timeline who just keeps on beating the dead horse that it already is and trying to make it relevant.

Well, I have many people in G+, and he has intense of growing each day more and more. I mean, Google knows what he is doing. And whatever he's doing it's usually good thing.
Microsoft have shares in Facebook. They're unlikely to integrate a competing product.
But I would like it if there was a way to add custom services into the people hub, rather than being restricted to the most popular services.
It would also be nice to have G+ on the share list for when you take pictures etc

In the last week most of the Organizations I follow have set themselves up on G+ now that pages are supported. Starting to come to life
Bought this phone after loosing my Optimus 3D, loving it.
Few issues to sort out, one is why is the no info/updates at all from facebook in friend stream. Under the contacts tab I only get Twitter updates. Yet when clicking on the photos tab all their facebook albums come up. Also in the lock screen friend strream again only Twitter.
Any help appreciated.
P.s. anyway to have google + updates in friend stream?

Isn't it there already?
I'm not with my phone, so can't check - however, i know the friend stream widget 'definitely' shows both Facebook & Twitter posts.
Edit: I've just checked the friend stream app too, it shows both Facebook and twitter.

Make sure its set to All Networks at the top of the friend stream app.
Make sure you have the Facebook live feed sync enabled in auto-sync.

Simple, you will have a lot more twitter feeds than Facebook so the twitter feeds are basically over crowding Facebook! I had this problem so I just switched twitter off

Lol I think you're right, that and for whatever reason when you fist setup Twitter feeds get backdated but facebook only get new updates.
Anyone know if google plus can be integrated, like sparks and posts?
Chatting applications are becoming so trendy these days. Many use Whatsapp, BBM, ChatOn, Nimbuzz. Heard the launch of WeChat.
This a quite a big competition to Whatsapp as its has more features which are amazing and those are animated! Thats awesome. But in India, there are more Whatsapp users compared to WeChat. But I think WeChat can take over Whatsapp users in India as its more easy with amazing features. What are your views?

Anyway,i think atm for me,is better Whatsapp but it's correct what you wrote: all change depending in which country you live

Here in Sweden both WhatsApp and Viber are quite big. I prefer WhatsApp over Viber, but that's just my opinion.
With Viber you can choose to chat or talk to the other person via the phone. That possibility is not available in WhatsApp yet.
Have to check out WeChat though!

Thanks for mentioning this, didn't know about it till today. I downloaded the app and i must say i'm really impressed, way better than whatsapp in my opinion.
wechat is awesome, it started off in china, but its features are sooo awesome that now its going global. and if u guys havent tried the qq chatting platform on pc and mac, u are missing out. if floors competition like gtalk, and skype and every other thing out there. just search for qq international and try it, its AWESOME

i use wechat and qq. here's my problem though. everytime i do a search for my qq friends on wechat, it says user not found. also, when my friends log into wechat through facebook, and send me messages, i cant get the messages on qq. for those of you who dont know, wechat and qq are made by the same company, and you are supposed to be able to cross-chat. also, when i log into wechat, it requires a captcha verification, and it always says server busy, so i cant log in. can someone at tencent please fix this.
