No GPS on RC4?

Exactly what title says. Its not that I'm not getting a GPS fix, its that it doesn't seem to be working at all. There's no icon in the status bar or anything.

Flash gingerbread radio from the develop section. That fixed mine

Don't flash a radio.. I had the same problem so I flashed back my stock nandroid and then flashed cm7. To be honest you should google the ultimate droid rom for this and get that...super fast and almost as responsive(though some fanboys are going to try and argue that statement I'm sure) as ios. Or flash the stock gingerbread htc rom that was released last week or so

[Q] oxygen gingerbread friendly data switcher

Folks.
Just curious to know if anyone has found an app that will switch off wireless apn data when the screen is off.
I'm currently on oxygen gingerbread rom.

Black ice rom data connectivity issue.

I installed this rom and like it. However the data connection seems to disappear alot and wont reconnect unless I restart the phone. Any one had a similar problem ?

change the apn setting.

Are you running lordmod bfs kernel. If so switch to cfs. This is an issue a few ppl have with bfs. Haven't been able to pinpoint it,as it occurrs randomly. I have on cm nightlies but not blackice which is based on cm

I was actually getting this with the CFS kernel, but not very often, and I thought it might have been because of my carrier, so I didn't report it in the blackice thread.
I don't have much to offer except to say you can save yourself a reboot by just toggling 2G/3G data on and off - this gets my connection back every time. I added it to my power widget for quick access
Also I haven't had the problem yet in the latest stable version, are you using that version now?

Yeah I'm using the latest. It isn't happening as often as it did on 1.22. Not sure what the answer is really.

Hey, I have the same problem with the latest BlackIce Rom, and it is using the CFS kernel. I also can not turn it on/off by toggling 3G. Any idea what it could be?

try changing the RIL
there are 4 included in the rom and it's easy to change between them using ICETool

[Q] mic gain

i've noticed when running cm7.2 and record with voice recorder play back can hardly be heard, but on a ics rom it it perfect. anyone know how to get more from the mic on cm7?

What kernal are you using? I'm using aero's 10.5 on the latest nightly CM7 and it works great.

I have a vzw htc one with cm nightly installed.
Android version 4.4.2, CM version 11-20140105 nightly.
I'm running into issues..
-Speakers only top works.
-Random restarts occur, even while browsing internet.
-Dsp Equalizer doesn't work, Beats audio settings are gone.
-very low or poor 4G LTE signal. My s3 gets 3 bars at home. Thr htc one gets 1 bar 4g to 3g.
Need some advice on what to do. Reset? Return to stock?
Anybody help? Total noob to rooting. Bought the phone off swappa..

Try switching to a Sense based rom. They're made for this phone so they run super smooth with few issues.

Could you refer Me to a sense rom? For the htc one?
Also a tutorial on how to install it? Phone came already with s-off and cm mod. Don't know how to revert.
