[Q] where are my original icons? - G2 and Desire Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I bought the device, I installed the app "es explorer". The app could show me the .apk's original icons. But now, it can't show me the icons,instead of the same green android icon. I paste the picture followed.

I basically wanted to remove these bars marked in the picture but I can not find the correct pngs and XMLS.I'm using CM9.

I have to click on the native photo icon to view each photo.is there a fix?
What does that mean? Fix for what?

Think its from some installed app. I never seen it in any system files before, as i check them out a lot while theming.
