just an idea
not sure if its possible, I dont see why not we are talking the incredible here.
Im thinking about working on a battery icon that is fully animated
and using the sensors on the phone so you can have a liquid filled battery icon
that the liquid moves with the sensors on the phone with the battery percentage in the liquid.
what do you guys think could it work
good idea
bad idea
Im a graphic designer not much of a programmer so if i were to do it i would need
a lot of help
let me know what you guys think
lol, not that we really need anything more eating up our precious battery
does anyone have the circular battery mod that was in this rom. i loved the battery, but the rom is still a little to buggy for my tastes
I always set my apps to black/dark theme if available.
But maybe this doesnt have any impact on battery life at all and black LEDs still need power?

You do it right, go on setting dark theme because it really helps (i don't know how much but helps) saving battery since in oled screen the led are completely off top get the black colour AFAIK.
Nexus s user/dev bedalus had An epic battery life thread that I'm sure you could find if you googled it (on my phone otherwise I'd post the link). White uses the most battery. Black the least. The most interesting results showed that red used less power than the other colors, so a black/red theme would be best for battery.

Hello guys im not a dev nir anything close but I know a few things. Anyways one thing that was driving me crazy was the insane battery drop between 4.2.2 and 4.3 I was reading and doing some test and I came to one conclusion...
So most of the noticeable change is that the screen is using way more battery in 4.3 than 4.2.2! So I did some research and samsung made some updates to the screen drivers I believe to make the colors look better, more vibrant etc. In my opinion this has to be the cause of the screen sucking up so much battery. But that wasnt enough for me. I had to do some testing. One day I used my phone normallly with white background and colorful icons etc. The next day I used a black background with less vibrant icons. And WOW the battery icon changed dramatically! YESS I know our screen uses less battery in amoled screen. But it qas never fhis big of a difference between a black and white background. Again this are just my thoughts and opinions. Thanks ? Have a great day.

I'm no dev, either, but I recently posted this:

I really go with black because I like the way it looks, but I also figured it could possibly help battery life. Nice to hear some real-world usage back the idea up.
