please help anyone as soon as i turn off my device instead of turning off it goes to recovery mode and when i choose reboot system it comes back to the rom!!! anyone any ideas?? someone having same problems ??? please help and yes i already tried by taking out the batteries, as soon as i put the charger on it goes back to recovery mode, i want this problem to be fixed cause i don't want my phone's screen to be on the whole night cause i put it on charging the whole night so it may damage or something, cause in recovery mode the light and screen stays on forever!!
thank you

try to reflash ur rom and reflash ur recovery image
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App

thank you for ur response, but i also tried that too !!

if you shut off the phone while it is unplugged does it stay off? and are you using Clockworkmod recovery? If so this is a bug with the recovery and at this point cannot be fixed unless you flash the stock recovery that uses test-keys instead of release-keys.

HELP

Alright I need some major help here guys. I flashed tasks 02/20 Rom and about a day using it, I was just about to go to bed, when my phone shut off randomly. Now it won't stay on, it will boot only to the samsung screen, and then it shuts off. Even in downloading mode, it won't even stay on long enough for me to try and re-flash back to stock. Any suggestions .. ? It's not a bootloop, I know what that is. Its it the battery .. I've had this before but the phone was able to stay on long enough for me to flash an emergency stock zip

[Q] Help - There is something wrong with my Phone!

Hi XDA Forums,
I have a problem with my Note 2 for some reason.
Let me explain you what is wrong with my Note 2
I was sitting down and watching a movie, my phone was right next to me, The phone randomly turned off and after couple of second it had turned back on. It had showed the first every screen when you turn it on "Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100". Now from there it keeps on looping the same screen over and over again.
I had done some research before opening this thread, I saw that some people said I should try factory resetting it from the recovery mode, I then tried going on the recovery mode, it was not successful, it had showed me the same "Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100" screen and then repeated to boot loop it self again, I tried going on the recovery a couple of times but it didn't let me go on it.
Next I had then downloaded the 4.1.2 Official Firmware from SamMobile to flash it to stock again, I had then tried going on the Download Mode, It goes to the screen for Download Mode, but when I try pressing up to continue from the warning message it had then rebooted it itself and made it self stuck on the screen again.
Basically, my phone is stuck on boot loop, It does not let me access the recovery mode and it also does not let me access download mode.
ROM Using: Tigra_RomV3 4.3 Based ROM
Kernel Used: The Kernel which comes with the ROM or Stock, I didn't change the kernel myself.
If there is a internal problem does that mean I wont get help from the Warranty because the phone was rooted?
hello,
just try to use the jig, it should work...
use it so your phone will be in download mode, then flash your rom
Do you NANDROID backup? Maybe you may restore it by custom recovery.
Second, remove the battery first for a while and retry to access the RECOVERY and DOWNLOAD mode. If not, try the suggestion up there.

[Q] hard brick s2

If any one can help with any idea I would really appreciate it.
So I let my little brother play my s2 and he completely ran the battery out.
now I have left it on the charger over night, when i go to boot into recovery. You feel the phone vibrate then see the samsung for a split second, and if you keep holding the power you just feel the phone keep vibrating. The screen never turns back on. Now I know it works because i was able to boot recovery once, when i did that i just tried a full wipe and reboot. phone kept boot looping, so i pulled battery, but now i cant get into download mode or recovery.
Please help, or atleast let me know that its not fixable
thanks
You are supposed to let go of power after the first vibration. ?
Try downloading a stock ROM (.tar format, I believe) and flashing it, using ODIN. That worked for me when I bricked my SGH-T989.
I later had to install a new recovery, but you can play around and see what needs doing.

Help !! Desire 816 stuck during root.. Please Help

Im stuck during root.. I did the bootloader unlock.. and when I was loading the recovery in softboot mode, it was done, after that when i booted in hard boot, I think probably (I'm not sure) my data cable might unplugged for a while.. after this my cell got stuck and back light of the cell was on.. And it was stuck.. After that battery got drained and phone is dead now.. what to do Im so much worried now.. Please help..
How to charge and switch the mobile to normal state?? cause its not charging with charger now, charging light keep on blinking..
So Im out of this misery now, I have managed to reboot my device via adb, and its working but now when I enter into recovery mode, it just shows a black screen, it does not give any option to select zip file, I have already put in the root of device.. How can this be solved??
If you have CWM recovery here is a alternate way -----> when I had flashed CWM recovery it was showing me black screen as u see. I don't know how to solve that. but you can flash TWRP recovery. I have successfully overwritten TWRP recovery over CWM...!!!!

Bizzare Issue on HTC

Hi guys
I seem to have an incredibly weird issue on my HTC. It is rooted and running DU 6.0.1.
For some reason, despite the battery being 60%+, whenever I unplug my phone from power it just switches off. If I try to reboot it/go to recovery, it starts up for a second and goes off. However, it seems to function normally when it is plugged in via usb. I can access recovery as well. I have tried to reflash as well as a full wipe, but nothing seems to work.
Im thinking something went wrong with the boot.img maybe ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe its a stupid inquiry but does battery work as it should in stock rom? so that you can be absolutely sure its not faulty battery that's creating issues.because two things happen(in my experience when something goes wrong with boot.img) either its stuck at splash screen (hboot) with red text OR it goes blank but not off, just blank
Definitely isnt the battery. I am not experiencing any drain and it functions completely normally when plugged it. When I unplug, it works fine for a few min and then switches off. It will then not turn on, despite it showing 90%+ when I plug it in
but it happens in stock rom also? thats what i wanted to know .if you can full wipe and phone works when connected to usb, maybe you can run ruu and confirm that as well . If you can go to recovery ,make a nandroid backup.and try a ruu.
Yup, happens on stock as well.
Also, I think the recovery is messed up as well since it just crashes now when trying to flash something. It's having issues doing a nanroid backup as well
And no love for exe ruu as well?
