Got my Omnia 7 on t-mobile last week, and my old number transferred over two days ago.
I've restarted the phone, and updated all my settings, but in the Settings/Phone section, it still lists the SIMs original phone number (which is now inactive).
Anyone got a clue here?

About 750 emails from the past 3 weeks suddenly reappeared not just on the DHD but also on my other computers (they were presumably reloaded from the server). That included valid emails as well as spam emails. This is a business email account and it is downloaded by 3 other PCs as well as on the DHD so it's a considerable amount of work to identify the duplicates and delete them.
This has never happened before but has happened twice since I bought the DHD a month or so ago so, although I don't know for sure, I think it was the DHD that caused the problem.
The re-downloaded emails included both deleted and undeleted emails so it (presumably) is nothing to do with the "Delete off server" check box. That is now checked.
I want to know what is causing this peculiar action so that I can avoid it in the future. I haven't found this problem by searching the forum but, if it is there, please give me a link. Any ideas?
Thanks, Brian
(PS deleted from the General forum so reposted here)
Bump
Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Not sure what to do about this so I figured I would try asking here. I have a samsung galaxy note 2 AT&T version. I have had this issue in the past with my Note 1. The issue is that when I have an existing google contact that has a new phone number or an extra phone number. I will erase the old number on my phone and add the new one. As soon as the sync finishes it will delete the new number I just added and put back the old number. Or if I add a number to the existing google contact it won't sync the new one but just keeps the old number. It makes me angry because I keep losing new numbers because it's erasing them and putting back the old number. All of my contacts are google contacts, they all have the G next to them in my phonebook and all of the contacts are in my contacts the default google group. The phone is stock and has not been rooted. Also I'm not using any apps for my phonebook. Any ideas? Thanks
Motorola Droid PRO
I am having the exact same problem as described above! Drives me crazy. One day I add a number, the next is gone.
New contacts get synced, they appear also in browser, but updating a contact on the phone is useless. Gets overwritten by the information on the server, the one I see in browser when I access Google contacts.
Motorola Droid Pro is my phone, running Android 2.3.4, fresh reset to factory settings, no root. Can someone please tell us what are we doing wrong?
Hi Pros out there. Question - I'm getting a Google Nexus 6 and if I install whatsapp in this new phone, I would require a verification number to register my current phone number. Is it possible to transfer my whatsapp in my old Samsung S4 (with the registered number) to my new phone? Keeping the old whatsapp number is for contact purposes which I don't wish to change. Hopefully someone would know how to solve this technical question.
Cheers.
Just type in the ild number on the new device(and number?) and wait for the message on the old number(and device)
Or put the sim inside new phone and register. Then take it out.

Yes but the problem is my old phone sim card is no longer available. What should I do?
If the old phone is available you can transfer wa to another number(check in optiony under account)

Yes my old phone is still available. So the situation now is, I have a sim card with number (0123) in Samsung S4. But the whatsapp number was registered under my old sim card number (0456) which is an overseas number that is no longer available but the whatsapp is still functional.
If I buy a Nexus 6, can I transfer my whatsapp + old number (0456) into the new phone? Do you know the steps?
Cheers.
What does any of this thread have to do with the LG G4? This is not a Nexus 6, S4 or Whatsapp forum. Was this forum just randomly picked to post this in?

Sorry mate, I'm still new in this Forum. Didn't realized I posted in the wrong category. But it would be much appreciated if you know how to solve this? :crying:
I have been using various android phones for several years and really liked the feature where when one starts to dial a number it populates not only contacts matching but also recently dailed numbers but in this pixel 3 xl it doesn't seem to happen and it only populates matching contacts but not recently dialed numbers, is this not a feature of stock android and something other brands do and if not how do i enable it, and the other issue is i recently brought and activated google home mini and when i say the hot word when both devices are nearby both mini and my phone respond ( i have disabled that settung in phone before hand )and i only want mini and not the phone to respond in that situation, how do i achieve that, thanks.
Finally new BS4Pro update with JoyUI 13 android 12. A new feature includes shark spaces, screenshot editor, systems Interface, themes, icons … whatever.
Incoming / receiving calls got an issue at first. Cannot make a single call & no speech voice when receiving a call. However, finally make them work again by removing SIM Card, changing preferred network type, reseting forward calling from Xiaomi Contact/Dialer ... , and resetting blocklist feature from security.
Anyone got a new experience!!

If I recall correctly, Go to Setting > Account & Sync > Sing to Mi Account
Let your account accessible for almost weeks or months (DO NOT Sign OUT at all), while that, try to "Check for Updates" button frequently from "My devices" option.
the update might pop up for you. I know it's a crazy waiting time process. but it did the purpose of updating into new ROM
Hi i just found this post and i try what you explain but I don't have the upgrade yet. What do you meen when you say to sing to mi account? Mine is already connect and i don't have upgrade since a long time
