Hi,
I'd like to know if there's a way or a program that turn the brightness of the screen to low during a call.
I've searched for this solution but couldn't find.
Thanks.

did that
found the solution, in hd tweak you als have to disable the light sensor during a call.
and the solution is?!
anyway, i installed the cab, and my screen does not turn off at all, so it does not go to sleep as I normal.

LOL, a non sleeping phone
That CAB really did do the trick!
I have my Note 2 set up the same way I had my Note 1 set up (using Dialer One) to make calls.
When I finish a call and take the phone away from my ear, the screen takes much longer to come back on than my Note 1 did.
Anyone else seen this?
same problem here , any solution ?

Do you have the same setup as me, or just the same problem (let's try to narrow it down)?
I don't know if it is the same issue, but my problem with proximity sensor is when using "quick glance" feature...it takes to much to wake up the screen (aprox. 3 sec). I don;t know if it-s the sensor or some other internal settings...
I never used #GNote so I can't tell which one much quicker...
Same problem
I have Galaxy Note 2 on AT&T. I backed up my S3 and restored to it but I don't know if that is the problem.
It takes 3 seconds if I am mid call but I pull my phone down to do something else. My S3 didn't have this problem, and I am NOT using Dialer One. What the hell is the problem, does anyone know?
I have the ATT version and have the same problem.
It is really anoying and hope there is solution soon
If anyone still have this problem, i have a solution. In google market there is an app ''softlocker''. for me solve the problem. And its good for lockscreen when you wake phone from sleep

Softlocker in the play store. Not there for me.
Anyone else finding autobrightness for the LCD to be essentially useless?
I can be in my room with the lights off at night, and it never seems to turn itself down.

I just rooted my phone. Used Android Commander, and changed the thermald.conf file. Here's a guide.
Works awesome.

Hi all!
I have my Optimus G E975 for few weeks and i observe sometimes the vibration don`t working well.To be more specific,i always use vibrations,in ringing, sms, notifications. But sometimes the vibration is not as it should. If someone calling me,my phone give a short vibration just for a second, and after this just ring, without vibrations.Other times, vibrate as it should.Same in sms, sometimes the vibrations are normally,a long vibrate, but sometimes it`s just a short vibrate.I use V10H Romania(it`s last firmware for my country) stock and rooted rom.
Has anyone encountered this problem?Has anyone know how to fix this, please?
Thanks!

I've had this problem sometimes. I think it's to do with the last app that you had open when you last turned off the display. If you leave the messaging app open and turn off the screen, you don't seem to get vibration when you next receive a message. I guess maybe the same goes for calls if you leave the phone app open.

I usually close every app after i use them, cause i use an app to lock my phone who are on the home screen.Or you mean to kill them?
Thanks for your reply,i really appreciate and i personally search a fix for this problem. And so the vibrations are quite weak, with this bug sometimes you really don`t know if you recive a notification.
I do not mean to kill them, but just to return to the home screen before you lock it. That seemed to solve my vibration/notification tone problems. But if you're using an app to lock it anyway maybe it's not the right solution.

One usually needs to be rooted to alter that setting.

Before I give you the longer work around, I found this info:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...tle-sound-warning-when-increasing-volume.html
"I went into music settings and checkmarked the option to set all songs to the same volume. Now when I increase the volume, the warning message doesn't come up at all, and I can increase volume to the maximum if I want. Finally, I've been trying to fix this problem for ages, and I know others are experiencing this as well! Try this out and give me a shout if it works for you."
Try tweaking that setting in the stock music app.
If that doesn't work for you, you'll have to install the Xposed Framework and enable a module which can disable the setting.

This is in regards to the Galaxy S IV, but it will work for the S III, too.
Thanks for the help
