energy roms are the best i have used so far. but there is also battery drain and memory prob.
so it possible to have a pack of energy rom kitchen? like oem sys rom folders? for cook my own? not for release...
if no then is there any possiblity of dumping energy rom in other kitchen. plz reply.

For all the lurking I have done on this forum that is all that I have seen, I have not been able to locate a rom kitchen yet. However; I think that there would be a whole new mess of questions if someone just posted one up. All in all, it would be nice, but the amount of hassle it would cause for the experienced people would be too much to deal with.

Call me stupid, but I have searched around ALOT on this forum for an answer to my question but have yet found any relevance to what I am looking for.
I want to start cooking my own Artemis ROM's. As far as I have read the easiest way is by using something called HyperCore kitchen. Now, I've started using this, but have found out afterwards that cooked ROM's available to download on here, cannot be extracted properly so as to be able to make one of them custom for what I want.
And as there is no official WM6.1 ROM for the Artemis, I am at a loss.
Basically, what I am asking to do, is to find out how to port a Kaiser WM6.1 official ROM so that it would be usable on the Artemis. Alternatively, perhaps find out what files are required from the Kaiser ROM to make the official WM6 Artemis ROM into WM6.1.
I hope I haven't confused you all. Any help would be greatly appreciated, maybe from bepe, tom_codon, Anja, NhatHoa? Any of you guys still about these days?

I have looked everywhere. I have used the search, the wiki, google! I can't find any reference anywhere that explains to me how I can properly make a WM6.1 ROM for my Artemis using the required 6.1 files from a Diamond ROM.

Start off with a base ROM first instead of porting. Porting can get very tricky and complicated. I'm currently in the attempt of porting a ROM (for the Hermes) and let me tell you, it's not easy. If you want to know more, i can show you what i'm doing via IM (faster) or here.
Can someone please point me in the direction of the best kitchen software to use and all of the necessary files for the latest 6.1 rom as I'd like to try cooking a rom to my own taste.

hi there! well, I have htc touch diamond and for some time, I had some 6.5 room on it but I put back original 6.1 because some things didn't work quite as I want.
I was reading really much to understand but still didn't find the answer.
I would like to put manila sense on my diamond, so I need to find a proper room i think. can somebody help me and tell how to do it? which room is the best and then how to put mansense 2.5 (I know how to flash a room)

I suggest you try the GEN.Y kitchen. Its compiled with Sense 2.1 and 2.5. You can cook anyway you like. Jus make sure to thank the chef and mention his name and kitchen shud u make ur ROM public
