[Q] Desire's internet Unstable...disconnect on itself? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I found out that my desire often has this problem...after i connected it to internet (using wifi at home) everything is fine, but after a while i would not be able to connect to the internet anymore, but the wireless signal is just fine (full bar) this problem can be fixed if i turn on/off my wifi on my phone again....has anyone experiencing this kind of problem before?
ps. i am using LeeDrOiD version 2.1a rom

I have this issue. I'm on 2.10.405.2 Vodafone UK. Plus I have hboot 0.93 so I haven't managed to downgrade to stock.

[Q] Wifi: WPA2-Enterprise issues

I upgraded to the 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08 radio (recommended radio for Leedroid 3.0.x. I am using Leedroid 3.0.6 2nd release. I did not have this issue before the radio / ROM change.
My problem is that my phone refuses to connect to my corporate wireless about 90% of the time. It will say connecting then scanning then connecting, etc. When I am in the office I need to disable Wifi or my battery gets used up very quickly. I have tried now at 2 different office locations with the same wireless settings.
I am able to use my wireless at home without a problem and at other locations as well.
Has anyone else had similar issues? Should I try changing the radio again and if so what radio is recommended.
Thanks,
Shieze

Internet Pass-Through Unsuccessful...

Been having issues lately with my Wildfire S, which is deciding to misbehave...
When I am at home, I often connect the phone to my laptop and enable the Internet Pass-Through option to take advantage of the faster net speed via the laptop (my network (Vodafone) only registers on E and not 3G or H).
Most of the time it works perfectly fine, but recently it has been failing to connect to the PC, but HTC Sync works 100% fine everytime.
Any ideas?
Phone has been debranded to European 1.33.401.2 from the standard Vodafone OS (of which I cannot find an RUU for - any suggestions or links to that would be amazing).

[Q] CM7 Weird 3G/Wifi issue?

Hi guys. I recently flashed CM7 RC1.5 to my defy. Everything works fine except for one weird issue: if my 3g is on while I turn on wifi, it kills my router (BEFW11S4, old router). If I turn off 3g I can connect to the router without problems. I'm sure that this wouldn't happen with a newer router, but before the upgrade I didn't have this issue (froyo stock).
Is there an app to switch between 3g and wifi? I mean an app that forces 3g off before connecting to wifi?
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
my problem is the same but different.
my 3g works fine but when i turn wifi on the connection drop.
it only work again when i turn off the wifi.
any solution?

One X and other WiFi devices

Hi, I think I came accross a thread recently that discussed an issue when the One X connects to a wifi network it boots other devices off the network and wont let any connect. I've searched all over the forum for the thread but can't see it? (I probably looked right at it but just didn't see it) can someone point me in the right direction?
If I've just imagined it the issue I'm having is, when my One X connects to my wifi network it boots other devices off the network and wont let any connect (the wired connection works fine though). Even if I turn the Wifi connection off on the phone the router still shows the phone as connected on wifi and nothing else can connect to the network until I reboot the phone. I recently updated my Hboot to 1.31 and installed Insertcoin v13.0.0 Any ideas?
EDIT: I just found the thread, hahaha. If anyone else is looking for it here you go:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1939630&highlight=other+wifi+devices
