I am still having trouble with my calendar. I can now make a calendar event and see it on my phone, it says PC Sync, there is no other option. It does not, however, sync with my Outlook (exchange server). I can see my outlook calendar oh the phone and if I make an event from my computer it appears on the phone. If I open an event from my outlook calendar on the phone it calls it Exchange. When I open "Menu/More/Calendars/ there is no Exchange choice, there is a PC Sync choice, which is checked.
Before the last update if I made an entry on my phone it appeared on Outlook.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Julie Mavity-Hudson

Since I have a TP2 I figure I will post this issue in here..
Recently I installed iCalParse and loaded some iCal files from Google Calendar. Afterward all my calendar events on my phone and on my Outlook Exchange were gone. Well that stinks, but I went through and added them back and got rid of iCalParse (just load the ical files via Outlook instead).
The really pain is that now my Exchange Activesync will not automatically retrieve e-mail or calendar events. I have tried to set it to a timer and also "As items arrive", which is what I had been using. I can manually sync (via Send/Receive or Sync), but the auto sync won't run.
Is there a service that should be running that may have been corrupted? Anyone else seen this issue before?
I'm having some problems with syncing my HTC calendar with Outlook. the first sync seemed to go fine, but now HTC Sync seems to go through the process of syncing and then reports success, but my Outlook calendar hasn't been updated.
Any suggestions on what I can do? (My computer is running Windows 7 Home edition.)
Many thanks,
Joe
problems with outlook sync
Looking at it using the manual settings, it seems to me the HTC Sync isn't set up for Windows 7 -- it's looking for outlook folders where they're not. Any thoughts on how to remedy this?
Joe
From reading the Desire sync file, it may be that the problem is that it's syncing the Calendar with the All Users Personal Folder (which I can't find) rather than the Joe F folder.
Any thoughts on either where the all users Personal Folder is, or how I can get Sync to find the folder where my calendar is stored?
Joe
HTC Sync sucks...
I have also had problems with HTC Sync. It´s not very riliable.
I have made a G-Mail account and then installed: CompanionLink
I have setup companionlink to auto sync my calendar and contacts from outlook every 15 minutes.
You just setup the phone to sync with g-mail and it works like a charm without having to use cable and think about it.
this maybe not what youre looking for but it´s a solution that works

I hadn't heard of companionlink but I'd inadventently discovered that when I synced my gmail my calendar was synced to the gmail calender. I'll add companionlink and have a complete solution.

I use my Outlook calendar and I can see all my events in Outlook on the EVO Calendar. Before 2.2 I could easily make a calendar entry or change one and it would go to my Outlook and be updated in the server as well as show on the EVO. Now when I try to make a calendar entry it says "you have no calendars". Under Calendars it shows my gmail (which I have unchecked) my boss's gmail (also unchecked) and PC Sync (unchecked). If I go to add calendars there are none showing to add and "ok" is greyed out. Yet if I go to my computer and make an entry, it shows up on the EVO calendar. What is going on?
Thanks

If you are using Outlook, I think you need to use the PC sync option. If you are using ActiveSync (didn't seem like you were) then the option should be there. PC Sync is what you use for your outlook calendars on the Evo.
Solved
Oh, duh. Sorry. For some reason I assumed this was only if you were connected to your PC. Thanks.
Hello People,
I seem to be having problems with my HTC Desire Calendar.
I am using Desire fireware 2.1 & HTC Sync 2.0.33.
Everytime I add an event in my calendar on phone, it appears "BLUE" in the calendar (For some reason I have 3 calendars in my phone, 2x blue, "MY CALENDAR, & SIZZ calendar, 1x GREEN=PC Sync)
When I sync, it doesnt seem to update on my outlook.
If i add an event on my outlook and sync, it sync beautifully (both PC and phone)
But when I add an event on phone, and sync on PC, nothing gets synced in the calendar. Contacts get updated, but nothing else???
Anybody help?
when you create it on the phone you need to select the PC Sync account, that should be green on your phone = it will then sync.
If you select 'My Calendar' it goes to Google Calendar, not your PC
Cheers dave! Sorted!
Thanks
I recently switched to Office 365 email for work. After a week or so (haven't tracked it exactly yet), my Z1c stops updating events in either direction - will not add events from the server, nor push new events from the phone up to the server. I have tried setting the phone to use both 'Push' update and periodic sync.
Sync on the phone shows that the sync is running - 'last sync' is updated regularly. In my account in Office 365, it also has a panel that shows last sync time, which is updating. So, both the device and server think there is syncing going on. If I delete the account on my phone and re-create, it continues to sync normally again for about a week.
I do not have this issue with my tablet, an LG G Pad 8.3 LTE.
Update: I was not syncing email over ActiveSync, because I was still using Kaiten with IMAP for email. I have enabled email sync on the Office 365 ActiveSync account and now the calendar events are syncing again. I will wait to see if that starts to fail after a week or so as well.
