Is it possible to get the Power Control Widget from CM6 RC3 onto Skyraider Sense.
I personally prefer the sense ui to the vanilla CM6 but one of the key features I loved about CM6 was the power control widget. Any suggestions?
Look up "Extended controls" on the market.

"Extended Controls" is a highly customizable widget that can do what you have been wanting the stock widget to do all along...
Thanks, looks like exactly what I wanted. Thanks for the heads up!
I didnt even know I wanted it until I saw it....purchased immediately. Works great, this is how "power control" SHOULD work!
extended controls FTW!!!!

Is it possible to have a 4g toggle widget on a Non-Sense UI?
Couple things:
1) No, not until the AOSP Roms crack 4G.
2) It will give you error messages.
3) Why would you want one if 4G isn't working?

Yes, there's a 4G widget that turns 4g on an off with non-Sense launchers like Launcher Pro. It's little buggy (doesn't always turn off 4G), but it mostly works.
I got one with some custom rom; not sure if it's available in the Market.
There are also a number of other apps that can do it. Quick Settings is free and my personal favorite. I actually coded the 4G toggle myself and worked with the developer to add it. I love open source. SwitchPro and Extended Controls have it too, I believe.

Any way to mod your lockscreen similar to this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919121
I dont want an app or to use Widget Locker ( i hate that app btw ), I just want a better lockscreen than the sliding one. I prefer the HTC Sense, or at least the rotary one. I am running CM7
Not sure if it's no longer available in CM7, but in CM6 you can set the rotary lockscreen in CM Settings->Input Settings. You can also remove the lockscreen sliders and use gestures instead.
those are standard in cm7, settings/cyanogenmod settings/input settings

Hi
Is there any way ( app or something ) how to get power widget to notoficatins area instead of last used programs? i dont like using power widget on a home screen
Is this what your looking for?
[APP] Notification Toggle
nope this app is crap...i already tried it on lot of different phones and its no good. I used some custom rom for my G1 and it has another widget ( editable ) in the notifications area....but it looked like as a version of the original home screen widget
Frankly, if you've all ready rooted your phone. Why don't you upgrade to a Gingerbread ROM which gives you the power widget in the notification area for you?

This isn't a built-in Gingerbread feature. It's one of CM7's many great modifications.
no hes right...Gingerbread has a power widget, ehm a sort of, mixed up with the notifications area on 2 tabs, but its not customizable. i thought about switching to cm's but i really like the sense and all that HTC "crap"

Yeah that's what I meant. I guess I could have worded that a little clearer. How about a MIUI ROM instead? It's a bit like Sense in a way.
yeah, but its not a sense rom. Maybe im too demanding....
I had the Galaxy S2 before my Galaxy Nexus, and one little silly thing I liked on the S2, and now seeing the S3 has improved it even better, is the cool looking notification screen toggle widgets.
I am running CM9 now, and it has the toggle widgets, but they look lame, the S series just has a better looking design, etc...I thought the Galaxy Nexus would have copied the S2's toggles and be a stock ICS feature, surprised it is not even in the phone stock. Didn't Google realize that notification toggle widgets are a must have nowadays ? A feature that should not have been left out in my opinion.
Anyways, do you think it would be possible to port over the S3 toggle system to the Nexus, or no way ?

That's what I thought, oh well. Still surprised Google did not include these cool notification toggle widgets as a stock ICS feature. I remember when I first turned on my Nexus, I was like, hey where are the toggles ? I looked in settings, and couldn't find them, LOL

Why's that? No stock version of Android has had those toggles before. Stock Android is not packed full of the same features as the "skins" or "frameworks" offer.

I know, but doesn't mean Google shouldn't have added them. They are now a pretty standard common feature on most phones, why not just add it to be a stock feature in ICS ?
What is the best ICS clock widget that doesn't kill the battery?

I like this one after using all sort of clock widget. It consume the least batter among widgets I used. The Con: I cannot touch it to go anywhere else, such as Alarm clock or settings.
One more clock. Pretty customizable and you can customize what app you can open with it

I use a combo of BeWeather and the Beautiful Widgets apps. I have my display using a custom ICS looking Beautiful Widgets clock/weather combo, and enjoy the animations/info from BeWeather. It gives a lot of tweaking ability. Highly recommended.
I'd send you the links, but because I haven't posted much, it won't let me. Do a search on Google Play and you'll find them.
