Hi,
hope this is ok for this forum, but is there any app which monitors all apps and their indvidual data usage? Over the last couple of days I seem to have used a lot of data (way more than I usually do) and was wondering whether a particular app is responsible.
I have turned off all sync (background as well) but still data usage is mounting.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks for anything you can suggest,
Rich
I'm trying to check to see if the APN workaround to bypass throttling with my 2GB unlimited data plan, but when I call #932# to check my data usage, I get a different amount of usage than the usage shown on my my-tmobile page.
On my my-tmobile, I have ~30mb used, whereas when I use #932#, it shows around ~130mb. The 130mb is closer to my "true" usage (the actual amount while using the modified APN). I don't know if the trick is working for me or not. Can someone explain to me why the two measurements don't match up?
Thank you for your time.
Possibly lag between the network and the my-Tmobile Web page.
You can download Traffic Monitor from the market and it will give you fairly accurate data usage numbers. You can even monitor what uses data and how much. Set it up so it resets on the same day as your Billing cycle.

I'm using a data manager that I downloaded from the market. It matches up with the #932# data. The problem is, it's been like this for a couple days, so the possibility that it is simply lagging is becoming less and less plausible..
I think the apn trick doesn't show up the website.
Not too sure though.
That could be true, but why would it be monitored via #932#? I really don't know if the APN trick is working for me or not
Somehow the data usage on my SIII (ATT 4.1.2 stock rom, rooted) is not working properly. The total usage seems right but the itemized usage is not showing up correctly.
For example: it shows on the chart that the total usage for today is 5mb, but below the chart it says "No apps used data during this time."
What could cause this problem? Can anyone help? Thank you!
My HTC One is giving me the incorrect data usage total. It is double of what it should be and I even added up all of the data per app and it was half of what it has as the total which ties out to my actual data usage for T-Mobile. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Hi all,
Android OS seems to be using about a gigabyte a day of WiFi traffic. Does anyone what this might be, could it be a false reading, and could you guys please check if you have similar readings. (Under Mobile Data, enable Show Wi-Fi usage in the menu).
I've searched for the solution already and people mentioned Google backup, auto-uploading of photos, various syncing or uploading services etc... And all of that is disabled since I've never used it. I'm not noticing anything else suspicious including battery life so I'm pretty confused right now.
Thanks.
