Can the Htc Droid Incredible be fully flash to metro pcs (internet, sms, mms etc..) any link or info will be really appreciate it, THANK YOU in advance.
suppose to as it should work with metro PCS, check out this link http://www.phonedog.com/cell-phone-...c-droid-incredible_metropcs-40-unlimited.aspx
You just need to search the forum for a fully flash rom available for the Droid incredible on Metro PCS, good luck..
I know there was a few fully flashed phones on craigslist a few weeks ago but they are all gone now.
Good luck...

pretty much just add esn to database...activate the account with that esn and then follow my guide and use either my roms or my script on a Sprint OTA based rom
I get the drivers installed then don't get anything else. I guess I'm gonna have to fork out $70 for a remote flash. Damn.
No need just go to a regular Metro PCS store, not an affiliate, and they charge $10...Follow Bloody's guide very easy take 30 minutes as long as you follow everything step by step.
lol. had a numberswap on the account and was entering the new number instead of the old one! I had to reformat my netbook with win 7 for the drivers to work. then I was able to connect on port 3. I have voice and text now, no data. I read about tolken's zip but It's not working for me.
Help please!!
Just use the bloodykiller86 guide and his metrodroid ROM easiest way to get DATA to work...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182
followed the guide to a T. The local metropcs guy don't flash phones. I told him "I saw on the internet" right, and he started saying youtube. I told him, "no, xda" he said well if you think you can hack that **** go ahead and try. My text were all out of order with the metro droid roms. CM 6.1.1 - MetroPCS Edition made that strait. but with no htc sync you have to use WiFi. Well, I don't know how to set the evo up for a PPP connection but I think that's a whole other thread. Autostart.root. The tolken's zip file flashed. no go for the mms. I live in Mt. Pleasant MI. I'm sure a lot of people up here would be thrilled!
and I followed blood's guide several times, thanks. That's what's got me this far. Thank you blood! CM 6.1.1 - MetroPCS Edition is so nice. If you might be able to help me, I got yahoo messenger and mIRC.
where are you from before you even waste your time. I paid 20 and went through all of that to find out I cant even use my Evo on metro because its dual band and i wont get service in New York.
Mt. Pleasant MI
who would I ask? metrotecks don't know nothing. less than I do anyway.
if that's the case I don't want metropcs in Central Michigan. Boost/Sprint has the 3G's In Mt. P but I would have to know how to go back to sprint. Would flashing an old IMG do that?
Hey guys just got an evo out of a trade on craigslist, and want to bring it over to my cricket account. Got my Samsung Epic working but want to also add this EVO to my account for the ball and chain. Can someone please point me in the direction to the best known tutorial to flash this phone with? and been looking around and I seen a Jimminy cricket roms, is this the only rom that will work with a evo flashed to cricket, shouldn't be but just curious.
Thanks in advance
Can someone help make a HTC Incredible ROM for the Sprint network. I have a Incredible working on sprint and would like the ability to update the Profile info to fix my data issues ... also so it has the right PRL file and other items.
Any help would be nice
Thank You
Would love to know as my friend is looking into getting a used android to pit on boost, would be interested to see if he could use my Inc when I upgrade.
I'm no expert. I thought sprint used GSM, this WIKI shows they are the same Radio Technology(CDMA). I know Evo radio firmwares works with the DINC. Can't say it's impossible, there used to be a cricket rom on here.
I'd repost in Q&A section. Your likely to get closed down and flamed out here.
I think I've heard Sprint won't activate an ESN not in there system

I have VZW Incredible on Sprint, we will not go int details on the forum but my im using ported evo rom, the profile or prl update section in rom does not work however im guessing you can get calls and text msgs to work but you have no 3G?
Next Question is if phone and sms are working did you do it yourself? Because if you did then it makes the process of explaining a whole lot easier.
I was under the impression Sprint blocked VZW ESN
OH they definitely do but theres always a work around
wayne2410 ... yes i did it my self and the Phone works and texting but no data. My thought was if someone can show me or cook me a ROM for the incredible with all of the sprint items built in I can update my profile and let sprint fix the Data on the phone. I have put in the AAA password and everything just wont get data. If you have some other idea to help out please email me.
Thanks,
Jay
Cook an Incredible ROM for Sprint
So is anyone willing to Help me COOK a ROM that is for the Incredible but will sprint base files ... and will this even work after i install the ROM can i update the Profile from sprint and fix my data issues ?
Isn't it easier to just get a sprint phone
Yes it would be easier to get a Sprint phone and if sprint offered a HTC phone that was good without having to pay for 4G i would ... my wife will never use 4g and there is no need for me to pay for it ... but her HTC Hero sucks
Hey jhamady check your email I sent you info that i used t get my Droid incredible working on sprint $20.00 Free and clear 3000 min unlimited data plan LOL
Sprint charges 10th for any smart phone not just 4G. Read up on stuff before you assume.

I too am having the same issues, the aaa is in, but no data. If anyone could forward me the directions going around from wayne, I would be extremely grateful. An incredible without data is incredibly frustrating.
Any Luck
anyone have any more luck getting data to work... I am about ready to give in. I still think if we can get someone to cook an Incredible ROM with sprint sys files we might be able to run update profile and let it repair its own data connection but even that might not work.
Recomendations?
I've been looking around through ported roms and thought that would be the best place to start.
If any of you guys using a Dinc on Sprint could recomend a rom that has as much of the "sprint" left in it as possible that would be awesome.
I'm running a Dinc with the EVO 2.15.00.11.19 Radio and EVO 1.90 PRI.
This thing ran awesome for about a month then out of nowhere something when haywire and no amount of revising my settings, COMPLETELY wiping and reflashing everything seems to fix the issue. I'm hoping a rom that will accept a OTA PRL and/or "Firmware" (PRI) update will fix it. If not, then I don't care and I'll find a new phone. ha ha
Hello all and thanks to all for the help!! Im fairly technology savvy so it wont be hard for me to learn from a vet!.. I have done lots of research on how to flash Evo to metro pcs service, all articles are outdated and cant find CDMA software.... Metro pcs stores attempt to charge 100$ stating on there website to come in to a metroflash location store for 10$ LIE!!
If anyone have info on how to flash HTC EVO to metro updated it would be highly appreciated....
Flashed but Not Fully.. NO MMS or Internet etc
Ok so I finally get it flashed but no internet or MMs working. anyone with any updated help on where to start. I have been searching but all seems almost outdated.
HTC evo to metropcs
The provisioning has to be done(with the CDMA software) to get internet and mms. Provisioning alone will get internet working but MMS has a lot to do with the ROM you are using...check out Bloodykiller's thread in the development forum for all the mms info.
Thanks

how do I flash it from the begining? please help, as I am a total noob. thanx
I learned pretty quickly there's a HUGE difference between the corporate metro stores and the "authorized dealers". Got mine flashed for $10 at the only corp store in town when the others wanted $50 or $100
Howdy everyone,
I got a verizon incredible that will be used on sprint. i keep reading other posts where people complain about roms with sprint remnants left over.
are there any roms tha ALL of the sprint provisioning apps are still in he rom?
my main concern is setting up data.
can anyone recommend a rom that is made for sprint or at least a rom with as much sprint remnants as possible?
thanks in advance

No ROM is made for Sprint because the DInc community is primarily on Verizon. However, you can try the port of the EVO Classic, here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399512&highlight=classic
It might have some Sprint stuff leftover.
thank bro

When the GB OTA first dropped it had a few Sprint remnants, the market had a Sprint link instead of a Verizon link and the build prop listed the wrong screen size and had a few mentions of Sprint. Verizon eventually fixed the issues and all the dev's updated their ROM's so finding that first original OTA will be tough as no one is around anymore and really not worth finding as it had so few Sprint things in it anyways.

Wait are you saying you want to use the incredible with sprint service, or use the incredible with vzw service but a sprint phone ported rom?
To the best of my knowledge the htc incredible will not work on sprints network, as the inc is a cdma phone and the sprint network is gsm. I could be wrong about that though.
If you want to use a sprint ported rom, your bes bet would be to learn how to use android kitchen and port a sprint rom of your liking to the inc. Its not likley any already ported ink rom arround has all the correct things needed to run on the sprint network.

And the Inc has almost the exact same hardware as Sprints EVO and that is where a lot of our kernels were coming from.
hello again,
sorry if i wasnt clear, i am using the incredible on sprint (currently voice/txt works but no data) so i was wondering if there are any roms for the incredble that are already setup for sprint? i know it is not a native sprint device, i was just hoping maybe someone had put together a sprint rom.
anyone else using an incredible on sprint? any advice on getting data working would be appreciated.
thanks again

No clue on getting it to work on Sprint, and I haven't personally seen any sprint ROMS. I'm surprised you were able to get it working on sprint. i thought they checked for ESNs before activating it. Perhaps fool around with the APN settings.

You are the first person I've ever heard of using the Inc on Sprint and there are no Sprint specific ROMs here. There is a thread on a ROM for MetroPCS and Cricket and I don't know if it would be of any help to you as it was only a WIP (work in progress and never finished).

you didnt tell me you were getting into this
only the 1x will work no 3g
but its not a bad little setup
its similiar to doing a boost flash if you dont have access to the secret stuffs
use opensesamedoor method
CDMA WS paid will give you some stuff too
you also wanna grab the profile 0 and 1 AAA and HA keys with DFS
once thats done you can slap them on your "fashed" Inc and get her done
man
you gotta PM me more often about this stuff i Love it
BTW
you should just go with the dinc2 you can set that up on sprint in about a hour
What did you need to do to get sprint service working?
I have an old incredible and LG ally that I would love to be able to activate on Sprint in the event that I manage to brick my epic 4g touch (which is an imminent possiblity what with the unsafe recoveries we have available...) were you able to do this solely from home or did you need to get a Sprint tech involved?
All the Sprint and Verizon techs I spoke to about this said that they are not allowed to activate off-network phones, and that their jobs aren't worth me having a cheaper phone (can't really blame them.)
