[Q] Last free Astrid - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

Hi, Astrid is no longer available for free - does anyone have the last free version before it became a apid app?
I have never used it and like to try it, but the new free version is crippeled in functionality

It is still free but it appears people aren't pleased with the new version. Anyway, here's a link for the old version: http://bit.ly/oldastrid

Thank you very much!

[Q] RockPlayer Missing from the Android Market ?

Hi
I can't find RockPlayer on the android market does anyone know what happened to it ?
Me neither
PM me if you need a copy
it looks like they took it down a little while back?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=704261
You can get it from here.
You can also look for arcMedia in the Market, which also plays DivX files - it's not as good quality as RockPlayer IMHO, but it is good enough.

Dave

it's on the official site, there's no need to have it elsewhere: http://rockplayer.freecoder.org/

That's very old - pre-Market release. It does seem that it has been pulled from the Market now though.
Regards,
Dave
Thanks for the feedback guys but does anyone know why it was pulled from the market ?
google pulled every version apart from the ARMv6 version, i assume the dev pulled that version out of protest or somthing
AFAIK google classed the app as Warez as they did not have a licence to run the codecs it was running (or something like that). This is why its no longer in the market, and it may not make a return.
All versions have now been pulled from the market.
See this is what pisses me off about android, alot of people moan about supporting developers, well i supported RockPlayer by purchasing the full version for £10 now there no longer in the market, so i got a free app, paid extra money to support a developer i thought was actually worth investing in and now they've gone from the market, if it was there choice or googles ive had no information or comunication from RockPlayer on how or if there will be any updates from this point on or have i just given them £10 for nothing. I paid for the full Arm 7 version even though i have found a cracked version that gives the full version with the validate option removed and all the paid features added, but still thought they were worth supporting.
I hope im wrong & rockplayer will someday return, but stuff like this makes me think i should just use illegally obtained apps instead of throwing money down the drain.

We are returned as a unified package, thus users need not worry about CPU model things, please search RockPlayer now in Market. And it is always available on our website anplayer.com .
Would you please share me any original words or info from Google side? Indeed they didn't gave email notification or any explanation, even we complained through Market support page. We guess it is because our app cannot run on all CPU, there are so many video players using FFmpeg, but seems we are only one distinct CPU for performance.

The Elements - Tablet

I am currently working on a version of my app, The Elements, specifically for the Adam and similar tablets. Currently this app is available in the Demo section or the Android Market. You should be able to transfer it to your tablet if the market is not available on your tablet. Because this will transfer straight into the finished product it does cost 2.99 (price libel to increase with introduction of Wolfram|Alpha API). For those of you who check it out, please send me your thoughts and let me know what you think I need to fix or add. Thanks.
Been doing a ton of work on this lately. Spending all my spare time on it basically. So far I've got the List section near finalization. It still has work, yes, but you can get a pretty good idea of what its going to look like when its done.
Again, please send me all comments. All are welcome.
Check it out here
Features
*All 118 Elements
*Information highlights (click on things like Atomic Weight to see what this is)

*List View is now functioning.
*Classic View is now functioning.

THANK YOU!!!!
I am sooo glad this is going to be available on Android, I've used this on the iPad and thought it was amazing!!!
Heading straight over to buy this delicious app.
Anyone on XDA reading this, please consider buying this to support this devs Android efforts.
Once again, thanks Amon!
I've been trying to buy the tablet version for my Advent Vega Tegra tablet running Android 2.2 but the Android market website says it is "Not available for your carrier"
It does not appear in the Android Market on the tablet, although your two phone versions appear there.
My tablet does not have a sim slot and no 3g capability and thus does not have a "carrier".
Do you have any ideas how I can purchase your app?
If it's of any relevance I'm in the UK.

My apologies. I have not been able to get all the countries information entered yet into the market. I will work on that later and you should be able to get it by tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Just so you know I expect this to be comparable to the iPad app but this is NOT the same. Nor am I affiliated to the creator of the iPad app. I do realize that they have the same name. I have not looked at whose came first nor am I sure that it matters seeing as I am on a different platform. Just want to clear that up. I intend to make it a great experience though and thank you for your support. I hope that I still have it.

[BETA][PUBLIC]Play songs from Zune collection by using your voice - TellDJ Rehearsal

Hi,
I wasn't sure where to post this, so apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I'm working on this
and would really appreciate feedback. The quick lowdown if you don't want to watch the video is that you can launch songs from your Zune collection using your voice by saying the song's name into your Windows Phone. As a 'thank you' for the support and enthusiasm I got for the app, I have released a free PC version which uses your PC microphone instead. However, it'd be great if I can get feedback on how the PC version works for you and what you think of it because the phone version demoed uses a very similar engine. So essentially, this is a beta for the main component of the phone app which will make it easier for me to tweak and improve the system for the WP version. I'd really appreciate any feedback I can get on this.
Update - Based on user feedback, version 1.1 has been released
You can download the PC version from www.telldj.com.
Thanks!

[APP]WiFi Companion

Hello, I want to show you my new app called WiFi Companion. It's essentially a new WiFi switcher and manager based on time and location. You can check the full description and screenshots on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.weavestudios.wificompanion
I'm looking for beta testers. I need feedback of many aspects of the app, from app usages, translations, bugs to feature requests. Compatibility reports are also very valuable, such as android version and phone manufacturer/model.
Currently, there is a closed beta version published, quite different/better from production apk. To join beta program please join this community:

And then click here:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.weavestudios.wificompanion
I'll be answering posts here and there.
A new beta version has been published, so join the beta program if you want to try it.
I think its a lot better than previous version, but that's my opinion. Tell me what you think.

Feedback request on application

I have puıblished a watchface which retrieves your photos from Facebook and uses them as background.
The watchface receives photos from Facebook realtime so this is a very dynamic watchface.
I had thought that it would really get a lot of attention when publishing it. However, very few have downloaded it.
not many people are even trying it.
I guess there is a problem , but I couldn't find what is wrong. I'd really appreciate if some users can give me feedback.
Thx.

There's also the paid version here, but since demo is not being downloaded, paid version is not the concern at the moment:
