Hi reisyboy,
If you flash in a proper way (meaning; Use USPL to unlock your device every time you flash with a new ROM), you can always go back to the factory ROM supplied by your provider.
I have downloaded the official -updated- ROM of T-M... before I was going to flash my phone. At a certain time I didn't see any improvement with an other ROM and flashed back in no time to factory settings. I have not used USPL for flashing back to the factory ROM. If you are having trouble finding the official ROM, try to find it in the Artemis-WIKI. Very usefull.
Read these instructions very good and you are in business
Grtz and good luck!
Hi everyone I have been working at this forever now and I am not sure what to do. I will first say that I am very new at this. I have an incredible which I got root access to by watching and repeating the steps on the you tube video. Without thinking I then manually updated to the 2.2 froyo manually. I have lost my tethering among other things and I was wanting to downgrade so that I can start over from scratch so I don't mess anything up. The only problem is that I can seem when following the you tube videos to get the the green recovery screen. Is that the clockwork recovery boot program because I never installed anything like that. I look forward to all of your help and support. Thanks Pat

Not sure if you turned S-OFF, or not, but it's a good idea to leave S-OFF unless you're returning it to the store, so just omit the part about turning it on.
Any questions, let me know.
Hey I tried that but it will not work.
you've gotta be a little more specific..what specifically doesn't work? What step is causing you trouble..etc...........................................

I talked to dadicus, and he said he marked it out because he hadn't tried it yet, and wanted to incorporate S-ON into it as well. He'll unmark it out once he's tried it and verified it works. I've followed it word for word (excluding the S-ON) part at least 5 or 6 times, and it's worked.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THIS BASE BAND COMES FROM. I TRIED TO GOOGLE IS AND NOTHING SHOWS UP?
n900tuvuenj3, IM ON A UNLOCKED NOTE 3 FROM T MOBILE RUNNING ON 4.4.4 AND I CANT FIND ANYONE THAT HAS THE SAME FIRMWARE AS I DO. 4.4.4 SUCKS I WANT TO DOWNGRADE OR RE FLASH THE FIRMWARE.
[emoji15] [emoji15] [emoji15]
I have no clue, I can't find anything on it. Where and when did you get the phone?
And before you do anything, can you please make a dump of it? I can help you step-by-step through the process, if necessary. Please? [emoji120]
I got the phone from a guy on Craigslist, the phone was rooted and i wanted to unroot it so i got the stock firmware for sammobile and re flash 4.4.2 as soon as the phone booted up it said i had another update. After all was done i ended up with 4.4.4. And i have had nothing but problems.
Sorry i have no idea what a dump of my phone is bro.
Basically, it's just pulling a copy of the ROM from the phone. See here.
Your ROM seems to be unique, and I'd love to be able to take a look at it.
Do yoy have to be rooted, if so i dint want to root because i cant flash the stick rom if something happens. Because i cant find it lol
I'm not sure if you have to be rooted...I would assume you probably do, but I'll look into it and get back with you on that. In the meantime, can you download this app (don't worry, it's free), and either post a screenshot or copy down everything under the 'FIRMWARE INFO' and 'OS INFO' sections?
Especially the Bootloader Version. That'll tell us whether or not we can get you downgraded to 4.4.2. If so, I'll be more than happy to walk you through the process step-by-step. The rest will help tell me more about the ROM. The app has some functions that I know need root, but I'm pretty sure it'll still give you the info I mentioned.
I'm real curious about this ROM...
Edit to add: Just FYI, if you were rooted, you could make a clean backup of everything with TWRP or CWM, in lieu of having the original ROM to flash, but until we know what bootloader you're on, we can't be 100% sure that a custom recovery will work, so it's best not to risk it at this point.

Silly prob, just developed from nowhere. If my wifi is either switched off manually or by itself it cannot be switch on again. Found a painful way around it and that is to reboot into recovery, delete dalvik cache and cache, reboot again and its there. Obviously this is annoying process so am hoping some one has experienced this same issue an found a fix. Or someone knows whats happening.. thx:good:
Can you post the output of fastboot getvar all (removing the IMEI and serial number) and also which ROM you're using?
Because Lollipop requires the new firmware so if you're now using a Lollipop ROM it's more than likely your issue (you've not mentioned either so I'm making assumptions but because of how rude you have been I don't really care). Next time I won't bother but trust me, I wouldn't have if I didn't know what I was on about. Have fun fixing it yourself

Exactly what eddy says. You came here for help.....we didnt ask you to come here.
And you seem to know which advice will be given, if you are that good why don't you write in the OP what you already know about the issue and provide logcats so we can dig through them to spot some error maybe. Ever thought about that ?
If i were you i would say : thanks for the reply eddy but ...... etc etc. This kind of "a developer is qualified to help" attitude won't get you far here. At the end of the day it's not our device that needs a fix.
Happy fixing
Moderator Information,
Thread has been cleaned. For info the older firmware does not work with the newest versions of Android. This is because the wifi drivers were changed in the newer version. The only fix is to update the firmware, this can be done via s-off methods or going back to stock and flashing the latest OTA.
Here is a good link for updating the firmware:

Im still abit new to XDA so forgive me for any rookie errors. Just like Veroby, I am also having wifi issues, I am aware that you need to upgrade firmware to upgrade to Lollipop but since I'm S-On only option for me is to revert to stock using a Stock Nandroid Back up of my cid (OPTUS001) from Mr Hofs thread, to go back to stock, which worked fine, but after doing 1 OTA update, my wifi will stop working! Same as what veroby describes. Help us out guys! Will provide information if required.

Open your own thread. Your case is about restoring a backup on wrong hboot.
Not going to respond further here.
Hi,
2 month ago I installed cyanogenmode. Ever since then I tried to go back to my htc stock rom but I have failed everytime.
I always stuck somewhere and I always manage to brick my phone and delete my OS.
I know there are a lot of threads here but non of them helps. If someone would please try to explain me how to do it step by step I would be really appreciated.
P.S. can someone please give me links for downloading all the correct files.

Have you tried Nukaru's tutorial on the a5_ul ? It's here in XDA . That's the best "step by step" your going to get and if you've tried it and failed the issue might not be the steps but something else going on with your device.
