chompSMS Force close on font search - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have downloaded a few font packs from the market, the majority being from either handcent or betterdroid. My understanding is that these font packs are compatible with chompsms. When I tell chomp to search for font packs it starts searching packages, finds a couple along the way, gets to a package called 'dialer storage' where it then hangs and force closes. Any ideas?
From what I have been able to garner from my google-fu dialer storage is storage for mms, but im not sure about that, and I cant find any issues similar to this on chomp's forums or here.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
edit: mods if this should be in themes and apps instead of Q&A please move it, kthx

Bumping for noobness, of which I have lots.

anyone? thoughts? opinions? Im retarded for not being able to figure this out myself?

bumping, any help would be appreciated, still havent been able to find any solution to this myself

Facebook Sync: Where is the answer burried?

So, i've searched and searched and search. Either the answer is burried in some lost 8,000+ reply thread where there are 400 different conversations going on, or i'm just missing the blatantly obvious. Before creating this post, I also clicked through the suggested search results that open above the posting box. Unfortunately, those were no help as well.
I can go into each individual contact and make it manually change over to their Facebook picture, but that is 200+ people to do that for.
With the exception of having an arrowless keyboard, and this issue, i absolutely love the rom. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Currently running SuperEvo-V2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=781296) with cmsnap7.6 krnl (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733099)
And even while i hopefully wait for replies to this thread, i am still searching.
If i find a resolution, i'll post it here myself. until then, i still NEEEEED help.

I am running stock 3.29 and this automatically happens. You may want to contact your rom developer.
It appears that ROM is based on CM6. If it's like CM6, you download/open Facebook app, log in, and then it will ask you if you want to sync contacts...by choosing "Sync existing contacts", it will then sync all the contacts that are your phonebook, and if you do not already have a picture attached, it should use the FB picture by default.
If that doesn't happen...contact the ROM developer.

Yea, went through that step multiple times. No change.
Even tried an older apk of facebook to see if it might be a problem with the newest version. No change there either.
Pretty much going to ask in the developers thread. yay.

Different phone/dialer apps

Hi
I am using 2.3.4 through Gingerbread V3
Wondering if you can install a different dialer, maybe there is a thread somewhere with dialers.
Why?
Because this one does not search my contacts for the letters entered on the dialer, very annoying.
cheers
fusk
T9 dialer. I use GO contacts to circumvent this. And also has a vibrate on connect from Sense roms.
Thanks, going to have a look at that.
Other suggestions are still welcome.
EDIT:
Just noticed it does not support Danish, neither does GO contacts.
That is a problem if their name contains æ ø å.
Also I noticed that third party apps since 2.3 no longer have access to the phone state, so your missed calls counter is going to accumulate. Most irritating. I hope Go team solves the it in the upcoming versions.
That'll most likely be fixed, but missing language support probably won't come right around the corner.
Btw. i'll try post this question in themes and apps, seems more relevant and might get more answers, so moving this to themes & apps.

[Q] Change SMS color

Does anyone know how, or if it's even possible, to change the sms bubble color? They picked some of the worst colors for stock. Also, I am rooted. And yes I tried the search function first, but it is down at the moment so please don't flame me.
Download alternative sms app from the market or else you will have to theme it by yourself.
My favorite sms app is Go dev sms app. Go check it out.
I've tried some other sms apps but I actually like the stock one. I guess I'll have to do some research, but is it very hard to theme it on your own?

Don't worry mate, you posted in the right section and this is a rarely covered topic (in fact its one I battled with back on the Epic 4G). To answer your question, yes and no. Having never delved into the TW Messaging app I have no idea if you'd simply have to create and replace an image file or if we're talking massive edits. My advice would be to get a program like WinZip or 7zip and open the messaging apk with it. Look around for the images related to the bubbles and see if replacing them works.

[Q] Sending and Receiving SMS in Korean

Rooted the phone and am running AOKP-PrimoC w/ Super Sick Kernel.
Is there a way to send and receive text messages in Korean? If so, can you share how this can be done?
Recipients are reporting that the messages are broken/scrambled.
I'm currently using the Korean IME app from the G.Play...
Thanks for the the help in advance!
self bump
i dont know if this helps (hope it does) but from a quick google search it looks like handcent supports korean languages with an addon pack. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handcent.lang.nextsms.ko&hl=en
also it looks like you may need to add some korean fonts to your /system/fonts directory. that and see if your carrier supports unicode. a google search should be your best friend on accomplishing this. hopefully you get this sorted out, it has to be frustrating.
i tried that, and the handcent app does not show up in the drawer.
It shows up in settings>apps but not anywhere else

[Q] ZWPro constantly crashing when attempting to change font ! Need advice/solution.

Anyone else have this issue or have had this issue ??? I've experienced a similar problem with trying to select other iconsets and I solved it by removing some, then some more, finally stabilized.
I tried to do the same with font but no dice. I have a very large collection of fonts, iconsets and templates but this problem with font fc'ing the app is very irritating as you might imagine.
I'd appreciate any advice or solution before I go crazy ! BTW, I'm quite familiar with ZWPro, been using it for couple years now. I couldn't find similar issue by Google search or XDA thread search either.
I have tried removing all folders, uninstalling ZWP, then reinstall letting it freshly populate internal memory space. Also tried to clear app data, etc
