I decided with all the work thats been going ok with CM6 I'd throw down the dollars for Premium Rom Manager from the market.. I got my confirmation email.. but the app is stuck on Authorizing Purchase.. Been that was since 3pm today
I can't refund it either because it fails. Any ideas?
I'm running my stock DInc rom with root.
Try getting the link to download the apk off a site online, then run the Android SDK and install it through that?

Don't think thats gonna work since Premium is probably locked like most others you pay for. I have the free version on the phone and it works but I can't access all the content due to it being free.
refund says, "A network error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen." -- no go..
Not sure what else I can do and tomorrow I won't be able to refund

If you were charged, then you have the rights to use it. I'd try downloading it off a site online. When you run / install it, it should check to see if it's a legal copy, and I believe it does that by checking to see if you paid for it via the market?
Either way, paying for a program and not being able to use it (or get a refund) isn't right. Guess it's not particularly anyones fault, just connections?
Everything else in the market installed just fine. I've been on it most of the day. I couldn't find a premium version download and I'm not about to download a torrent copy. Just wish I could fix this.

You already own it, so there shouldn't really be an issue. I suppose just request a new license key.

I keep getting Nagged for an update. Anyone know how I stop it from asking. It keeps trying and trying.
Have you already got the first OTA? If so then we need to get a copy of the OTA that you are being asked to install.

yep. I finally got my phone rooted again after many tries but now I seem to get a request to install an update and this time I am not going to take the chance and losing root. Does anyone know where that update sits on the phone?

CDMA, I (as well as many) know how to do this. HOWEVER, your claim MAY be valuable, hence why all the questions, and not answers to your thread. Do us a favor and screenshot your build number/software info for us. (under about phone of your settings menu). If everything checks out, we can continue to help you block the OTA updates.
What is odd is you getting prompted for OTA this late in the game. Unless you have recently applied an older RUU, you should not be getting prompted for OTA. Please provide this info. Thanks.

In that thread didn't you say that you are a tester for Verizon or something and that you got the latest update that supposedly provides 720p, wireless hotspot, etc? If so are you saying that you have rooted even after that update? If that's the case then the Unrevoked root method has not been patched by the latest update.
Cdma,
If this is the new ota then this is great news. Please post your build number and if you haven't already flash the clockworkmod recovery using unrevoked's reflash. Then we can pull the ota and unrevoked can make it root safe.
cdma head on over to the irc channel and we can help you get the ota off your phone

Did you ever try and RUU back to stock? You said you were gonna give it a shot...
I didn't want to really get into this because I could be wrong, but I work for Verizon Wireless. I looked around the pages of information we had to see if maybe there was a planned OTA update for the Incredible. We normally get warned in advance for any software updates that are being pushed to the phone. Needless to say, I wasn't able to find any information after some thorough digging. I figured that maybe this was a test that HTC was doing before releasing it to us. I asked some reps from HTC that were showing off the Incredible that day and they hadn't heard of any update coming for the Incredible. They said they would shoot me an email if they heard anything, but I never heard back. So, maybe it is true, but I'm still doubting it until I see something in writing about it.
Seeing as how we cant get a screenshot im sort of feeling its either the original OTA or total bull****. Would love for it to be neither but if i had i would find a way to get it in to the brilliant hands of our developers. I know id like to be the guy who blessed the many members of XDA with 720p video and that sweet new boot animation.(and mainly a way to keep root) Anyway ill stop my rant as thats not my style.

Yea that stupid bombing back In S.K. hurt the network for the android market. No need to keep wiping guys. if it happens again, try updating market first, then rebooting. if none of it works, check back to the news later on in future and check if south Korea happened to have another bombing.
OK Here it is the app you have all been waiting for. My Verizon for any Device, yes any ROM, any Device.
This handy little app will let you pay your bill from anywhere, yes you can fork over your paycheck to big red from the pay day loan store now. No need to wait till you get home, get the loan you needed to pay your bill, load the app up and Voila you now have the funds and the app to boot.
Posted this here since the JB ROM's seem to be having trouble getting a good working version of the My Verizon App, but theoretically this will work with any ROM or Device out there...
Give it a go, this is a MODDED version of a Verizon Built App so there may be bugs. Verizon is good for that.

This won't make the NFL app work. You need to download the Verizon single sign on engine. To make that work.. there maybe a work around for this too, but I don't know of one yet since it is now a subscription service.

Not really. If I cared I'd decompile it and the stock version and compare it with beyond compare. I was just curious how you can get out to work on any rom without some of the other files associated with it like libmotricity.so. That's all.

Not to be dic¿ but if you didn't care why ask.
But to answer your question, like many apps that require secure logins, my Verizon is nothing more than a fancy web browser. The screen you see is a web page. Turn off your data connection then load the app, when the page won't load you'll see the web address. The normal my Verizon app just stores your credentials so it can automatically log in, like storing a cookie.
Now how did I make it work, I found a Verizon app that had everything in place already, made some changes to the manifest and renamed the package so it would not auto update from the market.
very simple really once I discovered an app with a loop hole.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
As well as this little app worked, Verizon didnt like it and ordered it to be removed from the play store due to copy write infringement.
The word Verizon can not be printed in an unauthorized way from what I understand. So it was removed.

The funny part is how ever, this app was nothing more than a web page viewer that used the mobile verizon website as it's home page.
Oh well, lesson learned. Dont use their website with out permission first I guess.

Got in on the Samsung Pay beta. It is awesome. Used it for probably 10 transactions over the past weekend and only once did use it at a terminal that takes NFC payments. The hardest part was explaining to people that I did just pay with my phone at their old swipe terminal. Got plenty of questions about it. I even used it at a gas pump. I had to put my drivers license to trigger the payment, then held my phone up and sure enough it worked flawlessly. Samsung got it right when they bought and included the loop pay functionality. It finally makes a phone payment system that works almost anywhere.
I have beta as well but not as lucky as you. My Visa debit is from Wells Fargo, my Mastercard is from Capital One, and I also got a discover card. I'm hoping after the beta a lot more cards will work.

This is the advanced messaging upgrade. In messages app there's a chat settings now!
I think you guys need to update the app itself from the samsung app store.
Couple of things I'm seeing here. 1st samsung pay is a stand alone app that was already integrated with our phone so no firmware update needed for that. Latest firmware update includes video calling integration with the default dialer and seamless switching when using it. Finally stage fright was addressed with the original firmware that came installed and you can check via stage fright detector app on play store.
I believe that those that need to install (invited to beta) need to do it through the Samsung Pay app. If I remember I just clicked the app and it asked me to update/install.

Samsung Pay isn't available in Google Play or Galaxy Apps. At least, that is what I've seen on Samsung's support page.
No its not available anywhere on any store but I just spoke with the Samsung pay staff and they're experiencing technical problems in provisioning new beta users, they are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. They said my case has been elevated to level 2 whatever that means so I'm waiting on the fix!
