Hi guys!
Here is a nice battery saving background for big cats lovers. I've found it in a backgrounds app a while ago. looks good on a locked screen plus makes a nice background for widgets and apps.
Hope you'll like it.

Well this is my first try at making a cool wallpaper.
Looks pretty cool

nice but the black img is low quality
i agree when i get a few minutes I need to fix that.
Just got the ET4G and love the battery life.. But my evo3d screen looked sexier!
I hear this one is better, but it looks kinda *too* sharp as opposed to the 3d having a solid looking picturesque quality. Gradients appear pixalated rather that smooth and it seems that is because the 3d was a bit more blurry and the ET's bigger screen shows more flaws in apps made for smaller screens.
SO. is it possible to add a "sharpness" control parameter? Id love to soften up my screen a bit!
Don't know how hard that is or not. Seems like it is. peace and thanks!

Holy balls... I never thought I would ever hear anyone complain about the screen being too crisp.

Are you sure you picked up the EPIC 4G TOUCH?....hmmmm...I think you've been cheated!
What does my signature say? I simply believe this screen reveals the flaws in images.
For instance:
look at the gradient on the xda forum's loading page... its not so smooth.
Search for adobe in the all store.. I acrobat reader has horrific digital artifacts in that red frigging icon... I also may other icons look less than sexy.
Lastly, turn your phone off and plug it in.. The gradient on the battery illustration is horrid..

Dang, Swift key added some weird auto corrections in that last tab..
One more weird observation: when you change the screen mode from "Dynamic" to "Standard" or "Movie", the color hue changes oddly.. Look at the facebook App color blue on Dynamic and then look at the color blue After changing to Movie.. It looks greenish... Hmmmmmm

Just curious what everyone's opinion on inverted gapps(dark background, light text) are. I just flashed Black Bean AOKP and it's taking some getting used to. It feels waaaay different than stock somehow for me.
Inverted for battery life if nothing else. I spend a lot of time in MMS!
I like inverted for the appearance. I've never noticed any increase in battery life, I just like the blacked out look.

I generally like the look and it helps on battery a little.

I prefer white text on black BG for certain apps(reddit, xda, RSS feeds) due to the way it's laid out. Normal browsing, texting and IMs I really don't care too much for inverted. I already get decent battery out of this thing. A little more wouldn't hurt, but I'm weird like that I guess.
I personally would like to have some inverted and some stock. For example, Gmail should be stock, cuz some emails look really odd and ugly when it has black background, but for something like phone and contracts, it just looks better with black background

Anyone mind sharing your weather widgets or know a nice wv post here cause the 1 that comes with TW is a shame takes up to much ram and rewrites and lags up the launcher by just scrolling. Deactivate it and its parts and your phone is going much snappier.

+1 for Android Weather. Just dled it last night but its the best weather widget I've ever used. I like how yo can open your calendar and clock app from the widget. Thanks for the heads up in this.
I use WeatherLove (Free on Market) , customisable , gps based (can be disabled) , transparency capable ... Have a try
HD Weather Widgets. Very customizable. It's foggy at the moment (you can see a cloud in the middle, under the clock). Background is set to Transparent.
Beautiful widgets.
It doesn't consume so much RAM or processor power.

+1 love that widget you can customize it to how you like..
I feel like i have tried every weather widget and cant seem to find a nice one. they either drain the battery (i like the refresh on wake setting) or the graphics are blah. i'm looking for one with a crisp HD look, transparency settings, and the ability to customize a little so i am asking if a few of you wouldnt mind posting a screenshot of your widget and give a little info on it to see if maybe there is something out there i havent tried or tried but didnt realize the potential haha. Thanks!!

The best weather widget personally is pre built into htc sense :'( i loved the weather widget from sense 4.1 but a good alternative is bz weather clear animations and doesn't chew battery up...

I use the transparent stock widget from the S4. Its nice especially if you use custom wallpapers or you just don't like tacky, bulky looking widgets on your home screen.
Beautiful Widgets and HD Widgets are both crisp. HD Widgets is higher end thus uses more cpu and system resources. Personally BW suits my liking, light on system usage, lots of cusomized themes, it has a nice lockscreen widget as well.

i have used BW in the past, i did like the customized themes but for some reason stopped (i think because i was in search of a flip clock that was as smooth as some of the sense ones that actually flip nicely, i gave up lol) its been awhile so i will have to give it another run.

I'm using fancy widgets, and weather screen - weather screen had lots of options but worth it. Its like sense background weather without the wipers when raining, you can even set the amount of battery usage. Just check it out.
POWER ED by the MASTER!
+1 for Android Weather
