Video calling in UK? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

Does anyone know of an app/service that will enable video calling in the UK (either over wifi or 3g)? I've installed Fring but for some reason they've disabled their Skype add-on, which means I have nobody to call so I uninstalled it.

Is there a way to use the VOIP hack to enable service on the new @home t-mobile network? I know the VOIP works with standard SIP services but is there a way to make it work on this new network?
nope, tmo uses a different protocol that basically tunnels GSM through the WIFI connection.
I use http://www.tivi.com/ for making VOIP calls, its free and i can call any SIP number, it workes perfectly with T-mobile Dash... you just need a WIFI connection...

A little question..Voip over 3g--it's possible or not?????

As in the subject...i wanto to make voip calls over 3g networks, not wifi..!!!
It's possible or not??

Oh..i didn't say this..!! Skype is perfectly functionally...but..i wish use integrated voip of wm6..!
I use Internet Calling with my TyTN over 3G on AT&T (PDA connect plan) to my local asterisk server. My server sits behind NAT and my TyTN is on extension 500. My Asterisk server has a trunk connection to my Vonage softphone account for outbound calling. Overall, it works very nicely. There's a bit of breakup, but its quite usable. I'm working on a GSM610 codec now that will improve things even further.
My main issue is power. VoIP over the 3G data connection dramatically reduces battery life. It's like constant surfing with PIE.
I use it over T-Mobile's EDGE. Because this is not real 3G, regular calls can't be received while there is a data stream, but my VoIP provider allows me to forward to my regular phone numbers when the VoIP number is off line.
Bottom line, it works perfectly fine with the included software in WM6.

voip & tytn

Hey all,
I was wondering how many guys here have voip enabled (SIP account) on their mobile. And are you leaving your pda on the whole day/night or not? Because when voip over wifi is enabled, when you power off your device you don't have any wifi anymore so it don't make sense to have voip (excpet for calling out).
I have my voip also for incomming calls.
Grtz,
Hi,
I had the native VOIP support enabled (separate cab) on my previous rom (Black Satin WM6.0), but now I installed the italian "Parabola" rom and I didn't install the voip yet.
I remember that there is an utility like "advanced configuration" that enables you to chose to mantain wifi on also when the screen is switched off in standby mode. I used that because on outcoming call after XX second the system went in standby, the wifi disconnected and I lost the call.. very annoying. After the trick everything was ok!
But I never used the phone as incoming VOIP call.. just for test one time because I use a softphone on my notebook.
Ciao ;-)

BT tethering - able to disable incoming calls?

When I tether to my phone to get on the internet with my notebook, it works fine until someone calls my cell. Is there some way to disable incoming calls...aside from forwarding my calls to another number? Or, I've got a Motorola Q9c that was replaced by another device...is it possible to simply enter my info ([email protected]) into the connection information and tether with that?
BTW, this is on a Titan with a cooked ROM, functioning GPS and 3.42.50 radio on Verizon.
Thanks!

apps and streaming media via pass-through?

I have a couple of apps that wont work in pass-through, ebay is one for example.
I'm assuming some apps check wifi or 3g for network cobnnectivity and if you have these off, it wont work. i tried some proxy app, but that did not work either. is there any workaround to make apps think there using wifi/3g buit can divert it to the pass-through( reverse tether)
