Hello,
Does anyone know whether a US version of the EVO 4G work in the Netherlands.
And is there a possible way to make it work here.
If in 2011 4g will be covered in Holland, is it going to work that way?
thanks in advance

I know that China has had CDMA for years and recently in the last few years CDMA 2000 so I am wondering if anyone can confirm this phone being able to work in China?
I know that 4G wont work, until they get a network up even if it is the one that HTC EVO can use is gonna be a miracle, but honestly 3G and 3.5G is enough for now.
I honestly cant see myself using any other phone then this and have already bought it so anyone that can confirm this can put my heart at ease.
I would really like an answer or opinion on this subject.
please and thanks
Hello,
I recently bought an HTC EVO 4G and i am not very knowledgeable with CDMA networks. I did some searching around on these forums to try to find out what exactly I need to do to get my EVO up and running on another CDMA network providing the network accepts my phone. Can anyone help me? I can do a bit of research so you dont have to get into extreme detail. Is it as easy as flashing my radio?
THanks.
I cant have stomped everyone here. =|

Hello Everyone. I have been searching the forums for an answer to my problem but haven't found any info.
I recently purchased a Desire 4G online with out realizing that there was no AT&T 4G coverage in my area. I also made a poor assumption that this phone would be backwards compatible to my current 3G service.
My question: Is this phone backwards compatible and I just don't know the proper settings or do I just stick it in a drawer and wait for AT&T to role out 4g in my area sometime in the fall. ( so they are saying )
I would appreciate any help
Thanx
Do you mean an Inspire 4G? There isn't a Desire 4G
Absolutely right Inspire 4G. My mistake sorry. I also realize that I posted this in the wron forum. It should have went in Q&A. If someone could move there I would appreciate it.
Shouldn't even be in the Desire forum - needs moving to the Inspire one
Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the Epic 4G Touch and the US Cellular version of our phone.
I'm trying to introduce a friend to rooting and I can't find any forums for US Cellular models.
I do not want to steer him to the wrong info.

Wrong forum this is the OG with hardware keyboard. You need the Epic touch section.

Thanks.
Am i the only one using the Epic 4g outside the US? I use it in India. If there are other users from India, please reply to this thread so that we can share our experiences and help each other out.

Hi Billamin: I have an Epic 4G touch from Sprint in the US that I am planning to use in India. Can you please let me know what ROM should I flash it to for using on the reliance network in India?

If its your first time rooting the go for any stable rom.
I'm using this E4G in China. Programmed to China Telecom and 3G enabled. I think you have to make sure your carrier is CDMA, as E4G is only compatible with that (damn or I'll be enjoying "4G" from China Unicom)
Also, not to discourage you, but I don't think there's the file to program your E4G to India carriers should there be a suitable one... The user base might be TOO small
Anyway, just a heads-up that this phone is possible outta US. I'm currently switching between all kinds of ROMs and they all work well.

Anyone with a brain can program if you take the time, patience to learn, theoretically any company on CDMA can be used with the epic, the 2 fastest things that come nearly instantly from easy programming is talk and text, 3g and 1x are carrier dependent, with most being a breeze to get 1x, and 3g requiring a bit more leg work, but doable.
