Yeah, just open any layout xml file and voila. It's really hard to *not* find it.
Maybe you don't have ADT installed?
uhhh
sorry that was a really dumb question
the problem was i openend the xml files and they opened in text view as standard and i didnt see the layout tab underneath

Is thre a way in WM6 to add words to the auto complete?
"I'm" seems to be missing, whereas it was there in WM5 and would like to add it, and maybe a couple of others.
search for mobile-sg DictMgr at the net.
you can try http://dmitriy.geels.googlepages.com/dictionaryeditor or http://mobile-sg.com/software/?p=DictMgr&platform=ppc
hopefully one of these is what you are looking for
Cheers, I'll have a look.
maybe this solves:
you can have a look at file "autocorrect.0409.txt" under \windows.
show hidden files must be enabled first.

nope that wont help because its read only.. nice try though if you are going to modify that txt file it needs to be done from the dump using taz's tools but i havnt had good luck doing that maybe someone with a little more knowledge will come along and help out.
Blob Editor for PC
Version: 1.2
I've made a little tool that helps to edit camera's interface.
Supports both X1 and X2.
As you know, interface is packed into images.blob. Now you can replace any image there.
Also you can edit sounds.blob with it
Version history:
v1.2:
-fixed sounds replacing bug
v1.1:
-added command line support. Now you can assign it to *.blob files.
-F1 and F2 now replace or extract current file
-minor interface fixes
v1.0: initial release
Mini-Guide:
1) Get you images.blob or sounds.blob file from \Program Files\XperiaCamera\Resources
2) Open it in BlobEditor
3) Find any images you want to replace and press "Replace". It is better to extract all files (they will have internal hex-identifiers, not just an order)
4) Save. Move to \Program Files\XperiaCamera\Resources. Enjoy!
Screenshot:
Attachments:
BlobEdit - editing tool.
ExampleUI - little changed X1's UI. Changed arrows in options and "play" image in gallery.
images_x2 - may be someone wants to "port" X2's interface to X1? You are welcomed!
sounds_x2 - sounds from X2
Maybe write a mini-guide on how to replace the files? I thought it was a .cab app for xperia and all the work was done on the phone.. But I dont know where the .blob files are located in the phone memory in order to replace them :/ Any help appreciated ^^
Hi
If I'm not wrong, you're "ultrashot" from "mobilefree"?!
You & your friends converted my K750 to nearly a smartphone.
Glad to see you here!
@ all: ultrashot is a master in developing.
Thank you for all your works.hope to learn a lot of things from you.
I tried the editor and it works for me.
If you add "Drag & Drop" feature it's better I think.
thanks
@ chichoko:
It's a computer Program.
By default the files are here in X1:
/Program Files/XperiaCamera/Resources/
PS:
could you share X2 Camera Sounds too?!

Good idea, but I decided not to do this because of some reasons. But I've added F1/F2 shortcuts.

Ok, shared. They seem to be the same as X1's (only one empty sound added)
Thank you very much.
I'm sure you will bring new eXPERIence to XPERIA
I hope learn many things from you.

rotastrain is right. Quoted from Wikipedia:
"OP, short for original post or original poster. Used on online message boards and forums to denote the first post (or posting) on a topic often containing the original question or topic of discussion."
Appreciated for the mini-guide! Will give it a shot later on when I get home.. Cheers!

It is not harder than MS notepad. You can extract all files, redraw them as you want and then replace all needed files.
So Great
Thankx

Well.. how do I make an audio file a *.bin file, so that I can select it with the application? Just renaming the *.wav to *.bin does give an error..
Other than that: Great, I've always wanted to get rid of some the camera sounds..
dsip, thanks, fixed. Check first post.
Oh, it wasn't actually me. Thanks for fixing it, works perfectly now.
I might very well imagine it, but using your sound.blob with the extra "slot" for Sound "D" felt like it made the menu of the camera somwhat slower. I haven't tested it or anything, and I just replaced the sounds in the old sounds.blob without a "D" in it. (Using an X1 that is, obviously.)
Hello, atlast after 3days of download and work i have made a custom Rom that has my name on it with HTC Desire HD stuff and updates but now what i need to ask is :
1) how can i put my name Rom name in the Notification like RCMix or the others?
2) any easy way to make boot screens or animations or so found but that i can edit or anything?
3) any way to make a custem theme there is only the online thing and sadly i dont knw how to use it or its limited, i want like AuraxTSense is it possible?
4) if i have a update.zip file that has in it an .apk can i take it and add it to the app section and it will work normaly?
that is it for now thanks a lot for all the help i get and links....
To add your own version number, open the build.prop file and add it to the end of the 'Software version' line
To build themes from scratch, I believe that you'd have to rip apart the res-framework.apk.

If you change the .apk to .rar you can extract and see some jpegs and whatnot in their folders. This should be the one to edit.
Then again, these are the things I've picked up from the chatter between the more senior and tech-savvy.
You might want to look at this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=729867

I was wondering if we can enable social hub premium for low end devices?
Their are "minor" differences between S8500/S8530...
So without trying, no idea if success.
If more S5250 users contribute, we could try to find solution.
I have only S8500, so I can't check theory.

The only problem is the font...
For the imswf...we have a LockScreen.imswf

and edit the image into the swf.
Good Modding and Good Luky

This sounds very interesting.
As "we" stuck into problem with *.rbm files.

We have already test Qub...
I have spoke with RusEm in 2010 for S5230 Modding
and Qub is programmed only for Nucleus Os based Samsung devices
Bada is Linux Kernel, Nucleus Structure and TouchWiz Graphics...
a MeltingPot!!
Yes you can write back swf...
Take the original swf and open it with HxDen or other Hex programm...
So you have to open the original RC1 with Hex Program...search the first 3 letters of swf
in Rc1 and you find the initial offset of SWF.
Now You can open the new swf with Hex and Put it into Rc1 from old offset
and over write the old...
If the old is bigger then new sobstitute the remain hex valute with 00
If the new is bigger then new you can't put into rc1
When Rc1 is saved you can flash with MultiLoader...
This is only the theory...you must test it
i Forgot to quote my team:

-Zackron

I am not sure if Flash Decompiler Trillix allows editing of ActionScript.
You can edit the whole *.swf.
ALL parts of it.
But you need Flash knowledge or minimum reading with Text Editor...

After comparing the code of wave 575 default screen and the wave 3 lock screen, i am interested to try changing some things in the actionscript but i am unable to do that with this editor
Edit 1: converting to fla and back seems to be a pain and am looking for a direct editor like Zlash but its not free
Edit 2: found a good tool for direct editing. ASDEC. However, the change in code does not seem to have fixed the sms bug. Continuing further with further investigation using trial and error method.

240*400, which swf file do I need to work on? I will extract your firmware files. whats the path to these swf files?
I Think, it is "CallLockScreen.swf" or sth like that...
It could be found in RC1-file...
Do not have the exact path in mind...
Should be easy to find...
