My phone was dropped the other day and seem to still work fine except after a couple of days the touch screen stopped working. The only thing you can see on the screen is like a ink blot in the top right hand corner. So does that mean that I have a broke LCD or is something else wrong?
Also I have tried to find a Tilt 2 lcd but have been unable to. I can find a TP2 LCD easy but it has the hole in it for the front camera. Would I be able to use the TP2 screen if I can't find a Tilt 2 one?

Hi All,
I have a Tilt 2 and today I notice that I have a black stain on back of my screen. I first thought it was due to humidity since I am in mexico right now on vacation. But after playing around I figure out that looks like a burn pixels and also my touch screen fuctionality is not working any more. its like its froozen. I have tried to reset but its not helping.
I am thinking maybe this has happen due to some pressure on the phone during the flight i am not really sure. Do you think the LCD is bad? do I need to change the LCD or is there any other way to fix this. I see these items on ebay. do i need to buy both items?

Thanks.
Update:
Looks like its not a dead pixel. some how the humidity has cause water to go behind the screen between the LCD and front cover. Any ideas how to get ride of it with out opening up the LCD? I tried blow dring but that has not help alot. The strange part is it goes a way after a while and touch screen starts to work but then it comes back again.
any ideas would be appriciated.
Thanks.
Maybe I'm just retarded, but I can't seem to find the setting to recalibrate my screen.
It's been slightly annoying me because I bought one of those fancy adonit styluses, (The ones witht he plastic disc, supposed to be more precise), and it works great, however when I turn on the "show touches" function, the touch from the stylus ALWAYS registers slightly towards the edge of the screen.
If I touch in the center of my screen the touch registers dead on, but the closer I get to the edge screen, the further off it gets.
I've noticed something similar on my tablet. But in my case, the best alignment when showing touches is in the upper left corner of the screen. As I move farther down, the touches start to come up slightly down and right of where the stylus is touching the screen.
So It's been a couple of weeks and Ive still yet to find a way to fix this slightly annoying accuracy issue. Does anyone know a way of doing so?

Try flashing ts-20 from sfnub's thread, works better for me
H guys, so something weird is happening with my Note 2, my screen works flawlessly and it's not damaged in any way, but my s pen stopped working on most part of my screen ... Only the left top corner and bottom right corner work for now, nothing else ... Could it be that my wacom digitizer got "broken" somehow? I can write with my finger no problems, but outside of those 2 areas, the s pen is not usable ... I tried the Wacom test with *#0*# and it gets interrupted when I get out of the left corner ... So my questions are - I assume, but am not 100 % sure, that my s pen s not broken, since it works on a part of my screen ... That leaves the digitizer ... Can it be replaced alone anyhow? Or do I have to pay 180+$ for the whole package? :/
So a little while ago a friend of mine broke his z1's screen. We went and got a new one but because we wanted to save a bit of money we went and got one from a chinese site. Now I have just installed the screen and it works pretty damn well but there is a bit of a problem. The phone isn't showing the touches where they should be. they're accurate on the left side but as you go to the right the touch location lags behind your finger. This is probably just the digitizer being a bit cheap and crap but seeing as I just installed the screen with adhesive and all is there a way that we could modify the touch calibration to get it in line? Note here that the phone ISN'T rooted although if the solution needs it we certainly can root it.
Hi,
Unfortunately for me i dropped my phone and cracked my tempered glass in several places. gladly the screen underneath was perfectly fine after drop however, it has developed a fault as the screen won't turn on at all. I tried turning it off and restarting and although i can hear the boot up logo sound i see no picture at all. i can receive calls but cannot answer due to screen not displaying.
The screen had four main pressure cracks.... one is top left, one on the ear speaker, one bottom middle and one bottom left of phone. hopefully you can see it in picture.
Can you give advice on what to try or do to resolve this? will i need a new screen or disassemble to see what the issue is?
I've only had the phone for 2/3 months at most
Thanks in advance
looks like i will answer my own question....
i bought a replacement lcd & digitiser, one complete unit and swapped the necessary components over to new screen. all is working and good. not sure if the screen is repairable but there are other parts inside this screen worth selling on. it still has a non cracked immaculate screen along with the charging port and other stuff inside old screen.
at a cost of £70, i consider this an expensive fix
Thanks for the input kakawak
cheers
