Hi folks sorry if this is on here somewhere but I have serached, honest..
Does anyone know of an application or hack I can use on my TP2 so when the phone is open and I receive or make a call the speakerphone will be on by default? Be handy in the car. When it is closed I would want the speakerphone to be off by default.

Is there a way I can set the Dash to automatically switch to speakerphone when I answer a phone call? I would like to have a button or something so when I get in my car I can switch between auto speakerphone mode and normal.
Thanks
Look for a program called PhoneAlarm SP.

Another thing to check into for you...the application Vito Audio Notes has an option to automatically turn on the speaker phone for every call. Good luck!
Try this Freeware:

I have been wondering for a few days now whether the "Straight Talk" loudspeaker and mic activated by flipping the Rhodium is not the same as the loudspeaker activated by tapping "loudspeaker" when making a call and perhaps someone can enlighted me?
The reason I'm asking is because I have read such raving reviews of the Straight Talk function, with its crystal clear noice cancelled sound and everything, yet when I'm in the car making a call and tap "loudspeaker" I have to talk really loud for the people on the other end to hear me. Also they sometime complain about the sound recieved from me being metallic or having a background hum to it.
So, is the two functions different? And if they are, is there another way to activate Straight Talk than flipping the phone?
Or is my Rhodium faulty?
Any input is very much appreciated!
Noone can help here?
Yes those functions are different. When you use straight talk it uses the microphone on the back of the rhodium. I don't know if there is another way to activate this function and I don't know why you would do that
Witch rom are you using? In my experience the custom roms have a better sound quality then stock roms. I don't know if it's true but it's just a feeling
I guess I'm just too used to tapping the loudspeaker button just after dialing... or when recieving calls. Sometimes it doesn't work putting it face down whilst driving, on the passenger seat, and I can't put it face down while it is in a cradle either...
I'm using the latest stock ROM, european version.
Good morning,
Unfortunately my HTC TouchPro 2 is still on the fritz... the microphone seems to be completely fried.
To listen to anyone; I have to put it on speakerphone. (they can hear me fine via regular mic)
So my question to you is, until I can get myself a new phone, is there a way to force speakerphone for all incoming and outgoing calls?
Thanks for all suggestions,
Alec Taylor
PS: Also extremely interested in suggestions for fixing my phones' regular speaker, so I can listen without speakerphone :]

Look up the application auto loudspeaker for WM. It automatically switches to loudspeaker when you pull the phone away from your ear.
