Can the clock in the top bar.... - Hero, G2 Touch Android Development

be removed? I really don't see the need for two clocks, but I prefer having one of the HTC clocks.

Suggestion for theme devs

I personally have done this by editing the clock myself but having a black clock on a black background (or white on white) would be a nice option.
I personally have the "Hero style" flip clock/weather widget and having two clocks is just redundant. Wouldn't take much to sign two different updates with different clocks.
Just a suggestion... take it for what you will

Remove clock from notification bar?

I have found other threads about changing the clock color, but is it possible to completely remove[/i] the clock from the notification bar?
On here there are so many widgets that give the time, and the lock screen does the same thing.
unfortunately not at this stage. Personally i prefer it to be there anyway cos that means that whatever screen you are on you can see the time (less battery usage too) - also the reason i prefer weatherbug to a weather widget)...

Column question/observation/issue

Something that happened in the ICS to JB upgrade in that I've seemed to lose the ability to have a 5 column widget. I use ADWLauncher EX and have had 5 colums on my Photon and ICS SG 3. I use a Sense-like clock widget and was able to have a 5x2 clock at the top of the screen. After the JB upgrade the height and width of the widget come from predetermined values and the ability to increase or decrease has been lost and a 5x2 option is not available. Am I missing something or is this just the nature of JB? A 4x2 clock on this screen is certainly usable, it's just not centered.

Fancy Widgets Skin Issue

Yo, ho, hello there, I'm making a skin for Fancy Widgets right now and it's almost perfected. The one thing that is really driving me crazy is that the numbers and the am/pm indicators are missing. The left/right clock background shows up fine, the weather background is there, and all the weather text and icons are visible. But the numbers (which are images) and the am/pm indicators (also images) do not appear on the widget. No elements are hidden in the settings and all the transparency is set to opaque for everything I could find.
I noticed that if I use a different style - ex. digital rather than the flip clock I'm designing - when placing the widget, the numbers & am/pm show up.

Can the weather clock be removed from the lock screen?

This is my first experience with HTC and Sense. I use a separate weather app, so it's redundant to have that info displayed alongside the weather clock on the lock screen. It appears that the weather clock is a fixed setting, though. Any way that this can be removed or swapped out with just a standard clock? Thanks.
