I upgraded to the leaked T-Mobile 6.5 ROM. However there is a mjor issue with the start menu.
Is it possible to customize this abomination? (Sorry for the language). My recently installed applications are several screens below, while tons of garbage are in the first page.
If it's not possible to reorder items here, is it possible to return to old 6.1 start menu? (I remember reading something about this in the forum, but could not find it in search).

I'm running a custom rom, so I can't guarantee, but...
A long press on an icon makes it drag-able so you can drag it up or down the screen to wheverever in the "honeycomb" you want it. Is that what you're looking for?
With the OP's ROM, a long press will bring up the "Move to Top" or "Move Down" menu, absurd as it is...

Oh...yeah. I've experienced that version before. Yes, almost useless.

Will this work for me?
same situation here with stock Tilt 2, I cant find an easy way to organize the start menu. "Move to top" will take forever, also when you install or upgrade an app it will go the the end again.
Any solution?

Hi all,
Firstly thanks to all the hard working people that bring us upgrades to the OS on our phones.
I was running the LVSW 0408 version for a week without problem. After reading the vote for the best WM6, I decided to switch to Black 2.0.
I have noticed that I have a new message stuck on my Today screen and also 1 unread message in the Text Messages folder, but there is nothing there.
I tried the "Clear Text messages" option and empty deleted items, but no luck.
After a heap of searching I found a thread that suggested to install clearnotify_878.zip, but this did nothing. I cannot even find the application, although the system says it is installed. I did do a soft reset after the install
I understand this is not a major bug, but it is annoying. Has anyone got a fix ?
Thanks
Mal
I think there's a reg entry that you can tweak to rest it.
otherwise I recall this thread
Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried the fixureadcount.exe and it did the trick.
I am now back to being a happy wm6 user.
Thank you
Hey guys, does anyone know how to backup the start menu icons in manila 2.1 in wm 6.1? Its a bit of a pain to have to assign them every time i install a ROM (or rather every time i go back to wm 6.1 ).
Ive tried searching but no luck and ive also tried exporting the registries associated with the start menu (hklm\software\htc\manila\programlauncher) but that didnt seem to do it either.
Any ideas?

By the way with the previous post, there is some good tricks to make a flash quicker.
Any way to save or backup quotes from the Stock tab of the Touchflo?.
Thanks,
I know how to use it, but the problem I am having is after I get new programs I go to my Custom Freestyle section.. I long press and click to choose shortcuts..
YET nothing new I downloaded is in there??
Also, finally I am trying to do the bookmarks as well..
I open Dolphin, I save a bookmark, go back into Smart Shortcuts..
YET AGAIN, nothing is in there except the stock ****..
THANKS!!!
Hello, i have a question to you. Eariler i used viperDHD rom and there is a mod, where i can set function "hold back to kill app". Next i change rom to SVHD and it really faster and better for me, but i can't find that mod/app. Is there any chance to this function on this rom?

If developers option are visible then scroll all the way down and click last option which is "Kill App Back Button". If not visible developer option then click on build number for 7 times until it says "No need, you've already unlocked developers settings".
I think after that you may able to kill app by back button

Unfortunately, this rom doesn't have that option, or i can't see it. Maybe some flashable zip or something?
Hello,
I have a rooted phone with stock rom, is it possible to change the scroll down menu from the default LG to stock android like on CM without installing a new rom?
What scroll down menu are you referring to?
The one it appears when you scroll down you finger from the top of the screen, and where you have the WiFi, data, volume, rotation buttons etc.
It probably has a specific name but I'm afraid I don't know it, English is not my first language
