Hi All
I have HTC HD with cooked ROM Miri WM6.5 16.0 WWE, Manila 2.5.19214010.0
I have 2 problems:
1- The sound icon in the Top bar in Home page dose not update when i change my sound setting, ex from normal to silent, even though my phone is on silent the icon in the Home page in HTC Sense shows it as Normal profile instead
2- The Volume control buttons on the side of the HTC are not affecting the device sound in any way, what happenes in stead when i press them is that it acts as up or down button
Dose anyone have a fix for this?
My advice is to post your questions in related cooked ROM thread, not no create new thread, so that those people who flash the same ROM can respond to your problem timely.

Hi there,
Can someone tell me if there is an application that just a replacement for the lock\unlock feature on Touch HD when you hold down the end Call button for 3seconds.
I know the closest thing to this is the S2U2 app but i don't want to replace my screen with the S2U2 Screen (S2U2 is a cool app with lots of fucntions!)
So instead of pressing the unlock (bottom Left) just use the slider to unlock if i need to use the phone.
At the same time, maybe have options so that when a call is received, the TouchHD Answer\Reject appears but everything is locked so the call can't be answered accidentally.
??
Thanks!
Change S2U2 Wallpaper's files with your screen background ^^ then you can cut off the virtual HW key to Answer/Reject in S2U2's settings

Since the top bar in the wm 6.5.3 builds is smaller, it has become harder to press and open the notification manager and task managers. I haven't been able out how to map a button the the notification manager of the device, as its a dll and not an application, can anyone give me any hints as to how to do this?
thanks.
o btw, I'm using htc's notification enhancement
no one else interested in this or have any ideas?
I dunno. I don't have any issues activating the Notification manager. Just roll your finger from the outside edge of the screen, down... so the first thing you make contact with is the very top of the screen.
My Diamond 2 lacks many hardware buttons and lately I haven't been cooking Notification manager in because the new WM6.5.x notifications are neat.
is there a simple way to do this with mortscript or something?
Not sure (probably so) if anyone has found or noticed, but the lockscreen is easily bypassed on some builds. My build is HTC TP2(TMO) Energy ROM OS version 5.2.23569(23569.5.5.0), Manilla version 2.5.20121225.0.CFC, ROM version 28.MAY.2010 WWE, Radio 4.49.25.91 . With the latest 1.8.0 CoOKie home tab, plus 1.8 CHT. Upon hitting the power button to turn on the phone and activate the lock screen, you can just "slide" the phone open to expose the keyboard, close it again and...tahdah! You now have access to the Menu button in which you can change lockscreen settings or any other setting for that matter. I am not sure which software is the culprit, just wanted to give a heads up. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the lockscreen at all. Thank you for your time, and great programming work!
Had my Touch Pro2 for about a week now, and I'm loving it (coming from a TyTN II) I've found a ROM I like, set it up the way I want it, and I'm very happy apart from a couple of little niggles. It's so fast and smooth compared to my old phone!! And the screen is gorgeous
Anyway, I've been a member of these fantastic forums for a long time now, and I don't ask many questions, since usually I can find the answers I am looking for (I like figuring things out for myself!) but I have searched and searched for an answer to these questions to no avail.
So, here goes:
1. Is there any way to disable the transparency of the task bar and soft key bar on the start menu? It annoys me having the background show through. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and don't like the fact that it's the ONLY place where it happens, I'd like a consistent experience Why on earth did Microsoft decide to do this? If it's going to be transparent then apply it everywhere! It looks a little weird since the ROM I am using (which is awesome, btw ) has custom task bar icons, and little squares show up around them when the task bar goes transparent. I guess I'm just being picky but if anyone knows a reg tweak or some other way of doing this that would be great!
2. Has anybody found any way to change tracks in WMP without taking the device out of your pocket? On my old phone, when using WMP's Toggle Screen feature, I could feel for and use the DPad in my pocket to change tracks and volume without the device waking up. On the TP2 I can change the volume using the volume keys but changing tracks causes it to wake up and go crazy in my pocket! (I've used advanced keyboard config to assign the windows key and back key to DPad left and right, since I find having both hardware and software buttons in WM6.5.X a little pointless). If I lock the phone, then the volume keys still work, which is very useful, but obviously non of the other keys do so no track changing.
I know there is a program that allows you to use the voice command button on the HTC headphones to change tracks on the HTC music tab, but I have to use custom headphones because my ears are a funny shape and normal headphones don't stay in xD Also I don't like the music tab, it seems slow and doesn't show all the album art properly. I actually like WMP, it's always worked fine for me, don't know why everyone hates it so much BTW I've disabled the standard 6.5 lockscreen and am just using the soft key unlock like in 6.1
Sorry for the epic long post and thanks in advance!
Hi guys,
I really liked a feature on ICS that it is possible to regulate your ringer volume by pressing vol+ button once and then setting it by sliding finger on popup menu. How happy was I when I saw a feature on cm9 to make this menu expandable and manipulate trough all volumes (Ringer, notifications, media etc.). Now, due to stability im back on cm7 and heres my question. Is it possible to flash an addon which make me possible to have an ics style volume popup menu?
Sorry for my bad english. Szotaa
