I have a question is there a cab or a way to edit the registry so that the ring tone volume decreases when you pick it up like on the HD2??

have problems hearing the phone ring the normal tones i my bag then it rings i cant hear it i have tryed a few downloads tone and they are not much better is there a way of incresing the ring volume
i have gone in to settings and changed the ring vol to full on the slider

Strange, my native ring tones files are very audble.
Anyway, have you tried increasing the volume of the file of the ring tone, and saving it?
U can even use native system tool
(start/programs/accessories/entertainment/sound record) - don´t know if these are exact names as my windows is in Portuguese. Save the file with, say, 200% volume increase and transfer to ppc. Now it must be very audible.
I upgraded to Black Shadow and the ringtones that came with it seems reasonably loud. But when i import mp3 or wav files to the "My Ringtones" folder, it's barely audible. IS there a way to increase the volume? I miss most of my calls due to low ringtone volume so i have no choice but to use the one that comes with it. Note* My volume is already in max and when i was using WM5, the volume bar was only halfway and it was already loud. And the way the mp3 or wav was recorded, its in a good enough volume for the WM5 but not for the cooked one.

there are some "keys" in the registry you can try changing - be careful!!
You can edit your sound file with a sound editor to increase the master volume of the file. It's what I did previsouly, and it's very efficient!
How can I with Regedit change keyboard and ring volume?
It looks like in ICS it's no longer possible to uncouple notification volume from ringtone volume (i.e. modify notification volume w/o ringtone volume).
Is there a workaround I don't know about?
Is there any mod available for the Dialer app that will make it use the call ring volume rather than the media volume for the dial sounds? I usually keep my media volume on mute but would like to hear the dial tones.
