Bluetooth and Sony Headset - General Accessories

Hello
Whenever I press play on my Sony Bluetooth Stereo Headset while it is connected to my Touch HD, it automatically launches Windows Media Player. Is there any way to prevent this (I prefer the HTH Audio Player)?
Thanks

should just be a case of changing the default media player. If it's the same as on a pc, just choose a media file in file explorer/total commander, go into properties and it should let you change the default player.
If not, then it will be in the bluetooth settings.

A2DP service on desktop

Hi folks,
I wondering, how to set-up some kind of service on a windows based computer, which enables wm based ppc to play sound through a2dp on it.
Is it possible? Which tool I must use? Any ideas how to do that?
Thanks for all your replies
hhmmmm
you mean, that you only want to listen music from your ppc on your pc with a2dp service?
try to use bluesoleil. It has many services.
Code:
http://www.bluesoleil.com/support/index.asp?topic=voip_quick_guide
yes, you can do that, provided your device and bluetooth support it.
I do it all the time at work. If you computer has Bluetooth Stereo Audio profile, you pair your phone with it and simply select "set as stereo bluetooth" on your phone, shouldn't require any settings on the computer side and voila, you'll have your audio through your computer. It blows my co-workers minds how I go from headphones to my desktop. My work doesn't have a lot of internet bandwidth so I use my phone to stream di.fm and bassdrive.com.

[REQ] Audio Stream via Bluetooth Handsfree?

Hi,
I am looking for a way to stream audio from the Touch HD to my Car. Unfortunately the cars built-in audio system doesn't support bluetooth. But there is that handsfree-thing, which works really great with calls. So I wondered, if there is a software solution that streams my music from the phone as "incoming call" to my car?
I've tried "acbToggleBT" and "BTASP" and both didn't work in the Car, but they did work with a bluetooth headset.
It would be really great if somebody knows, finds, posts, programs or has an solution.
Thanks in advance!

I can't remember but there was an option to route normal audio to the bluetooth handset in my HP iPAQ which is missing from HD.
Believe me music streaming to HSF device will be as good as listening to AM radio on poor reception. Go get a bluetooth A2DP profile audio headunit like Sony - MEX-BT2500 (this is the one I use and works like a charm).
Thanks for your reply.
Perhaps I took the wrong words to explain what I am looking for.
The thing I want is a piece of software that "imitates" an incoming call and sends the audio from S2P to the handsfree of my car.
Maybe this explanation is a bit better...?
[edit]
have you tried BT Audio
it's a paid app
acbToggleBT always worked for me
try this
There are 3 apps
btaudio on
btaudio off
bttoogle (on/off)
i made a cab file for it

All i can say is this based on using it on my HD with WM 6.1 & 6.5 (Dutty ROM):
Once you install the program and then execute it (Press On):
It will transfer all Music & Audio from Movies (Core Player) etc. to my BT Nokia Headset or my BT Car Speakerphone (Motorola T305), i do not have a Radio BT set so i can't tell you, you'll just have to try.
This Cab solved my problem as the basic BT HD ROM sertting only transfers the Phone audio while this little cab transfers ALL audio, so i would presume that it may help you with your BT radio, you can always uninstall the cab if it doesn't work for you.
There is NO emulation invloved here!!??
Good luck!
Hi Ausi, tried on my Nokia BT car handsfree but no joy
The handsfree only accepts an incoming call as stated above so some sort of emulation may be needed. Would be happy if someone knew about something...

Funny... my HD does the reverse. I get de BT audio but on the BT phone I got nothing but static...
I've got a Sony Xplod bluetooth radio in my car.
When I start up it automatically connects to my HD, however it only connects as handsfree rather than both handsfree and BT stereo.
I have to go into comms manager and bluetooth settings, then select and hold on the xplod in the device list.
A menu comes up asking what I'd like to connect as, and I pick stereo, then repeat for handsfree.
Give that a go. Holding on the device to bring up the menu gives you the BT profiles the device is capable of, so with a bit of luck stereo/headphones will be an option for you.

play music from notebook over bluetooth

Hi,
is it possible to play music on my laptop and listen on my Xperia with my headphones plugged in my phone? I do not have a bluetooth handsfree, I would like to find out if it is possible to listen with my headphones..

[Q] [Help] my bluetooth headset doesn't play music any more!!

I have a BLUETOOTH Plantronics BackBeat 903+ headset. I was able to listen to music and make calls. However, last week, I could only able to make calls but, can't listen to MUSIC . the headset is connected normally to the phone but can't play Music. I tried this morning with SGII and the headset works fine(calls and music). So, the problem is from my ARC. I can't remember what I did ... did I delete some system files or install a program that makes this problem.
I'm wondering, what are systems files that manage the bluetooth?
Any suggestion?
Thank you

I had the same problem when I updated the "ANT Radio Service"!
When I connect my bluetooth motorcycle, I can call and receive calls from my phone, but when I run my music (the BT-button), the phone says "plug a cable into your headphone jack!"?! And the only application that needs of the cable is the Radio!
So I deleted the prefs radio in the management of applications and now it's ok (I do not use the radio)
What all!
Thank you all.
I could not find "prefs radio" in apps, installed apps, all. So, I install the rom again.
