found out that the fm radio signal is very weak when you are inside the building ? is there anywhere to have a better radio signal reception

Hi, i'm having signal problem on my PDA2k in low coverage condition,my pda shows no signal at all and keep perfoming a scan for available network to no avail.do you maybe have a quick fix for me.

On the screen it is showing very varying signal even when I am staying on the same place.
Q1. Is there a way to see some numerical values of the signal - a plugin or something
Q2. Is there a significant improvement of the managing radio signal in radio ver. 1.15.00?

First let me say, I know there is a Stick for Radio's here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432770 But, a lot of people who post in that thread do not have a location filled out or don't post where they are. So, there is a lot of useless info.
So, I figured I would start a "US Only" Radio Thread.
Has anyone flashed another radio beside's using the shipped v1.00.25.08?
I am currently testing: Radio v1.02.25.11
With 1.00.25.08 I used to get "H" a lot. Phone signal was good. GPS lock was about 2-3 minutes coldstart with Tomtom.
With 1.02.25.11 I no longer get "H" speeds. 3G all the time. Phone signal is great. GPS with Google Maps is great. I have not been able to test Tomtom yet due to a recent ROM flash.
As I am in my office most of the time, Radio v1.00.25.BS14 has been the best for me. Picks up the best signal as Radio v1.00.25.05 (1 less bar than BS14), Radio v1.00.25.07 and Radio v1.00.25.08 could not pick up much of a signal.
I used Radio v1.00.25.05 for a few days with Dutty 26RC1 and it worked well, but when I flashed Dutty ver27 Rc2, I had very bad signal.... so I flashed to Radio v1.00.25.BS14.I went from 1 bar too 3 bars in my office.
Still have problems holding on to a 3G signal, seems like I can only get Edge until I get a strong enough signal to get HSDPA.

There is no such "best radio" the best radio is the one that works better with your cell provider, and by the way, as far as I know radio has to do with cell signal not with WIFI (Hope I´m not wrong)
Searching did not reveal the answer.
Before I rooted (2.2 and radio not known) I would have full strength anywhere in the house with WIFI. After rooting and installing CM7 my signal is weaker.
Installed 2.15.10.07.07 with no improvement or with 2.15.00.05.2 (current)
WiFi scanning in areas I used to receive service fails to obtain them.
3G seems somewhat weaker but that is only a guess. GPS is good.
Advice?

Wifi has nothing to do with the radio. Not sure what your issue is caused by though. Wifi bars may visualy change at different percents in different roms like battery mods do.
