Hello,
What version of slingplayer should I use on my TP2? The TP2 is not listed on the slingplayer website. Is there a different phone model I should use or is there a TP2 version floating around out there somewhere?

Hello, I noticed that a "inhand" application is available for SE xperia, so how I can get it to HD? Handango site doesn't have 480x800 version, only for older low-reso models. And is that a good software at all?
I've had a search and can't seem to find anything worth using, TV Guide sounded good but only featured US listings. Does anyone know of a decent TV listings application which has UK TV listings?
I use the old PTVL (Pocket TV Listing) with data downloaded with XMLTV and converted into PTVL format via its own XML converting tool
Has anyone found a version of Scrabble that will work on the TP2?
Have you tried this one?
You want a game for WVGA and the description says it "should" work with WVGA resolutions.
Look for Scrobble. There should be a link for it in the stickied software thread in the rhodium forum.
apologies if this has been posted before, but im new to the AFTV scene and aint posted on here in years!
I have this app for my android tabelt and the latest version now allows Virgin customers (which im one) to log in with their virgin ID rather than Sky and watch the channels live. This works fine on android.
Ive got (what i think is) the apk of this (got it using that apk scraper that pulls apks from the google play store) and sideloaded onto my aftv.
Now, with a mouse it works fine, but what i cant find is the option to log on with your virgin account, like comes up on the tablet? The only section about live tv brings up a link to the sky go app (which the old versions of this app did).
Do i have an old version of the app / apk? And if so does anyone have a link to the latest? I did put the url to the latest version in the scraper though
Anyone had any joy?
It seems like (if i do have the latest apk) that the option that appears on the tablet version isnt on when its on fire tv, but not sure how thats possible!!?
cheers

Don't know if you've got this fixed out, but my sky sports for android tablet version on the Fire TV has the ability to sign in using Virgin media. Wonder if you just don't have the correct sky sports apk version installed. You're looking for Sky sports for android 3.0 (427) dated Jan 15, 2015. I downloaded mine from the aptoide store which I sideloaded to the fire tv.
Just F.Y.I If you sideload the apotide apk app to the Fire Tv and do a search, the old version will pop up. Turns out if you install a browser on the Fire TV, like Maxthon, you can search other stores which will allow you to find the latest version. I've found out that there are too many websites offering the latest version of apps and after sideloading them, it turns out to be nothing more than them putting one of their stores on to the fire. At least aptoide is clean and you can find the latest app you're looking for.
Is there a possibility to convert between the FireTV 2 US/DE/... country-specific versions and the Basic/International versions?
Does anyone know the differences?
I have a FireTV2 which i bought from amazon.de, but cannot use the Amazon apps it in Belgium.
I can however sideload the generic "TV" version of the Netflix app, the Prime Video apps etc...
Not sure if the difference is just in the serial numbers, and therefore controlled from the Amazon server-side,
or if we can do anything about it on the device-side, and actually make a "normal" FireTV stick act as the "basic/international" version?
Most likely serial number based. You can test it yourself, root/unlock is easy and with that you can flash a prerooted rom from rbox.
