I ordered it on Wednesday, and I got it Friday! Yippee!!
I love this phone! So much nicer then my old Wizard! I thought it would be bigger then the wizard, but it isn't really. And, actually, it is a good bit thinner!
Any how, I am working through the settings, and am trying to resist installing any software on the phone until I have used it for a day or so. Just until I have a feel for the phone at factory specs.

Hey, I was just wondering where to buy this phone on contract.
I see many people have it and I really want it on contract.
Its on www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk but is that website trusted?
Thanks, Chris
As far as I'm aware, they've been around for quite some time, so I certainly don't think there's any issue of them being some didgy company if that's what you're worried about.
I do know that they've got limited stock at the moment, although they seem to be getting new deliveries fairly quickly. They're not too easy to get hold of on the phone, and can take a while to respond by email (my guess is they're slammed with demand for the TP2 as they seem to be the only place at the moment to get one on contract).
I had some issues on Friday ordering from them so ended up cancelling, but they emailed this morning to apologise about the mixups, and I had a very helpful guy who's trying to get me one out pdq so fingers crossed.
If you want it on contract, and you want it now, then as far as I'm aware, they are your only option. Others on here have already had TP2 delivered from MPD so they will get you one, there might just be a couple of days delay.
Sweet, thanks.
I think I might just have to purchase one soon then. See, I really need a new phone. I did have an LG viewty which absolutely sucked and wasn't working so I threw it at a concrete floor and the screen went blank and doesn't show anything so now I'm stuck with a SE W810i and it's torture ;o
So yeh, Thanks, Chris

I expected it to work :O Didn't think about it breaking was too annoyed when trying to make important texts... And I wouldn't dare do that witht he tp 2
Thanks
Just to clarify... bought my TP2 on mobilephonesdirect.co.uk a week ago... it's sweet as a nut!
I MIGHT be going back to my Blackberry! I miss it... The only feature that I'm really going to miss on my TP2 is the Youtube app. I wish Blackberry had an ultimate youtube app.
I know what you guys are thinking. TP2 can do so much more and yeah I know that, but I'm a blackberry fan. The only reason I got the TP2 was to try it and I liked it. It's a great phone and all, but in the back of my head I was thinking about my Blackberry. So once the Blackberry BOLD 9700 drops in Nov. for T-Mobile, I'm there.
If you guys are interested in buying a T-Mobile TP2 around when Nov. starts let me know, I will be selling it for $399 and everything comes with it except my beautiful EASECASE then. If not then I'll put it up on the XDA and craigslist for sale.

I am thinking of going bk andriod, tmo is droping a moto clique, that is the same as verizons Driod, these have the fastest cpu on any phone, hihest screen reso also, and adriod is just starting to get sick. I only owned BB for the past 8yrs, BB is BB all the same, nothing really changes.
See ya! I have a Blackberry now and I hate it. I only have it as a spare since my Xperia died on me. I'm waiting for UPS to deliver my TP2 tomorrow. I won't miss Blackberry

I was looking at my cousins 8900 which was the one I use to have before the TP2. I have a feeling I will regret it if I go back because the TP2 is so much better. So yeah I will just wait until RIM releases something crazy and NEW...If ever!
hehe ...
for me the same thing 2 weeks ago,
I bought the BB Bold 9700, I have the TP 2 & Diam 1 & the Nova (Touch) laid off, maybe i come back with the HTC Throphy when WM works better
Maybe I will rise again ...

Shame to hear your case...
For me it is a great business device which fills all my needs
If you decide to sell ask a Mod to move this post to it´s proper section, so you´ll have more chances to sell your Rhodium.
Hi All,
I just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to all on this site that produce tutorials, help, new ROMS , and advice...
I was one of the first to own an M700 3 years ago - I loved it then - even though all my mates were getting Nokia 95s etc...I went for the trinity...im glad i did.
In my opinion, its still a pretty good phone - and with a new 6.5 rom - looks and acts even better than ever!.
I had a prob where i actually bricked it yesterday partially but with posts on here, i was able to put it right...
Ive got the fingerkeypad working today and im absolutely made up with how the device looks (software wise)...
Im gonna get a new black case off ebay over Xmas and thatll top it off - itll feel brand new.
Again, a big thanks to all....
its a good site..
Rich
Almost got the HD2 - but after reading about the still bad WMo and heard about the 'Bravo' I decided to wait. I have now ordered it from T-Mob (£90 2yrs £10/m).. but already there are new phones coming up!!! Always when you buy the 'latest' phone, next day there is a new much better out! Its kinda annoying!
Some of you guys buy all of them as they come up... I will be stick with it for the next 24months... wondering what the mobile phone world is like then in 2012! Maybe theres a Iphone 5 or something, or maybe Nokia has come back. Anyway... Ive taken the plunge. Hope Desire is as good as they say!
Well guys/gals... thanks to my darling 18 month boy, my old faithful dash got dunked. I took it apart, and dried it out, but the directional keys do not work. After thinking about what I need a phone with (T-mobile), and not wanting to get a full data plan (just stick to the $10 plan). I came across and purchased a Samsung A177 for $65 (Phone price, and unlock code), and sold the air time for $15. It is a pretty decent phone, a good replacement for the dash. Maybe not as intuitive, but wow, have over 75% battery life after it being on for 33 hours! It's rocking along. Opera 4.2 is on it, but some of my normal stuff (like weather) has been substituted for the google text info sms. Anyway, thanks a lot to everyone, I may not have posted much, but man, I have spent alot of time on this forum over the past couple years.
Peace out.
good luck! Enjoy your new phone.
Thanks man. I cannot express enough gratitude for all the help, and thoroughness of everyone on here. It was so great to take a decent phone, and make it all so much better! Take care everyone!
Good luck
Hope u get a HTC again soon as all so pimpable...... and like ya say such a great community...
